Magical girl convention! It was time to have some fun! Serafall was wearing her usual magical girl outfit: a pink shirt, a pink skirt, black and pink stockings, a black glove with a white sleeve connecting to nothing, a pink hat, and a magical girl wand with a star in the centre and wings.
As for Issei, Serafall wanted him to play the part, but not as a Magical Girl. However, Issei did not prepare any costumes. So, he used his Robe of the Sage as cosplay. It was hilarious; a very powerful defensive clothing was being used as cosplay. Well, Issei didn't care.

The upper part and shoulders of the robe jacket are dark-coloured, the rest being a teal colour and the robe jacket's trimmings are gold-coloured; on each shoulder is a large, red-coloured dragon symbol, on each outer forearm are three gold-coloured strips of fabric and the robe jacket ends in large white cuffs. The outfit is finished with white gloves]
"You look handsome, Issei!" Serafall said. She was clinging to his arms as they walked through the convention. "Come on! Let's have some fun!".
Throughout the day, Serafall and Issei would go to different booths to buy manga, anime, and other Magical Girl merch they could. Serafall was super excited to open the figurines and other merch when she got home. But for now, she wants to spend some quality time with Issei.
The duo were in line to get the signature of the actress Momo Momozono. Issei was surprised that even an Adult Video Actress was on Serafall's get signature list. Quite shocking, but not anything terrible. Seeing Serafall being all excited makes Issei smile. And when Serafall got the signature, the pure happiness on her face made Issei's heart skip a beat.
After getting the signatures on Serafall's list, the duo headed to the cosplay area. Not even a moment later, Issei and Serafall were surrounded by people taking pictures. The pair then gave some poses for the people. One thing that they didn't expect was for Serafall to kiss Issei. This made all the single people cry out blood of jealousy.
Looking at Serafall, Issei knew she did that on purpose. He just rolled his eyes. Sometimes, Serafall likes being mischievous, and he doesn't mind. Issei liked seeing her happy, and she wasn't hurting anyone.
Later in the afternoon, Serafall was getting hungry. So, Issei and Serafall headed to the eating area and brought out food he had prepared days ago. Puerto Rican Crispy Rice, Creamy Mushroom Toast With Soft Egg & Gruyère, Crisp Butter Leaf Salad With Apple Vinaigrette And Tangy Blue Cheese, and for sweets, Issei made a Pistachio Rhubarb Layer Cake With Sticky Ginger Toffee.
Serafall enjoyed the food prepared by Issei. She enjoyed it without caring how much she showed it. The girls around that saw Serafall eating so much food were jealous. If they ate as much as she did, they would undoubtedly be fat.
"This is amazing!" Serafall said. She then took a spoonful of the Puerto Rican Crispy Rice. "Guh! I can't believe I won't be able to enjoy such food when I return to the Underworld!".
"Well then, I'll cook as much as you like before then," Issei said. He then wiped Serafall's lips as there were pieces of food hanging from them. "When are you returning to the Underworld?".
"Not for a while," Serafall said. She was still enjoying her meal. "Just today, I received a note from the Sirzechs telling me that there would be some sort of Peace Treaty happening here in Kuoh. It should be the day after the open house. So, in a few days".
"Well, you're always welcoming in our home," Issei said. He smiled at her. "My mom loves having you over because you're always energetic".
In the Hyoudou residence, Xenovia left the house to send off the fused Excalibur back to the church. As for the others, they were having a nice chat with Miki, who enjoyed showcasing Issei's younger days.
"This one is when he was and tripped on his foot," Miki said. She was laughing at the memory. She then moved on to a new picture. "This the first time Issei met Irina".
Irina was smiling at the memories she had with Issei. It was one of her regrets. If it weren't for her family moving, she would have more wonderful memories of Issei.
Akeno, Koneko, Asia, and Sona were looking at the photos with everyone. Akeno looked at baby Issei and laughed at how small and cute he was. Koneko was…well, Koneko. She wasn't showing any emotions.
As for Sona, when she saw Issei's baby pictures, she wondered what it would be like if she had a child with him. Would the baby have her hair or Issei's? Would the baby be as tall as Issei, or would it be short like she is?
For sweet innocent Asia, her thoughts weren't so innocent. Seeing the baby pictures, she wanted to have five kids with Issei while doing it in many different positions. If anyone of the people knew what she was thinking, she could be teased mercilessly.
"Wow, Issei was very different when he was younger," Akeno said. She was looking at an Issei that didn't have the confidence he had now. "It's quite a contrast to the current him".
