REWRITTEN AS OF 2021: Almost from the first moment they said hello, Rose Venkman's heart has belonged to Ray Stantz. Years pass and their paths diverge. In the fall of 1984, a phone call from her brother Peter brings Rose to New York, and she finds the adventure of a lifetime waiting for her: ghosts, a god hellbent on domination, and the spark of a love she's only dreamt of.

This is a rework of Nancy Venkman Part One! Nancy, Peter's baby sister, who works at the New York Public Library is swept into the world of the paranormal after an incident at her work. Quitting her job, she joins her brother and his friends on a ride one could only consider...abnormal.

Set in late October 1984 in the present, the story returns to the day that Janine suffers from a premonition about the downfall of the Ghostbusters.

A team of scientists and an expert on the occult, myths, legends, and folklore decide to become "ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction. Happy 35 years of Ghostbusting. They discover a hidden room in the basement of the twins' bookstore learning that the twins' parents were more than just simple owners of a bookstore. Instructions left by their parents send them to New York for special training by an old friend of their parents.
