The world was now in complete chaos.

It was night, yet the skies were shining bright as if the Sun had forgotten to retire from its place in the sky. The Moon, an enormous orb of chaos, was glowing so gloriously that for the naked eyes it was giving an impression of the Sun itself, divinely juxtaposing with the stygian skyscape. In addition, it looked like a giant red eye with a ripple pattern spread across it, nine tomoe embedded onto the three menacing concentric rings.

Currently, the Moon was serving as the medium for the strongest genjutsu humankind had ever seen or known. The world was presently engulfed in the sweet embrace of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Everyone across the ninja world was being devoured in cocoon-like constructions, which were affixed to the core of Shinju, stealing from them their freedom, while giving them something immensely desired but utterly fraudulent .

Due to this, for the first time since their founding, the Elemental Nations were at peace, because all of the residents of the said nations were trapped in an unending caravan of dreams, living an illusion that was far more beautiful and enticing than the reality itself. It was heavily ironic, the nations that had so laboriously worked for peace were only granted it by being immersed in a delusional fantasy of make-believe tranquility. The illusion was nothing but an instrument that was ensnaring them in their own fantasies, making them feel what they always had subconsciously yearned for, pipedreams that could only be foolishly wished for in the real world.

But unbeknownst to all of them, the Shinju was callously consuming their chakra, transferring it to none other than the Rabbit Goddess herself. A Trojan rabbit.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the aforementioned goddess, was currently fighting in the decisive battle to reclaim the power that was hers from the very beginning… Chakra.

- oOo-

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, also known as the Rabbit Goddess or The Progenitor of Chakra, was an elegant-looking woman with pale skin. However, unlike normal humans, her beautiful face was home to many unique characteristics possessed only by the members of her species. From the sharp brown horns grown out from the top of her head to the pale lavender eyes, her face was too perfect to belong to any mortal. Her delicate features seemed to be painstakingly and lovingly weaved with the silkiest and finest divine yarn, as if some God of creation had poured his utmost into crafting a face so beautiful, all women of the mortal realm would immediately be defeated.

Right now, she was drifting high in the air with her radiant lavender eyes tensed and narrowed in maximal, unadulterated concentration. Her glowing Byakugan were gazing down at the ground, focusing on a certain blond-haired teen who was trying to stand still on the rough surface.

In the past few days, Kaguya had tried everything she could in order to crush this impudent fool's will. She had killed his female teammate, teacher, best friend, and even that crazy one-eyed Uchiha. But even after that, this boy refused to accept his defeat, still trying to save these Elemental Nations so that he could help them achieve the so-called Peace.

'Your path to peace is a lie.'

She needed to quell him, otherwise, her thousands of years of planning and toil would be wasted away for nothing and she couldn't let that happen. In order to avoid it, she had to remove this last obstacle from her path and after that, she could finally reunite with her precious Chakra.

At first, she had thought that by killing Indra's reincarnation, her victory would be ensured. But, her plan didn't work out, because even on the brink of his death, Sasuke Uchiha, who was the latest reincarnation of her grandson, Indra, was able to pass along his vital and powerful dōjutsu to his best friend Naruto Uzumaki, the present reincarnation of her other grandson, Ashura.

Even Kaguya, a person who possessed an infinite amount of chakra could tell that Naruto's chakra reserves were very much a match for her own. The Goddess sensed that the chakra inside of Naruto was massive, and was constantly growing more powerful due to the influence of the Bijuus. After obtaining the Yin Release, Naruto was even more powerful now, able to overwhelm her in both speed and strength.

"Kaguya!" Naruto's furious shout brought the Goddess out of her thoughts. "Enough is enough! Let's end this fight right now!" He challenged, his tenebrous tone faltering as his mind recalled the sacrifices of his friends.

Kaguya smiled, malice and resentment palpable on her pale face. "End what? This war is already over, child. True peace can never be achieved now" she whispered, her lips curling up in a smirk as she saw the agonized expression on his face.

