Chapter 304: I Spy With My Little Eye

Smackdown was in Austin, Texas and Zack was facing Antonio Cesaro.

Skye was walking backstage of the arena as she spotted Madison and Alex being lovey-dovey.

Skye was happy that Madison finally found love with Alex but at the same time, she was missing John. She kept hoping he'll come back at some point.

As Skye continued to look at Madison and Alex, Jasmine approached her as she spotted Madison and Alex as well.

"Look at those two," Jasmine rejoiced. "If only Evan and I could find our way back to the way it was when we got married.

"Still working on your marriage?" Skye asked.

"Yeah. I mean, even though he is not here because of his injury, I still hope it's the wake up call for him to straighten up."

"Are you still compilating divorce if he doesn't straighten up?"

"Yeah, I can't be in a hopeless marriage like my parents were; that's what I'm afraid of."

"Well, whatever you decide, I'll support you."

"Thanks."

"Listen, there's something I need to ask you." Then Skye pulled Jasmine aside away from Madison and Alex. "I found out that Eve is gonna be facing Kaitlyn for the job as Booker T's assistant since he is General Manager of Smackdown and I was wondering if she tends to win, could you spy on her?"

"You want me to spy on Eve?"

"Yeah, besides I happen to be assistant to A.J. but Eve, I don't trust her one bit, especially with all the crap she has pulled lately. I need you to be my eyes and ears because I'm pretty sure she's going to do something to Booker T and Teddy Long."

"Okay, fine. I'll do my best to keep an eye on her if she wins."

"Thank you."

Skye and Jasmine fawn over Madison and Alex's relationship.

A little later, Smackdown was on and Eve walking backstage as Skye following her.

Eve did indeed win her match against Kaitlyn to become the assistant to the Smackdown General Manager. As Eve went inside Booker T's office, Skye stopped outside to hear their conversation.

"Booker," Eve said.

"Eve, congratulations," Booker congratulated as he and Eve shake hands.

"Thank you, Booker. I just have to say I know that I'm your assistant, but I have so many ideas that I want to bring to the table and improve Smackdown. I learned so much from being with John Laurinaitis…"

"Eve, I saw the reservation, it's all good. But the one question I got, my senior advisor, you and him got a whole lot of history, Teddy Long, how you're going to able to get along? That's my only question."

"Absolutely, the past is the past, I'm all about the future. Teddy and I are going to be great together."

"Alright, alright, welcome aboard."

"Alright, I'm going to get a quick shower up and I'm at your disposal. Let's get straight to work."

Then Eve went to walk away when she bumped into Skye.

"Well, it seems as though you slithered your way into being Booker T's assistant but I got my eye on you, Eve," Skye interjected…and so does A.J."

"Skye, I only did what I thought would be right for Smackdown and it seems as though you have an issue with it," Eve objected.

"Oh, I do considering your history with Teddy Long and you betraying Zack Ryder, it's not that hard to forget. If I were you, you better watch yourself."

Then Skye walked away.

A little later, it was time for the match between Zack and Antonio Cesaro. Antonio's entrance theme played as he came out from the curtain with Askana following him.

Antonio twirled Askana around as he was pumping his arms in the air and Antonio & Askana walked arm-in-arm as they got on the ring apron. Askana held the ropes for Antonio as Antonio followed and Askana got into the ring as she asked for a microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Askana announced, "the future United States Champion, Antonio Cesaro, would like to speak to you in five different languages. First, in his native Swiss."

"Förlorare"

"In Italian."

"Perdente."

"In German."

"Verlierer"

"In French."

"Perdant"

"And in English."

"Loser and if you didn't understand all of that, that's the point."

Antonio was referring to Santino Marella who was sitting at the commentator's booth.

Then Antonio and Askana kissed each other as Zack's entrance theme as he came out from the curtain with Valerie following him.

Valerie was wearing a white and black polka dot dress with a red bow and her hair curled.

Zack and Valerie walked hand-in-hand down the ramp as Zack climbed onto the ring apron and got on the turnbuckles as he raised his arms in the air. Then he got into the ring as he took off his headband and sunglasses as the referee called for the bell.

Antonio quickly landed a knee to the midsection before hitting a gutwrench suplex and Antonio kicks him in the head and grabbed Zack has he landed a couple of head-butts him in the chest and head-butts him in the face and then applied a chinlock but Zack quickly got up and hit Antonio in the midsection as Antonio push Zack to the ropes and landed a facebuster.

Then Zack hits a pair of clotheslines as Antonio stumbled to the corner and Zack landed a forearm shiver in the corner and then a Broski Boot for a near fall and Antonio went to the ropes as Zack went after him but the referee pulled him away and Antonio landed a right hand to the midsection as got Zack on his shoulders and quickly hotshots him on the rope and hits the Neutralizer for the win.

Antonio quickly rolled out of the ring and Santino stood up as Antonio shoved Santino's face and Antonio backed away before Santino went after him but Antonio pushed him over the commentary table. Antonio backed away as Santino got up screaming at him.

After Smackdown was over, Jasmine was looking for Eve and saw her coming out of Booker T's office. She quietly followed Eve around hoping that Eve doesn't catch her. She made out the arena with no problems and then Eve put her stuff away in the trunk of her car and then got in as she drove off.

Jasmine didn't find anything suspicious yet but she knew Eve would do anything to get what she wants.
