Yes you can say the gospels are the inspired word of God. But if you were an author you would know. Put yourself in the writer's position. They are writing a letter! In their own words! To the best of their current knowledge. Now they could have misinterpreted some thing's. And be corrected later with Christ. Specifically details of Christ that weren't witnessed in front of their face. They are still men that don't know all things! And have to live a human life like everyone else! Now they are leader's! Not saying they're not. But they have to continually learn and be corrected like everyone else! And you have to remember, Jesus is not beside them anymore in these times. And now only in faith like everyone else.