Naruto tensed a bit when he heard her vicious and cold words. He might refuse to accept the reality of her statements on the outside but deep down his heart had already realized that everything she had spoken until now was absolutely right.

True peace could never be achieved. The peace for which all his precious people perished was nothing but a false illusion of hope and happiness asserting that someday everyone would be able to understand each other. It was temporary, yet he wanted to achieve it. Why? Because transient or not, that ideal was something for which his friends sacrificed their lives without even giving it a second thought. So in order to acknowledge their sacrifices, he wanted to win this war. Discerning that the battle would be continuing soon, he opened his palm to allow one of the Gudōdama to materialize in his hand, before willing the mass of matter to morph into the shape of a slim jet black rod.

"Fight me, Ashura..."

Naruto didn't move an inch. It was unnecessary, because he knew that the woman already had something planned for him. Also, his thoughts were presently influenced by resentment and sorrow, so attacking her erratically with a tumultuous storm in his mind would inevitably drop him straight into her trap, and even one infinitesimally small instance of him being caught off guard would be rewarded by the disintegration of his existence. He couldn't even use any energy-consuming Jutsu against her because she would eventually absorb the energy out from them too. So the most reasonable thing to do at the moment was to rest silently.

"Ashura, answer me, my child." She hummed and waited for him to speak. Being acknowledged by only silence, however, broke her last straw of patience. "Fine, I can see that you don't like your grandmother." The Goddess ferally growled, her Rinnesharingan rippling menacingly as a portal unexpectedly began to materialize below Naruto, compelling him to use his insane speed for the thousandth time that day .

Immediately, he moved away in torrents of Golden flames, seemingly vanishing; only to reappear right behind Kaguya.

Kaguya instantly recognized his presence due to her sensing proficiency and hastily spun around. "You think you can defeat me, my child?" she questioned arrogantly as she swung her hand to unleash her fury on Naruto in the form of her most powerful technique. However, Naruto tilted his head to the side just in time, managing to dodge her All-Killing Ash Bones.

Using speed and Byakugan as her advantage, the silver-haired beauty engaged Naruto in close-quarter combat, but even then Naruto was able to predict her every move with his finely sharpened instincts and the Eye given to him, dodging them easily, as if they were nothing but a toddler's insolent tantrums. He closed his left eye and focused on only one, the Rinnesharingan. Utilizing the reflexes and speed that comes with the eye, he was able to slip past an Ash bone and hit her hard in the face, hard enough to send her rapidly soaring down to the cold and rugged ground, where she impacted with a roaring boom.

"Are you really this angry at me, Ashura? I'm your beloved and beautiful grandmother, my child." A sad whisper echoed throughout the surroundings as she rose from her position and took off to the sky again, dashing towards a startled Naruto.

Her words didn't phase him, she had been using those words since she was rebirthed using Madara but those were merely deceitful and empty words, she didn't mean a single thing she uttered with her fallacious mouth. Naruto opened his closed eyes, taking a breath and preparing for the attack as an ethereal Golden chakra shroud flared around him to protect his body. Soon the chakra took the shape of an enormous nine-tailed fox, covered with partial patches of impenetrable purple armor all over its body. The giant then raised its hands, allowing a bow to materialize in its palm.

"Go," Naruto said and soon an arrow made of pure black flames was shot towards the incoming Goddess.

Kaguya saw the arrow but made no attempt to stop her trek or divert the projectile. "Out of my way!" She exclaimed and manipulated her Godly strength to slice down the arrow, surprising the blonde with the feat. Chakra then began to flare around her as well and started to forge a Gudōdama of her own. When finished, she instantly launched the orb towards a surprised Naruto.

With a little difficulty this time, Naruto avoided the malicious jet ball with the help of his own Gudōdama. Realizing Kaguya was still focused on her technique, he used Amenotejikara on the small stone that lay awry behind her and disappeared in a golden blur. "Goodbye, grandmother." He muttered, his breath gently caressing the skin of the Rabbit Goddess as he drew both of his hands together, showing the Sun and Moon symbols.

