Sam and Dean are investigating a case where children have been dying of frostbite in the middle of the night. According to the lore, the culprit could only be Jack Frost.

Crowley has teamed up with Pitch Black to take down Jack Frost before he can be manipulated into siding with Lucifer. However, once Pitch gets a sniff of revenge, he gets greedy, and unleashes his wrath on the young guardian. The Spirit of Winter is in need of help, and it might have to come from two brothers and a fallen angel who have belief issues, what could possibly go wrong?

Crowley, showing an interest in the Guardians, attempts to lure Pitch into working with him. Pitch refuses, and instead attempts to unite the fallen Legends to drive out the Guardians and prove to the Moon that he can control the world without them. Meanwhile, Garth calls Sam and Dean for help after being frozen by a vengeful spirit (gee I wonder who that could be.)

When children in the town of Burgess are found frozen to death in their beds, the Winchesters go on the hunt for the creature responsible. Local lore tells of Burgess being the origin place of the winter spirit known as Jack Frost, and thinking he's the killer, the boys set out to put Jack down for his final rest. Jack, however, has other plans...

The town of Burgess is plagued with strange happenings. Unusual murders, monsters, and playground rumours. Of course it would attract the attention of the Hunters and Legend alike.

For eons, Castiel has worked tirelessly to earn the most coveted status among the angels of Heaven: that of an Archangel. With only one task left to complete, Castiel eagerly looks forward to his final charge of shaping Dean Winchester into a Guardian over Earth.
