Severus sat in his chair. drinking away his pain. lily was dead and James didn't even care about her enough to keep it in his pants long enough to attempt to look like he was mourning her. he threw the bottle in disgust. what man cheats on his pregnant wife, knocks up the mistress, and then abandons his daughter somewhere, and then he had the audacity to act like she's still around in the news!

Holly wasn't living there. the headmaster told him in confidence. James couldn't take care of her so he sent her to live with her aunt. he was too distraught to ask any more questions. he's been a mess since then.

he was about to get another drink when his mark started to burn. he was being called. the dark lord was back... that sobered him up quickly as he left to look decent before he left to go see the devil himself.

Tom sat in his chair still wearing the slippers Holly got him. he didn't want them to take them off. it was cold in his office. people started to pour in. the Malfoy's, Parkinson, Crabbe, Goyle, Pike, Nott, Bulstrode, Flint, Montague, max, Blishwick, Hitches, Gamp, Burke, Yaxley, MacMillan, Fortescue, Johnson, Granger, Prewett, Rosier, and Meliflua were there. he was missing a lot of his death eaters but he was fine with that. he had plans he was going to have in motion.

Snap popped in looking a mess. it was clear he was going through something. through the meeting, it seems Narcissa saw the little card holly made. half away through the meeting tom heard a small crash. " I have to leave for a moment. you may speak freely " he walked towards the door and shut it with a bang.

as soon as the dark lord left she got up and went to his desk and saw the card. Narcissa picked it up and was shocked. it was clearly drawn by a child. when she turned it around. she saw what was on the back. her world halted; the dark lord had a daughter? dolly? Maybe a nickname? she didn't notice her husband come up to her. " Narcissa, what are you doing! " he whispered harshly. " that's the lord's desk! " he whispered again. " look at the drawing " he raised his eyebrow before looking at it. he stared wide-eyed. and all at once, he figured it out. " she put the name dolly on the back with a message for our lord " Narcissa said to her husband, Lucius looked at her with intrigue " dolly? a nickname maybe? "

Severus snap walked his groggy ass over to the two blonde idiots, trying to get themselves killed at the first meeting in four years. as he got closer he could hear them." she put the name dolly on the back with a message for our lord "the hell did that mean? he walked up behind them and saw it. it was a picture from a child... he felt like his blood was frozen in his veins... the dark lord at a child, a little girl.

he didn't move when the Malfoy's turned to leave after putting it back the desk.

they were surprised to see Severus standing there. he only blinked at them. he could only imagine the tiny Terror that was, the dark lord's daughter. what if that small crash was her destroying something because she was told no? or what if it was from her gutting some poor soul...

he stood there when he heard someone open the door. fearing for his life, he turned and was about to bow and bed for his master's forgiveness when he saw Narcissa listening in. He and most of the death eaters were quiet to hear them.

Tom left to check out the noise and saw holly trying to drag a box full of the broken kitchen appliances away. she was in near tears " what happened sugar plum. why are you crying? " holly looked and sniffed. " I think I broke the radio... I wanted to help fix it with mommy... but I broke it... " Tom grinned. " I see, so you and mommy are experimenting on the kitchen appliances together " holly nodded " yea but I can't help that much.. and I broke something, what if I broke things more?... " Tom smiles and patted her shoulder. " they were are already broken to begin with, honey. so don't worry " holly perked up " thanks daddy " she hugged him with a smile. he hugged her back and kissed her head gently. " have fun sugar plum and make sure to watch your mother, she might blow something up " " I heard that! " lily shouted, holly grinned " ok daddy, I love you " Tom sighed state of contentment.

" I love you too sugar plum" tom used a feather-light charm on the box so she could get it to lily faster. holly was laughing on the way back.

the death eater got back in their seats and shut the door. by the time he came back. no one said a thing. everyone was thinking back on what they heard. the dark lord at a child, a partner. the child sounded so young. maybe he was waiting till she was older to introduce her to them? but all Severus could think of was what he called the child. sugar plum? that didn't sound right. the dark lord was incapable of love or simple kindness so why was he so kind to his daughter that could not further his bloodline?

when the meeting came to an end the Malfoy's seemed a little too o chipper as they left. in fact, most death eaters were.

when Severus left he went straight home and floo'ed the headmaster. " Albus i have disturbing news. " the headmaster stroked his long white beard, which was in no way to emulate Merlin's beard. " what is it my boy, what has you troubled? " the old man said as he ate some of his Lemon drops. " the dark lord is back " Albus spat out the candy and tried to catch his now wheezing breath. " that's not all, headmaster "

the old man looked as he finally got his breath " he has a child and a partner, sir, we all found out from nosey Narcissa, she snooped around the dark lord's desk and found a child's drawing on top of it. and then she proceeded to listen in on the dark lord's conversation with his daughter. " Albus looked worried now. the dark lord had a secret family. this could only mean his direction to send holly away was for the best. " that's not the most disturbing part Albus " Albus was about to ask him something when it hit him, did he say daughter? " did you say daughter as in he had a girl? " Severus let out a sigh " yes sir he has a daughter, she sounds young too but that's not the most disturbing part. the girl seems to love him and by the way they talked, so does he."

the headmaster was taken aback. that was impossible! the dark lord should be incapable of even the smallest crumb of love or even kindness. he made sure of it when he let him make those Horcruxes! " are you sure my boy? " Severus nods " yes I am sir " Albus looked at him solemnly. " keep an eye on the girl for her own safety and alert me of the going on's of the dark lord's plans " Severus bowed " of course sir " the floo call ended Albus got. " it should have work! he should be an unfeeling monster! " he yelled " but at least my plans for holly will turn out better, and if not I can always go through James and use holly as a pawn. After all, James is desperate to get his legitimate heir back "

he sat in his chair and ate another Lemon drop before going back to his papers. he didn't take note of the Phoenix glaring at him with hatred.
