So After Releasing the Chapter of my Fanfic I got asked questions about Pairing, about why I used an OC, just some general Stuff. And I would like to answer them.
First: Why I didn't use Sai and used an OC instead - Sai is a character that I have a Love Hate relationship with, Sai plays a role in the Original Story that I think is important so bringing him in sooner makes no sense.
Second: Pairings, currently I don't have any for Naruto, I have one in mind for him, but it's not official, but as for other Pairings, I'm currently Set on Sasuke and Tenten, and Either Lee with Either Sakura or Ino. I also have one for Hinata but it will not be with Naruto. Also at this moment in time the relationship between Kurenai and Asuma may be different.
Third: to the Guest that asked about Naruto being able to change Gender like Loki, I wish I thought of that Sooner, but no Naruto will be One Gender.
Forth: To the Guest that Asked about Naruto not being able to read he is a ninja they need to know how to read.
And to the Reviewer 'LadyElwyn' that's what I was Planning anyway.
Also one Quick Note as well i've aged up the character slightly instead of the main cast being 12 to 13 they are 14 to 15, mainly do to if I ever want to do Lemons in the future they wont feel too weird for me

Part 2 - First C Rank
Forest Of Death
It has been One Month Since Naruto Became Kurenai's Apprentices, it's been a hard month for him, First getting Settled into his new Place, then all the studying she makes him do, and on top of all the Chakra control exercises.
Naruto is standing on the side of a waterfall Fighting Fighting his Sensei, ever since he Mastered Wall and Water Walking, she has been sparring with him everyday, this is something that she has gotten better at. At first she would beat Naruto, since she has more experience, but recently he has been getting better with his Clone learning the Maelstrom Style, he has been getting better, to the point Kurenai has been getting lessons from Gai, to keep up.
But today Naruto is getting his arse handed to him. Ever since he started learning Waterfall Walking, he has been struggling with it. He loses concentration easily because of the rushing water. "Come on Naruto! If you Lose you know what means? No Ramen For a Week." She Taunts him.
This gets Naruto going, the Threat of no ramen gives him just what he needed, and he breaks through the block, and goes on the counter attack, Finally Drawing his daggers, Kurenai Drawing 2 Kunai, they clash After 2 hours, Naruto is Tired but Kurenai is the first to just off the Waterfall, She Smiles at him "congratulations Naruto, You have Completed the final Chakra Control Exercise."
Naruto Jumps down and shouts "Yatta!" whilst still in the Air, as he lands he falls onto his back, Tired, "in Victory… I'll make you that… takowasa…, you like so… much. Since… today is… my Cooking day" he says through quick Breathes.
"I'll like that very much, Naruto." she says with a Wet smile, and a Slight Blush that Naruto doesn't notice. "But remember just because you have completed it doesn't mean you have mastered it you still need to be able to stand on the side without being dragged down, but as a reward I'll teach you your First genjutsu since you have the required chakra control now." Naruto jumps to his feet ready to learn. "The Genjutsu is Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique) . It's one of the more Simple ones". She shows him the Hand Seals, and how much chakra is needed, which he can tell, with his improved Chakra Control, his Sensor Abilities have skyrocketed, he can tell where someone is, what they are feeling and they Chakra Levels as well as how much Chakra a Jutsu is using.
She Cast Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu on Naruto so he can see what it does, his Worst Fear is becoming Alone, locked in a Dark room all by himself. He breaks it in an instant, slightly Panicked but she doesn't ask questions on what he saw, not wanting to pry. "Are you ok Naruto?" he nods.
After he composes himself he begins to practice on Clones. And after about a Hour he gets it down, Kurenai is shocked it took her Almost 3 days to get it down, and he gets it in an hour. Then she remembers he learnt the 'Kage Bunshin no Jutsu' in only 2 hours, and he is currently practising the Jutsu with and on clones.
She get him to use it on her, he does the hand Seals and touch on her arm he cast it, what she sees terrifies her, She always thought her biggest fear was Losing those she held Precious to her, but what she see is more Scary to her, She sees the Kyūbi no Yōko Burst out of Naruto, but that not killing the Boy but the Villages Killing him after woulds as the Kyūbi no Yōko watches and laughs.
She Breaks it and hugs Naruto, this shocking the boy, but he hugs her back telling her that it's ok. Not knowing what she saw but whatever it was spooked her. After a few minutes she lets go "that was worse than the last time it was used on me, Like it was Amplified, is that because of the Kyubi, it felt so real." "I'm sorry Naruto, but that was a very Strong Illusion. It's not normally that Strong it must be because of your Strong chakra." she says composing herself.
