In the holodeck, Commander Riker arranges for Clark Kent to meet characters from other places and times then proceeds to a magnificent battle in the nearest cornfield.

To aid him in making an important decision, Data visits the holodeck and interacts with Clark Kent, Lex Luthor and others in the Talon. The crucial decision ends up having a huge impact on Earth's history.

When Data, Geordi and Commander Riker visit the Smallville program on the holodeck, it impacts the Legion in the 31st century.
