After Korea, Hawkeye and Margaret are trying to get on with their lives. Apart from each other and from the people they came to think of as family. Trying to find their place in a world where nothing seems familiar anymore. It's hard. Exhausting. And neither of them can forget that thing between them. The thing that clicked, kept shifting and grew strong. The thing that holds.

Colonel Blake has perished, Trapper is given his orders, and Hawkeye is on R&R in Tokyo when the casualties hit. The 4077th is now down three surgeons, with only Frank Burns present. AU - what if Major Winchester was sent to the 4077th instead of Captain Hunnicutt?

Seeing her new husband off at the station a week later, Margaret tells herself not to cry. Calling her father, she tells him she is going to apply as a M*A*S*H nurse again adding, "I just have one favor. I need you to make sure my husband is put in the same unit I am." Al ecstatically agrees before yelling, "Husband?" A retelling of Of All the Camps in All of Korea.

Maxine's first day at the M*A*S*H 4077th wasn't what she'd expected. She did spend it in the OR- not as the nurse she enlisted to be, but as a patient.

Claudia Rester helps out during Carry On, Hawkeye and later is permanently stationed at 4077. As a great surgeon she fits in nicely, but she also keeps many secrets. Hawkeye could never resist a mysterious woman and gets very close to her. Claudia wants them to be just friends (due to a heart-breaking reason). But life never goes according to plans. Army psychiatrist Major Emily Weiss arrived at 4077 to evaluate a soldier suffering from battle fatigue. But her services will be required for much longer. After Hawkeye is assaulted in the showers, she utilizes everything she learnt to try to help him cope. Will it be enough? Chapters 1,2 rated T, but the story M to be safe, mentions of rape - not too graphic, mainly just hints.

It's Thanksgiving, but what does the personnel of the 4077 MASH have to be thankful for? What could possibly be in this large care package that Winchester has received from Boston? Why does Klinger seem so eager to clean out the stable while Colonel Potter takes a ride on Sophie? Takes place during season six.

Hawkeye is not adjusting as well to being home as he expected. His thoughts are intrusive and his heart is wandering the states unheard from, so he thinks. Story dives in a little faster in the first chapter but will slow in the upcoming ones. Rated M for for future content.

Alternate ending to the episode(s): Comrades In Arms- The night Hawkeye and Margaret get lost in enemy territory, something much more dire goes wrong. They get discovered by a North Korean soldier and find themselves in a desperate struggle between life and death. One is stripped of her freedom, and both their lives are changed forever.