"It's ok Sensei. But at least I learnt my first Genjutsu," he says with a Big Smile, that picks her mood up instantly. "Well Since you did, As a reward We will take the rest of Today off and tomorrow We will take a C-Rank mission." that Makes him smile ever wider.
Naruto's Apartment
That night, the two are sat around Naruto's dinner table, Naruto instead of his Shinobi Garb, he is in Loose fitting Orange T-Shirt that is a bit big for him, almost hanging off one of his shoulders and a pair of Orange short shorts that show off his Slightly feminine Body. Kurenai instead of in her Shinobi Garb, is in that of Loose fitting Ruby coloured long sleeve top, and Blue Joggers, with her Hair tied into a loose side Ponytail. Both eating takowasa but with Kurenai Drinking Shōchū.
They are talking about what Kurenai is reading, mainly about Uzushiogakure Since she wants to plan a trip with Naruto as a Training and Educational Trip. Naruto Tells her about how he is learning more cooking techniques, and how he convinced Teuchi to teach him how to make noodles when they get back from the mission.
Kurenai is Staring at Naruto, "Naruto, Your hair has gotten quite long hasn't it? Must be from all the Chakra Control Exercises with you channelling chakra all over your body it must have had the side effect of growing your hair."
Naruto gets up and looks into a mirror in his living room. His hair has grown to be at his shoulders "It has, I never noticed. Do you think I should cut it?" she shakes her head, "I think you should leave it, you suit it." Giving him another Wet Smile.
Naruto gets a slight blush but hides it well. The two talk for a few more hours Laughing, Naruto washes up after they finish eating. As Kurenai Orders an Early night since they will be taking a C-Rank tomorrow.
Hokage's Tower - Mission Room
The Following Morning Kurenai and Naruto are Stood in the Mission Room, in front of Iruka and the Hokage, Naruto back into his Ninja Garb, with a Slight difference he now has his hair tied up into a small ponytail, and he has a sealing Scroll on his lower back.
With a Bright Smile The Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Greets them "Good Morning, Kurenai-san and Naruto-kun, Here for another Exciting D-Rank Mission?"
"Not today Hokage-Sama" the Raven Hair Jonin responds, "I think Naruto is ready for his First C-Rank Mission, As he has completed his Chakra control Training and has his First Genjutsu 'Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu', so I think he is ready for something more challenging." She finishes with a Huge Smile, Proud of her students.
Naruto has a Huge Smile on his face, and a Slight Blush from the Prase. "Well if you think he is ready." getting a nod from her. He looks through the pile of Scrolls, "this one should do, They are a Group of Bandits Close to the Borders between The Land of Fire and Land of Rivers. Your job is to get rid of them." he hands the scroll to Kurenai. "Hai" both of them reply. "Naruto lets us head to the South gates." They both Bow and leave the room.
"Who would have guessed that Naruto would be the first one of my Class to get a C-Rank." Iruka Says with a Smile Slightly Worried but happy for the Kid. getting a chuckle from the old Kage.
Streets of Konoha
As two are heading to the gates they bump into Team 10 Lead by Sarutobi Asuma. "Hello Kurenai, how are you doing?" the older man Says with his cigarette in his mouth. "As he looks down, and this must be your Apprentice?"
"Hello Asuma, i'm good and yes this is my Apprentice Uzumaki Naruto" she replies to the man, Naruto Smiles at the Man. "Wait, That's Naruto?" Ino says with a shocked look on her face. "But you look so different. When did your Hair get so Long and What happened to the Orange Jumpsuit." she questions. "Damn, Naruto is looking hot now. No, Ino get that thought out of your head."
Naruto gives a cute smile "Yes, it's me Ino-chan. As for the 'Kill me Orange' Jumpsuit, I felt like a change, so I chose some clothes that allow me to honour the Uzumaki clan." this getting a shocked nod from the girl, "also Hello Choji, Shika."
The Pineapple Haired boy just thinks "Troublesome Blonde" and nods. whilst Choji Waves at him. "Are you two taking a D-Rank Mission?" Asuma Asks then Takes a Drag from his cigarette.