Kaguya noticed this and smiled. "Oh, you are absolutely wrong, my child. I'm not going anywhere." Her cold hands cupped his cheeks and soon, pillars of deadly bones bloomed out of her back, stabbing Naruto all over his body, some even managing to pierce his lungs and heart.

"Now, this is a goodbye." Her rosy lips curled up, smirking in satisfaction as she witnessed the agonized expressions on Naruto's face.

"You were undoubtedly one of the most determined people I have ever seen, Asura, even more than Hagoromo, but unlike him, you sadly lacked experience. The lack of experience was your weakness and it helped me to win this war. Now vanish, my dear child." Bringing him close, she gently placed a kiss on his forehead.

'POOF'

"..." She inhaled, looking blankly in surprise when four yellow colored chakra arms erupted out of the ground. Two of them grabbed her feet with a chakra strengthened hold and the other two grabbed her hands, rendering her immobile.

"Well, this is checkmate," Naruto said, his voice finally exhibiting something other than dread. "Now let me say goodbye in your weird style."

His eyes sparkled with satisfaction as he raised his hands, and before Kaguya could do anything, he placed both of them over her chest. "Go to hell, ya old HAG!" He shouted.

" RIKUDŌ-CHIBAKU TENSEI!"

Kaguya closed her eyes in an emotional mixture of resignation, sorrow, anger, and defiance, as a powerful force began to pull on her body.

"Damn you! Damn you, Hagoromo's descendant!" She roared in anger and pain as she gathered all of her remaining strength and turned her hair into tendrils, catching Naruto off guard, who was preparing to leave the battlefield. "If I'm going to be sealed again, then you are coming with me. Say Goodbye to this tainted world, Asura."

Unexpectedly, all of the tendrils began rapidly revolving around him and constricting firmly, leaving him with not enough mobility to even bend his fingers.

" Yomotsu Hirasaka."

'Shit!' Naruto thought, watching a huge black rift open just beside him, swallowing everything it touched. He knew that rift very well, this was the same technique that allowed Kaguya to wander between her multiple dimensions. "Let me go!" He shouted, trying his best to loosen the grip of her hair.

"You can try whatever you want to brat, but you can't escape from my trap this time. This time, I have nothing to lose. But you, on the other hand, have everything to lose. If I cannot have my rightful possession back from this world, then it doesn't deserve to have anything either! I will seal away everything!" She responded. Her laughs began to decline when she noticed her Rinnesharingan getting closed due to the Six Paths' Power. 'I cannot use my power now.' She thought, knowing very well that if she's not able to perform her technique completely, the blonde will be stuck in an endless interdimensional void. The mere thought brought a wicked smile to her face. The idea of Naruto getting lost in an endless void was something that made her very happy. It was an entirely justified punishment for him.

'Kurama.' A determined Naruto called out to his friend. He prepared for the worst and acted accordingly. There was only one way through which he could ensure the safety of his world and he was going to do just that.

" Yes, Naruto." Kurama, the nine-tailed fox, mumbled in uncertainty.

Naruto smiled. 'Get out of me and merge with your Yang half.' His smile wavered when he felt the fluctuations in his chakra, indicating that Kurama wasn't happy with what he just heard.

" And how are you going to get out of here?" Kurama responded fiercely, totally not liking the idea of leaving Naruto all alone. The boy had already suffered a lot in his life, so leaving him alone when they were so close to victory when the fruit of all of Naruto's hard work throughout his life was so close, he couldn't accept abandoning him.

The boy gulped, his eyes narrowing at the large rift which was moving toward him, swallowing everything, from dead bodies of Kages to useless debris of war. 'I'm going to die eventually, Kurama, but you are needed here to dispel the Infinite Tsukuyomi. The Old Gramps sage already has Rinnegan, but he will still need the power of nine Bijūs to dispel the illusion. You clearly know that your Yang half wouldn't be enough, so please get out of me and save the world… at least for me... My friend.' He explained, wishing that his Kurama would understand the importance of the situation in which they both were in.

Naruto wouldn't lie, he wanted to live but knew very well that it wasn't possible now, so the least he could do for his world was sacrifice himself just like his father did in order to make sure that his home remained safe.