"It is, isn't it?" Miki said. She still remembered when Issei started changing. When he was ten years old, he started doing weird things. As it turns out, he was doing magic and sword training. "His changes all happened when Irina left. He started doing weird things. At first, we didn't know what he was up to, but when he came home saddened, he told us everything".
"What happened?" Sona asked. She was curious. "Or who happened that caused Issei to be saddened".
"That day, Issei was training in a forest near a shrine," Miki said. "Suddenly, he heard footsteps. It was the first time Issei had met with the Supernatural. The ones that he met were Fallen Angels.
They were chasing a mother and her daughter. He told me how he couldn't save them when he got home. Since that day, Issei became more serious with his training. Before, he was only doing it to forget Irina moving away".
Nobody said anything, especially Akeno. She knew that the person being chased in the story was her and her mother.
"Anyway," Miki said. She shook off the negativity around her. "How about I show you a happier memory? The first time Issei went to a birthday party. It was a disaster".
Everyone was once again enjoying Issei's baby pictures. As for Issei? He and Serafall were inside the Mirror Dimension. When Issei took a look at the item he got from the Gacha earlier, he thought it was a perfect gift for Serafall.
"Here, Sera," Issei said. He handed the item to Serafall, which was a small reddish-pink orb. "All you have to do is say 'Raising Heart, Set up!'. Then you'd go into a set-up sequence".
"He-he-he-he-he! This will be so much fun!" Serafall said. She then took Raising Heart from Issei. "Raising Heart! Set up!".
Serafall was then covered in light. Looking around, she saw that she was inside Raising Heart. Serafall was guided to what she wanted her outfit to look like. She didn't want anything new, so she designed it after her Magical Girl outfit.
Once the set-up was done, Issei saw that her clothes didn't change as they looked the same. But on Serafall's hand was Raising Heart. It had a white shaft, a semi-circular head with a reddish-pink sphere in its centre.
"Hello, my master," Raising Heart said. "I am Raising Heart, and I'm here to assist you".
"Oh! It can talk!" Serafall said. She was rubbing her cheeks on Raising Heart. "What can you do?".
"I can do many things, but I mostly regulate your magical energy for efficient usage," Raising Heart said. "I have an abundant amount of spells stored in my system. Thanks to Hyoudou Issei, I gain the ability to use a special type of ability known as Mystic arts. However, using it would require more power than ordinary spells".
"Y-You gave it the ability to use Mystic Arts!" Serafall said. She has tried to learn it from him, but she couldn't as she couldn't tap into the Extra-Dimensional energy. "You found a way to let me use it?!".
"I did, but as you heard, the demerit is quite something," Issei said. He knew long ago that he could enchant an object to use Mystic Arts, but he didn't want to. But now, Serafall was someone he had known for two years and someone he cared about. "I hope you like it".
"I do!" Serafall said. She then started kissing him. "I can't wait to test it out!".
"You have to be careful, Sera," Issei said. He knew that she was strong, and her Magical reserves were high, but the Raising Heart's usage of Mystic Arts would drain massive amounts of energy. "Don't let your guard down, alright?".
"I promise I won't!" Serafall said. She then faced away from Issei and into an empty area. She communicated with Raisin Heart and fired a spell. "By the Flames of Faltine!".
A magic circle appeared at the tip of Raisin Heart, and it fired the Flames of Faltine. The destructive power matches Issei's. But the amount of energy it drained from Serafall was high. A single spell was able to use one percent of her reserve. That's a lot!
"You're right. Using Mystic Arts spells would take a toll on me if I use it recklessly," Serafall said. She felt the amount drained from her. "I would need to manage my output better. Otherwise, I could get in trouble".
"You don't always have to use the Mystic Arts," Issei said. "You can also record your spells on it and use that instead. Alternatively, you could use the prebuilt spell, such as Divine Buster, Hoop Bind, Starlight Breaker, Axel Fin, Hyperion Smasher, etc.".
"Interesting…" Serafall said. She thought maybe she could record other people's spell and use it for herself. "He-he-he! Can you imagine what would happen if I found a way to copy other people's magic abilities?".
"Sera! No!" Issei said. He thought giving Raising Heart to Serafall might not have been a good idea. "Don't do that! That could cause a war. Only do it to your enemy".
Serafall knew Issei was right, but she was still unhappy that she couldn't do what she was planning. Thankfully, even if Serafall tries to copy other people's magic, it wouldn't always work, especially for those with a bloodline requirement.