"No, we are out on a C-Rank, I think he is ready by now." she says in a Calm Tune but staring Daggers at the cigarette in his mouth, coursing him to put it out. "Sensei, Why have we done a C-Rank Mission yet? If Naruto is getting one" Ino Barked at her Sensei. Coursing Naruto to Stifle a Giggle. Shikamaru Picking up on it, he narrows his Eyes "there it is again, the Giggle. Is Naruto having a giggle, is he a Girl. I know he has feminine Features but is he doing it to throw people Off." Shikamaru thinks to himself.
As Asuma is trying to calm Ino Down, Kureni and Naruto sneak off, heading to the gate. Waving bye to Shikamaru and Choji.
2 hours Outside of Konoha
As the two are on the road, Kurenai is going over another Genjutsu with Naruto, Kokuangyo no Jutsu (Bringer-of-Darkness Technique), it takes him a Few Hours to get the Jutsu Down.
"Now Remember Naruto, Applying a Genjutsu is all about being subtle, deception is the Art of the Ninja, and Genjutsu Masters know how to apply one without hand seals, and when you get good Enough a Simple wave of the Finger is all you will need." She tells him, him talking every word in. This Being the best feeling a teacher could have.
"Sensei, I was wondering when creating my own Genjutsus what would be the best thing to do?" Naruto asks. "Well that all depends on the Illusion you are going for. Basic Illusion generally only focuses on 1 or 2 senses but More Advanced one can target up to all 6. Sight, Sound, Smell, Hearing, Touch, and Chakra." telling her Young Student.
"Do you have some plans on creating one, since you can now use two?" asking curiously. "Maybe, I have an Idea, but don't know what to do yet." replying to her question.
She notes, since she started training him, he has started to show his true potential, and slowly The Walls that he has built up are coming down. The Mask he wears to protect himself from others has become Cracked and broken.
She Feels like if any other Jonin got Naruto he would still be this loud boy that hides behind this Fake Smile. This brings a small half smile to her face, "I wonder if I should have help him soon, considering how alone he always was"
Four Days Later Forest on the Edge of Hi no Kuni
Naruto and Kurenai are looking down at a Clearing that has about 30 Bandits in, "I can Sense 30 normal bandits, and 2 Genin Level Bandits." Naruto says with a Slightly Worried look on his face.
"Are you Nervous, Naruto?" Kurenai asked her Blond Apprentice. "Not really, it's more of the fact That I will have to kill. I know it's part of the Job but…" "with everything that Village has called you, you Might think you will because the monster People think you are." She says Bringing the boy in for a Side hug. "But you are not a Monster Naruto, the Village Tried to turn you into one but they Failed. You are Strong, Stronger than any of them."
After a few minutes Naruto Pulls away. Head Cleared, "So what's the plan Sensei?" "You surround them with Clones, and make sure you know one Escapes. and I'll attack from a range." he nods.
"We should attack at night, from the Information that came with the Mission." the Young Blond stats. "because it looks like they are ready for a Party." Kurenai Agrees with her young Apprentice.
Bandit Camp 11pm
The Party is in full Swing, Naruto has set up 60 Clones around the Camp, he has Henge his Blond Hair Black, and put his hood up, and lifted a Face mask that covers his nose that normally around his neck. His first Kill comes from a Clone, Killing a Man who is using the bathroom.
Naruto then moves from Tent to tent Killing anyone who is sleeping, Going from shadow to shadow, Killing and Hiding the Bodies, Kurenai Watching from a distance, impressed with his resolve, Most Ninja Throw up after they first Kill.
After 15 minutes there are only 10 Bandits left, that's including the two Genin level bandits. The group is sitting around a fire Drinking. "Ok time to try this" Naruto thinks to himself, He lets out a Pulse of chakra towards the group, Waves some Hand Seals "Kokuangyo no Jutsu" the group goes Bind as Naruto Rushes them Killing the 8 Normal bandits and 1 of the Genin Level bandits.
But the other one breaks free, a Slightly Taller man about 6ft1 Blue Leaf shinobi Clothes, With his Headband around his neck with a Line through it. "Well Kid to think that you would Kill my Men and my Brother, Nice Trick that won't Work Again." he says in a Gravelly voice, that's when he Feels a dagger in his Stomach Looking down he sees Naruto there. "How?" He falls as Naruto Pulls his dagger out, "Furasshu Suteppu Sutoraiku" (Flash Step Strike) Naruto Whispers.