Kurama sighed. After listening to his friend's explanation, he couldn't help but agree with the blond. He knew he couldn't be selfish when the whole world was at stake. So with a heavy heart, he made his decision.

" Okay, Naruto." He whispered, sadness apparent in his tone as his eye started clouding up.

Naruto gleamed and soon a bright flash engulfed the blond and in a blink, the mighty Kurama was standing behind Naruto. The fox was looking at the blond with an inconceivable amount of sadness in his eyes as this was the second time Kurama was losing someone he could respect and lay his life for this cursed world.

"Goodbye, Kurama." Naruto waved goodbye to his friend with a bright smile on his bruised face.

Kurama looked away as he felt himself being summoned to the other side of the battlefield. He refused to look at his friend. It was hard.

"Goodbye." Yet a cry still left his mouth when he abruptly turned his head, only to see Naruto, along with other dead bodies, getting swallowed by that huge rift.

-oOo-

The inter-dimensional gap was a chasm of nothingness and pearlescent colors gave the entire habitat a desolate essence. Many people among the top hierarchy of the supernatural world loathed to even step into the place and he was no different.

Portals that connected to countless Heavens of different Pantheons, the mortal world known as Earth, and the realm of the dead;- The Underworld were placed erratically in the middle of the vacant place. Guests like him, who wanted to travel from one place to another in an instant, were welcomed by the chasm and its two powerful residents. As long as their privacy was maintained there was no reason for them to do anything to people like him. For them, beings like him were worthless.

Indra, the ruler of Heaven and one of the strongest beings in the world, hummed in lethargy, his sharp bright eyes narrowing at the vacant space in front of him as he traveled to the location that Shiva had told him to visit.

After living so many years in the comforting stillness of his home, the ruler of the Gods was ultimately growing tired of his life and wanted something, to amuse him and his heart. Creatures from different factions like Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils, and even humans were nothing but bland existences to his sluggish eyes now. The repetitive and tiring cycle of the universe around him was tasteless. His heart, which had been abstained from recreation for eons, desired something or someone who could turn his life around back to like it used to be in the past.

Sure, he had a huge family who loved him dearly but even they were not enough for him now. They all had grown up and barely spent any time with him. For them, he was a trivial part of their life now, something that he disliked very much to admit. But then again, aside from a few, Indra had barely raised any of his children from birth all by himself. They were all raised by different people in different environments, something that was a necessity for them to reach the eventual goal of their lives.

"Still, it isn't fair." He whispered, hands clenched in frustration as he recalled the visuals that he had seen on the Earth. "For being weak and bound to die someday, those humans seemed a lot happier than us Gods." His eyes narrowed down to his hands. "Especially that father who was holding his daughter in his hands." Indra could still remember it, the brilliant smile that the man had on his face as he rocked his daughter back and forth in his arms to help her sleep.

"Why can't I be like him? Even after being the ruler of heaven, I'm still less delighted compared to that mere mortal." The powerful God yelled, more at himself than anyone else. "Instead of going on these silly excursions, I should be thinking about conceiving another child with my wife. Maybe that will help-" He stopped when something odd appeared across his vision.

"Huh?" Indra blinked when saw a lifeless body floating aimlessly a few meters away from him. Wrinkling an eyebrow, he stared at the corpse with mild interest. "What is this?" Never in his past trips to the infamous place, had he seen a dead body floating in the barren rift like that.

As much as he hated it, the void around him was still a very powerful and odd place. There was a reason why only powerful people like him used it. Because if someone dared to step a foot into the place without a proper blessing or a magic shield, they were bound to die an instant but horrific death. So seeing a body floating like that in the void was a new experience for Indra. "And the body seems to be fine too, except for missing a huge portion of it of course." He immediately flew towards the afloat corpse with his energy flailing behind him in a methodical dance.

