My writing follows the end of "the Witcher" book series, picking up right from where the author, Sapkowski, finished, so *Spoiler Warning* for Netflix and book series viewers. This a tale of family, friends, and love, but also of loss, death, and pain.

Jaskier had always known what his purpose in this word was. He had felt it within him from a young age, pressing against his heart and growing as he did. He had been given a wish, not for himself but another and he would keep it safe until the time came to pass it on. He had hoped it was for Geralt, that he would be able to help the man find love and happiness but this was cruel.

When you leave your WIPs open for too long, sometimes your characters aren't that happy about it... Short fun piece written mainly to break my writer's block and finally finish what I've started. ;-)

Dans sa sacoche qui était secouée à chaque fois que le cheval allongeait le pas, à l'instar de sa plume d'aigrette décorant son couvre-chef, se trouvait la missive qui lui avait broyé le cœur.
