The year is 1995, and an asteroid has crashed near the Tiber River in Italy. The seemingly innocuous event has actually released a deadly alien substance, which will come to be known as Tiberium. The arrival of the deadly yet useful Tiberium will spark a World War, and divide the nations of Earth between the Global Defense Initiative and the mysterious Brotherhood of Nod.

During the early phases of the Third World War, the United States of America was on its knees. During this time, the nation needed help from anywhere it can get it.