As soon as he reached the body, Indra had to stop himself from wincing in sadness when he noticed that the body was barely recognizable now. Apart from his left hand and a small portion of his face, there was not a single part in his body that managed to remain unharmed from the cruelty of the void. "Hmm…" a hot breath fled from between his lips as he thoroughly analyzed the body with a noticeable downward curve of his mouth. "Who are you?" The ruler of heaven whispered as his eyes finally landed on the face of the corpse.

The boy's face was elegant, Indra noticed. Decorated with hair as bright as the Sun and a smile so contagious that even he couldn't help but smile in return. Slowly, he lifted the body with his hands, making sure to not harm the already deteriorating body anymore. "What is this energy?" His smile widened a little when he sensed unknown yet very potent energy inside the boy's corpse. It was entirely different from all the forms of energies that he had seen in his long life.

"I could have asked him but unfortunately, he is already dead. Now the only thing I can do for him is to burn his body so that his soul can reach the afterlife." He hummed and began to contemplate. Deciding there was no use for the body here, Indra began to scorch the dead body with his energy in hope that the boy's soul could reunite with his loved ones and then could be resurrected once again. Inch by inch the body began to disappear from the void. Midway, when he was almost done with the task, Indra ceased the process. "Hmm…" He glanced at the boy's face once again. "My mind wants me to burn you but my heart says that you can fetch me out of this tedium." His whisper was followed by his finger tapping on the forehead of the boy.

"I can save you, but I-" He stopped when a surge of memories belonging to the boy invaded Indra's mind. "W-what?" His eyes widened slightly, surprise and admiration shimmering within them. The admiration only continued to increase further as the memories kept arriving. One by one, Indra went through every single memory of the boy, daring not to miss any of them. They were brilliant. "How did a child so young manage to accomplish those feats?" The ruler of heaven was stunned by the discovery.

Still stunned, Indra glanced at the boy again. "Na…ru…to…" A small smile slithered its way to his lips as he recited the name he had just heard in those memories a while ago. "I will give you a new life, Uzumaki Naruto. A life that you undoubtedly deserve to live." The kings of God whispered and picked up the body in arms.

"This new life will be a present from me for all that you have done in your past life, Naruto."

With that said, the duo vanished from the void.

- oOo-

Creation was an element that Brahma excelled at. Be it creating an entire universe for his fellow Gods and mortal humans or many other things that had helped his kin in the long run, the God of the creation never disappointed. If anyone was to ask him, he would say his creations were significant, a type of necessity that was mandated for the welfare of his devotees and fellow Gods.

Through his unparalleled power of creation, not only did Brahma manage to provide the much-needed amenities to his people but also secured a very high place within the esteemed ranks of the most powerful individuals in the supernatural world.

Surprisingly, even after attaining so much, his love for creating new things didn't diminish even a little. On the contrary, it only increased as time progressed. Being a higher God, especially one of the Trimurti, was a sedentary existence, and he was someone who despised dormancy. So, to satiate his appetite for concocting new things, Brahma continued to create things that could help his people, some important and some trivial.

While doing that, he had never imagined that he would find himself in a situation as complex as the one he was facing right now. Indra, his beloved descendant, had presented him with a strange wish of his, a wish that even he thought was going to create nothing but a disturbance in their beautiful and peaceful abode.

"Grant him a new life?" Brahma whispered while his soft fingers gently held the light flame of translucent color that belonged to the boy. "You know what you are asking, right my child?" He asked with a tone emitting confusion.

"Yes…"

The conviction on Indra's face and his admiration-filled voice told Brahma everything he wanted to know. 'He is not going to leave without having what he desires so much.' He had known him for a while now and knew very well how stubborn his descendant was. If Indra wanted something, then he would get it through any means possible. It doesn't matter how hard he had to try for it, or how low he had to go to reach the desired result. For him, the final outcome meant everything.

"But why?" It was a simple question from his side but Brahma knew Indra understood what he meant by it.

"Because I like him."

The God of creation blinked at Indra. "Like? The word holds a lot of different assertions within itself, Indra. Be specific." He said.

