What can happen in the middle of a cold winter's night?

While on a school trip to Scotland, Skylar visits Craigh na Dun and ends up traveling back to 1766. She is taken in by one Jamie Fraser and is, in turn, sucked into the adventures that await. Relationships are formed, both family and friendship; though maybe more with one "young" lad. Takes place during seasons 3 and 4.

Randall survives the battle of Culloden. Returning home to Mary, his self-control is broken. In desperation, she flees to the standing stones and unwittingly travels to 1948, where she finds safety in Boston with Claire and Frank. Roger doesn't follow Brianna through the stones. Brianna encounters Stephan Bonnet in Inverness and leaves for America on his ship the Gloriana, romance ensues. (no rape in this story, but there is violence)

Claire is accompanied by her younger sister Evelyn on her journey through the stones. Main pairings Jamie/OC and Claire/Frank.

When Claire Randall falls through the stones, another falls with her. Both women from vastly different times - Claire shortly after the end of WWII, and Lise more than a century later - yet their stories follow an oddly similar pattern. Lives interlinked by Craigh na Dun, Lise and Claire find they are strangers to themselves as well as to highlanders. Rated T for lang/rape mention.
