For my 13th Rat Patrol submission, I'm doing a Friday the 13th story. Note: This is not a horror story but a look at superstitions of various groups. Also I am not using 'Libya', since it didn't become a Kingdom until 1951. I am instead using the regions of Tripolitania, Fezzan and Cyrenaica. Finally, I just can't seem to write a story without our favorite German, Dietrich.

Up to now, we've seen camels, half-tracks, Kubelwagens, and a host of other modes of transportation on the desert. What's left? Bicycles!

The latest rumor about Dietrich prompts our guys to consider a change of career. Humor (I hope)

The Rats are sent to find and destroy a hidden cache of German munitions. Tully has misgivings about the mission, but they shall all have to race the clock when the unthinkable happens!