"This boy lived a life only a few can survive and not only that, but he also managed to save his world from a threat that could have wiped out the whole planet along with the innocent populace there," Indra answered, his voice filled with admiration and affection. "And for that, I want to respect him by giving him a new life where he can experience things that he had failed to experience in his past life." He added.

"That's all?" A new voice asked.

Turning his eyes towards the right of Brahma, Indra gulped when he saw Shiva sitting quietly on a seat made of energy. The way his lord was looking at him made Indra a little anxious but before it could get any worse, he collected himself and smiled at his lord. "Yes, my Lord." He answered.

"I sense lies in your words, Indra." Indra flinched as soon as Shiva uttered those words. ' Dear God…' He should have known better than lying in front of the most powerful being he had ever seen.

Merely being at the end of his scrutiny was enough to utterly terrify nearly every being in the world. Internally breathing deeply and gathering himself, he calmly responded;

"I'm not lying, my Lord-"

"Again… I can sense it again.", this time, Shiva interrupted him with an amused expression on his face as he sat in his flawless posture that only increased the weight of his scrutiny ever-so-hugely.

Indra was sweating profusely now. "L-Lord…" His stuttering woke up the remaining member of the fabled Trimurti.

"Speak up the truth, Indra. I promise there will be no punishment for it from our side." Vishnu, the God of preservation, lying comfortably upon a divine divan, stated.

Indra cursed himself internally. He should have chosen some other time to visit Brahma but his bad luck brought him here at the time when all of the Trimurti was having a momentous meeting. Looking at them, he sighed when he saw nothing but calmness and confusion on their faces. "I want to revive him and give him a family." He finally acknowledged what he had been pointlessly trying to hide from the eyes of the Trimurti.

"Family? Is there someone worthy in your eyes who can take care of this young man?" Brahma asked, no doubt intrigued by what he had just heard.

Indra nodded as all the three major Gods waited for his answer. "Me…" And just like that, the entire atmosphere around them changed in an instant.

"Huh?" Shiva spoke as he adjusted to his seat. The situation was turning into a fascinating spectacle and he was all for it.

"I want to raise a child again, my Lord."

Now Shiva was even more interested. "Why?" He asked the man, his voice neither too soft nor too rough.

"Because I think I have never been as involved in my children's growth as I should have been."

Vishnu, who was watching everything from his seat, smiled at the ruler of heaven. "And what makes you think you would be able to do that with this strange individual?" He asked him and smiled wider when Indra gave him a questioning look. "I meant, you are the Kings of Gods, Indra. You have thousands of duties that you need to take care of. So how are you going to raise a child with those duties?"

"I will manage, Lord Vishnu."

Vishnu nodded his head, satisfied with the answer. "And what about the place where you are going to raise him?" His question was once again met with a confused look from the Kings of Gods.

"I did not understand the question, my Lord."

Soft blue fingers positioned themselves below Vishnu's chin as he made himself more comfortable on his seat. "This child, no matter who or how great he was, is still an outsider, Indra. He can not live in our Heaven unless he ascends on his own." The room went silent as soon as he spoke those words.

"I see…" Indra whispered, his face covered by streaks of sadness and discomfort. "Then I and my wife can live with him in the mortal world until he is eligible to live-"

"Indra!" Surprisingly it was Brahma who yelled at the poor God. "Are you even noticing how naive you are sounding right now? Do you even understand how much your absence will unbalance this place? You are the one who controls heaven, Indra." Every word that he said was true but unfortunately, they had no visible effect on the distraught God.

"I understand it very well, Lord Brahma. But I still want to do it."

Brahma was enraged and was about to lash out at Indra again but was stopped by Shiva before he could even move his mouth by an inch. "Let him do what he wants, Brahma." The atmosphere around them turned thick and restless again. "If he wants to experience these trivial things for a while, then I see no harm in it." He whispered, his eyes regarding Indra with curiosity and admiration.

"No," Brahma was fast to refute the suggestion. It was too unreasonable to even ponder over, let alone accept and implement. "I can not allow him to leave Heaven. It will imbalance everything that I have created with my utmost perfection and passion." There was only one thing that Brahma hated to its very core and it was an imbalance in his world. He loathed the very concept of it.

