After the apocalypse the McCall-Hale pack began to travel the country. Now randomly in Georgia they have caught scent of the Walking Dead group and, in an attempt to make friends, have sent Emma-Laura Hale to gain their trust.

When Daryl and the group are living their unexpected lives on the Greene family farm in a zombie infested world and still making rounds to find Sophia, they get a surprise by a stranger named Stiles Stilinski that not only means the world to Carol, but to Daryl as well. Daryl never thought it would happen, but it did. Daryl Dixon finally fell in love.

Follows "Lingering at the Start": 6 weeks have passed since The Pack left Beacon Hills during the outbreak and they have settled into a routine of sorts in their remote lakeside cabin. But the minor peace and sometimes tranquil life they have started to build there cannot last forever. Especially not when everything in Lydia is pushing her and them eastward. *Minor Character Death*
