On Aurora's wedding day, Maleficent notices a small change on her goddaughter: she is pregnant! Beaming with joy Aurora can't believe she and Diaval will be a family soon. Many exciting days lay before them as they prepare to be parents of a certainly restless child. It will be a sweet journey of Aurora and Diaval becoming parents for the first time.

Maleficent is stuggling with the changes after Aurora's and Phillip's wedding.

After Stefan's Death everything was peaceful. Aurora and her friends become half Faes. Not everything is okay. Prince Phil's mother want the Moor and will do anything. The Faes show up at Aurora's Castle during a storm weak, tired and some injured.

"I never said, I don't want her to marry. Just not-", he stopped himself and swallowed his rash words. "Just not the prince", she finished his sentence. Understanding flashed in her eyes. Aurora married Prince Philip. But Diaval can't be happy for her and Maleficent wants to know why. Maybe Aurora's choice was not the right one?

He couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Even after all those years he hadn't found the right words for her. For all of her. No words could cope with her beauty, her shining soul, her golden heart. Maybe he didn't even know enough words to try it. Diaval is thinking about how perfect Aurora is and how he could never keep up with her perfection.

Aurora wants to help Diaval learning to read and write. But Diaval has other things in mind what he could do with his beatiful wife.

"In the last years the things had changed. He had found a mate. Maleficent still had no idea how this had happened and if she had foreseen it, she maybe would have intervened. Their lovey-dovey billing and cooing was insufferable." Maleficent watches Diaval and his mate, wondering how times have changed.

Aurora wants to know how it feels to fly. Diaval is there to show her. "Your heart becomes light as a feather and you have butterflies in your stomach. You feel secure and almost dizzy."

Diaval spots a light in the castle of the Moors in the middle of the night. He's worried about the young queen. Why isn't she sleeping?

It's been weeks since Diaval started to avoid Aurora. But suddenly he is there again to explain himself...

Maleficent remembers the battle of Ulstead and reflects on how she was saved by Aurora's love - once again.

Though the war between fairies and humans ended in a peaceful, mutual surrender, Aurora still found herself struggling to know which half of herself she ought to follow now that Ulstead was under her command. But just like always, Phillip was her knight in shining armor, helping her find an answer even when it seemed hopeless. Maybe this "war" would end in peaceful compromise too.

When Aurora's young daughter, Crystal, takes a special liking to a certain, angry-looking goat in the castle stables, Maleficent takes it upon herself to facilitate their growing friendship, relishing every second that the goat has to put up with Crystal's overenthusiastic affection.

Maleficent is forced to deal with feelings buried long ago when Diaval confesses his feelings for her. It gets worse when she finds out that, to the Dark Fae, Diaval is already her mate, and the soul bond they share is the strongest ever felt in centuries.