"But-"

A single cold glare from Brahma was alone to silence Indra who was about to argue against his decree. "The discussion is over, Indra-"

"It is not." This time, it was Vishnu who decided to intervene in the argument. "You are not the only one who creates or abolishes rules here, Brahma. All of us three together give completion to the term Trimurti, so it's only acceptable if I and Shiva have our fair contribution in the final judgment too."

"Vishnu, you too?"

Vishnu shook his head in negative. "Don't worry, I'm not saying that we allow Indra to leave heaven for a mere child but I'm not against the idea of him raising a child either."

Brahma was even more confused now. "What are you trying to imply?" He asked his fellow companion who immediately smiled at him in response.

"Let the child visit heaven from time to time."

The room went silent again as all the attendees took time to digest the newly proposed idea.

"It's not a bad proposal, Brahma," Shiva whispered, no doubt amused by the fact that Vishnu once again managed to solve an argument without dragging it for too long.

Indra wasted no time in joining the discussion. "Yes, my Lord. This way I will be able to meet him occasionally while doing my duties at the same time." As much as he loathed the idea of staying away from his child once again, it was still better than not being able to meet him for months as he had to do with his precious children.

Brahma stayed silent for a while before sighing to himself. As much as he wanted to oppose the idea, he knew he could no longer go against Vishnu and Shiva's suggestions. "Fine…" He whispered as he clenched the soul in his palm with all his might.

"If that's what you all want, then I do not have any problems with it."

With that said, Brahma closed his eyes as he began to channel his powers toward the soul that was kindling within his palm.

'Hah!'

Indra's heart skipped a beat when Brahma made that unusual sound, indicating that he was almost done with his spell. ' Naruto… I will finally have someone to look after in my life now.' He thought to himself.

His light blue eyes swelled a little when the energy that was flaring wildly around Brahma engulfed the whole room, making it hard for him to see what was going around him. The excitement inside his heart increased and so did the shaking of his body. "Sachi will be so happy." For six minutes straight Indra endured what he would have termed the worst endeavor of his life. The continuous shaking, the blinding light around the room, and the uncontrollable thumping of his heart only contributed to that notion.

"Indra…"

Indra tensed and his eyes widened, anxiously waiting to get the first glimpse of his child. 'Naruto…' With that thought in his mind, he hastily trod over to Brahma, all the while evading numerous clouds of smoke that were trying to blind him again.

' Mwaahhh!'

He froze as soon as a strange yet familiar sound entered the passage of his ears. He knew what it was yet his mind refused to accept the reality in front of him. The smoke finally cleared, giving him a clear glimpse of what was lying, waiting in the arms of Brahma.

' Oh, dear…'

For the first time in centuries, Indra found himself at a loss for words. He didn't know how and why it happened but one thing was sure, out of all the outcomes he had expected after seeing the child, this one never struck his mind.

"Mwa Mwa Mwa!"

An iridescent turquoise orb as wide as the sky and as bright as a radiant flash of thunder, met a shimmering yet dazzling navy blue globe, full of mischief, as deep as an ocean yet emanating an almost ataraxic serenity.

"Na…ru…to."

"Mwa!"

Concern ignited within his heart when his child kept crying. After hearing the infant's cries for a while, Indra finally collected himself and immediately picked the child from Brahma's arms.

As Indra finally properly laid his eyes upon his son, he giddily smiled to himself. Soon, he delicately held him within his powerful yet gentle arms, and as Naruto turned to fully gaze at him, he felt that he had finally found the solution to his existential conundrum.

A meeting orchestrated by fate officially occurred, as figurative drums and conch shells rang out in the background, indicative of this legendary meeting that would surely be the heralding of a tale to reach past generations to come.

As the both of them grinned joyfully at each other, lost in their own worlds, Indra thought.

'Yes, I don't think I will be devoid of interesting times anymore. In fact, I have this foreboding feeling that it won't be long before I will be missing my boring days. But even so; now that you're here…'

"There there, it'll be alright."
