Prologue
Dumbledore's tomb... The divine resting ground for one of the greatest men to have roamed this Earth. Looking over the vast Great Lake, it paid homage to one of the finest men Harry Potter had known.
It was white, pure. But it held something that besmirched the very essence of pure. The object's very nature opposed what a man such as Dumbledore's legacy left, and it'd been left there by Harry himself…
"I'm sorry, Professor," Harry whispered, standing at the foot of the grave solemnly.
Harry intended to relieve the grave of such, and with a deft swipe of his wand, Harry opened the sealed tomb.
Lay harmoniously inside, Dumbledore's inanimate corpse, holding an object between his supple fingers.
The Elder Wand.
A couple of months ago, Harry had placed the wand back in the care of Dumbledore, believing it the best and safest place. Now, he wasn't so sure... He'd keep it with him, just in case.
Harry knelt down beside the man, unwrapping the wand from his grasp gently. There was a power to the wand, a rush, as he deftly wrapped his fingers around the wood. This would help, this would give him what he needed. He put the wand into his robes, hidden in one of the many enchanted pockets.
He stood, stepping away from the resting place of Dumbledore, summoning the hidden object that'd lay at Dumbledore's side, placed there along with The Elder Wand months ago.
He repositioned the lid of the tomb back as it had been, and with one last flick of his wand, a bunch of lilies materialised on top of the tomb.
And, with a fleeting last glance, Harry wandered away, back up to the warm Gryffindor Dorms. Two wands richer. One of elder, one of yew.

A/N: It follows the original 7 books up till the end of the final battle, and then my story comes in. Harry and Ron decide to attend Hogwarts. That's where this starts.
It'll have a fairly light tone, but with underlying issues that the war will have caused.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, this is just a prologue and a teaser of what's to come! Chapters will be longer than this one.