Naruto Watches the man die as Kurenai comes out of the Woods, "Good Job Naruto." Naruto does respond to her. After a minute. "Naruto?" Naruto pulls down his Mask and Throws up. Kurenai expected this but was glad it happened after the mission. After a minute "im ok Sensei. Clones Dispose of the bodys".
It's silent as Naruto sits down by the fire by the Orders of his teacher. As he feels his Clones disappear, "it's done, what now." he asks, "we get rid of the camp then head to our camp." Naruto nods, creating 10 more clones to dismantle the camp, as Kurenai and Naruto head back to their camp.
Team Kurenai Campsite 4am
Naruto Wakes up, it's still dark outside, Kurenai is asleep next to him in the tent, he smiles, happy she trusts him this much. Leaving the tent, seeing another Naruto by a Smokeless Fire. "Nothing to report, Prime," Clone Naruto tells the Original. Naruto nods and misspells the clone.
He takes a seat by the Fire and thinking of the Nights Events, he feels disgusted with himself, not because he killed, not because he feels like a Monster for killing, but because he slept like a log. He didn't see the face of those he killed, he doesn't even remember them.
As he sits there by the fire, he remembers his sensei's words "you are not a Monster Naruto, the Village Tried to turn you into one but they Failed. You are Strong, Stronger than any of them." he shakes his head "No, i'm not a Monster". He slaps his checks. "Time to finish this Genjutsu" he thinks full of confidence.
Team Kurenai Campsite 7am
Kurenai begins to wake as the sun is hitting the tent, she Stretches and looks down to her side and sees that Naruto's bag is empty. She touches it feeling that it is cold, she turns her head, as she hears rustling from outside.
Opening the Tent She sees 3 Naruto's, 1 Making Breakfast and 2 Looking like they are practacing Genjutsu. "Morning Sensei" says the Naruto making breakfast, as he turns giving her a Warm Smile.
"Morning Naruto" returning the Smile. "How long have you been awake for?"
"A few hours, Woke up and couldn't turn back over" he tells her, as she get a worried look on her face, "im Fine, I think I just Need a Nice Warm Bath." he says with a chuckle, "Washing in a River is fine but I think I need a Deep Clean".
That gets her to smile as well, She was a lot like him after her first kill. Knowing this She feels better. She sits down as Naruto hands her some Rabbit that he caught. "I wish I could bring some Ramen with me. Rabbits nice and all but I miss my Noodles." he says with sad Anime tears.
"Well when we get back, we can go and get Ramen. for a Job Well done." She says but Feels like she is going to regret that. That stops the Anime Tears. After Finishing Breakfast and breaking up camp, they look ready to head out. When Naruto Spots a Messenger Hawk.
Calling it down Kurenai reads the message and sighs, "we have got another mission to back up another team, since we are the closest. Looks like your Bath and Ramen will have to wait."
Naruto Looks down, and Sighs "which team are we going to back up?"
Border to Nami no Kuni
Team 7 currently standing at the Dock waiting for their back after Receiving Word that another team is Close. Inuzuka Hena and Mishka, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, Hatake Kakashi and Tazuna, a grey-haired, bespectacled man with a large beard are waiting and Sakura is getting impatient.
"Sensei, where is this other team at? We have been waiting for ages." Sakura shouts at her Sensei. "They are on the way, they should be here in a few minutes" He tells his Pink Haired Genin with an Eye Smile.
Sasuke gives a "hm", Hena just looks bored and Tezuna looks a bit jumpy. "Sensei, Who is the Team that is coming to Assist us?" Hena asked with her head tilted. "You will see when they get here, Don't worry they will be here soon." giving his other Student an Eye Smile.
10 Minutes Pass and Mishka starts to growl and get on the defensive. A few seconds later Kurenai and Naruto Drop out of a Tree. "Kakashi, I'm surprised you waited for us." the Raven Haired Jonin says.
"Of course we waited, Kurenai." He gives her an Eye Smile. "And this must be your Apprentice Naruto, it's a Pleasure to meet you.". "Same to you Hatake-San" Naruto says with a bow. "Please call me Kakashi. And this is my Team Inuzuka Hena and Mishka, Uchiha Sasuke, and Haruno Sakura."
Hena gives him a Small Bow, Sakura gives Kurenai a Bow and Scowls at Naruto and Sasuke gives a "hm''. "It's good to meet you Three," Kurenai said with Smile. "Nice to Meet you Inuzuka-San, Banshee, teme." giving that a Smile.
