Lily got up that morning and did her usual morning routine with Tom and Holly. made breakfast like usual and she was about to start on her charms when she saw the backyard, it was huge and looked like it was once a beautiful place to be. with lush hedges near the fence, green grass, and beautiful flowers. she had sighed at what it looked like now. dead rotting hedges, brown dead grass, and dead space. she might as well fix up the garden. she didn't wanna fix it solely with magic.
she wanted to fix up the garden with her own two hands. like she did with her mother when they started their own garden. she and her mother worked on her it together with petunia helping. her father made lemonade for us or would get us something to drink after a long day of work. she enjoyed that as a girl. and maybe she and Holly could do that too sometime. but she might wanna see how severe the damages were first. she had walked out in her nightdress, which compliments her body shape well. she wore no shoes into the garden. but just as she was checking the garden, an uninvited guest graced their doorstep.
Peter finally found where his master was at, he was surprised that his master was back so soon. he was going to bring his master back eventually, when it was in his favor of course. it had taken him days to finally escape his mother's watchful eye but he'd done it. he had popped himself inside the home that he followed his dark mark too. he was inside the empty meeting room. but he was sure his master wasn't here right now. he turned and saw a flash of red outside the window. he walked up to the window for a better look. he saw a red-headed woman in a nice-looking nightgown.
it wasn't too long or short, fit her well. he was a bit confused, why was women here? well, she was in the garden, so maybe he needed someone to help with the house? it did need a human women's touch after all.
he walked away from the window and out the door and down the wall way. he stop at the living entrance when he saw a little girl with black wild hair sitting next to a perfectly brought back dark lord. he'd seen the pictures of the dark Lord's true face before his demise. and there he was reading a book with a child looking over his shoulder. he was instantly scared for the little girl. did she know was kind of danger she was in. he stopped worrying so much when he heard her speak. " why do they think we're all bad? " it seemed like they were reading together. " because they fear what they can not control sugar plum " his mind came to a screeching halt. did he hear the dark lord call a little girl sugar plum??
he stood still and listened more. the little girl looked up at her father with a sad look. " but we used to live together right? " the dark lord nodded. " yes we did once upon a time. but now they cast us as villains and thieves in the night. but there are always two sides to every story sweetie. " he was shocked when he saw the dark lord lean down and kiss her head. " I won't daddy " she smiled at her dad while Peter felt like the air has been taken from his lungs. daddy?! that was his daughter? he had a child? did he have a wife too? was she that redhead he saw before maybe?
His head was spinning when the girl let out a laugh. " daddy, you'll mess up my hair! " the dark lord had a smirk on his face as he ruffled up her before pulling her into a hug. " now it's all messed up " she let out a shriek of laughter. " dad! " she giggled as she playful pushed herself off. he still couldn't wrap his head around it.
he took a deep breath and said a prayer. " um sir? " the pair stopped and looked at him. the girl looked at him confused. " daddy who's he? " Holly looked up at her father in confusion, who was that man and why was he in their house?
the dark lord stared at Peter Pettigrew. in his home. standing in his hallway. intruding on his time with his daughter.
he had the Cruciatus curse on the tip of his tongue before he remembered Holly was there and didn't wanna frighten her. look at the rat-like man and forced out. " he one of daddy's employees from his business. " Holly looked at him. " he is? " tom nodded. " yes and he must need to tell me something, so we're going to go to my office. " Holly smiled not noticing Peter's fear. " ok daddy, I'll go help mommy " she instantly ran to the garden where he saw how beautiful the redhead was. but when he got a closer look at her, his heart nearly stopped. it was the late Lily Potter! b-but she was dead, his lord killed her! Tom took notice of his pale expression and pulled him down the hallway with him to the meeting
he was thrown into the empty meeting room, Pettigrew felt his heart beating faster and faster. " you know, peter I have a new rule and you'll find it's quite obvious. " he sent a silent Cruciatus curse at the rat-like man. " and it's don't interrupt my family time with Holly or Lily. " Peter looked up with terror-filled eyes. he was terrified. clearly, he was still insane. because not only did he bring back Lily Potter and brainwash her. he did so to her daughter as well. making her believe he's her father. talk about messing up your enemies.
his master zapped him till he was shaking on the ground shaking. as he laid there in pain his master began to speak. " I'll tell you a secret, that night when I was insane and killed lily and sent the killing curse at Holly I accidentally made her my Horcrux. I died and when I was brought back I remember everything with perfect clarity. so when I was brought back and saw Holly and knew that she was my Horcrux. but she wasn't just a Horcrux, she was an intelligent, sweet, and powerful child. you see I have always wanted a family of my own and now I have it. I'm finally going to get the Life I've wanted for so long and if you keep your mouth to Dumbledore and send a message to so one, I'll let you live Pettigrew " Peter nodded.
" w-who do you need me to pass the message along to. " you know him, Peter, he was your friend before he was sent to Azkaban. " Peter started to shake a bit. " y-you mean... " his master had an evil smirk on his face " yes Sirius Black, I wanted him to see lily and Holly, I know Lily would enjoy the company and Holly could have someone watch her if we're not around besides my mother's ghost " Peter looked a bit confused. " your mother's ghost? " Tom nodded " yes she helped Holly bring us back " Peter felt his jaw hang open, that was powerful even by magic standards and she was a child! he was impressed.
" I have some questions I need to ask Mr. Black about his time at Hogwarts. " Peter raises an eyebrow at his master. " why? " his master only looking at him with a slight glare. " because it seems someone was abusing their power as a teacher to twist the students however they like. it's happening twice. once is a coincidence, twice is proof, now go before it gets dark " nodded and popped back home to get cleaned up. he didn't know what to do but he wasn't going to let his master down.