Sakura is about to jump in but is cut off by Kakashi "and this is our client Tazuna, the Bridge builder." Tazuna steps forward "now that we are all here, can we get going?"
"Sure thing Tazuna-san", Kurenai says before Kakashi can.
Ocean
"What Thick Mist, I can't See ahead." Says a Bored Naruto. The Boat Driver Nods, "We should See the Bridge soon. The Country of Waves is at the Base of the Bridge."
As they see the Bridge come into view Kurenai speaks up in a Whispered voice, "wow, that bridge is beautiful." "That it is Sensei." Naruto Agrees.
Nami no Kuni
As they reach the land of Waves they get they undetected, making they way through the Town and note how dead it is, but move throw it, as they leave they take up a formation Naruto in the Front, Kakashi behind him, Sasuke, Hena and Sakura in a Triangle formation behind with Tazuna in the middle, with Kurenai in the back.
As they are walking the Mist seems to be getting thicker. Naruto is on High Alert as he can sense Chakra in the Mist, he then feels two sets of Emotions, One of Enjoyment of the Hunt, and the other is that of Concern of the other.
Naruto Stops the Group, "One Wolf, One Ravens" That being a Old Uzumaki Saying for Enemies, Kurenai Understands and so does Kakashi, but with Kakashi getting a Flashback to When he did missions with Kushina.
Naruto Eyes go wide as he shouts "EVERYONE GET DOWN!" They Drop as Spinning Blade Come flying throw the Air, and embed in a Tree. as a masked man drops on to a blade "Well, Well, Well, if it isn't Sharingan no Kakashi and Genjutsu Mistress of Konoha. Aren't I lucky?"Naruto Heads to the Group protecting Tazuna. Sasuke thinks "Sharingan no Kakashi, Does he have a Sharingan, and if he does did he steal it."
"Momochi Zabuza, Kirigakure no Kaijin." as Kakashi Reveals his Sharingan. "Should I feel Honoured that you are using the Sharingan this early but it wont help." Zabuza Taunts.
Zabuza jumps off his sword, grabbing it and landing on the water as he puts it on his back "now let's end this talking, Because I have to kill that Old Man." Tazuna looks Scared, as Genin Take up Formation around him With Kurenai as support.
"But Kakashi, it Seems Like I'll have to take you out first." as he gets into a position and Uses "Kirigakure no Jutsu" (Hiding in Mist Technique). "Zabuza is an Expert in the Silent Kill, He will come after me First." Kakashi States.
As the Mist gets thicker Zabuza Throws his Voice as Naruto Closes his Eyes. "Eight choices, Liver, Lungs, Spine, Clavicle, Neck, Brain, Kidney and Heart. Which one should I go after?" Zabuza Releases a Massive Wave of KI (Killing intent), it Effects Sasuke, Hena and Sakura. Sasuke Starts to Panic, that's when Kakashi Calms him Down with a Eye Smile "Sasuke Don't Worry, I'll Protect you Guys even if it kills me. I don't Let my Comrades Die." that puts them at ease.
As Zabuza drops Down Going in for the Kill, Naruto Opens his Eyes Drawing a Dagger from his back in his Left hand and cutting Throw his Water clone, in Naruto's Other hand he throws 3 Senbon at the Zabuza that is behind Kakashi hitting him twice in the arm on once in the stomach, Zabuza jumps onto the water, as Kakashi Rushes him.
Kurenai Looks over at Naruto who is panting as he spits out a bit of blood from his Bleeding lip. "He bit down on his lip to get rid of the Fear he was feeling." a Small wet Smile form on her face. "Good Job Naruto." she Whispers to him.
Kakashi and Zabuza start Fighting on the water, not giving each other time to breathe. But with Zabuza's Overwhelming Strength and speed. He captures Kakashi, in a 'Suirō no Jutsu' (Water Prison Technique), Kakashi Curses to himself "Damn He is Stronger Than I Expected".
Naruto Shoots a Look at his Sensei and she nods to him. Naruto Creates some hand Seals and casts a Genjutsu he has been working on, "I hope this Works." it activates as Zabuza Pulls the two Senbon out of his arm. "That Hurts, Geki".
He looks down as he feels the Water Move and coming towards him is a Giant Orange Furred clawed hand towards him, He Surges his Chakra "Kai" but the hand is still coming at him. He jumps back Dodging the hand Drawing his Sword Swing at the Hand but Misses. This Frees Kakashi, Kakashi is confused. "What is he doing?"
As Zabuza Pulses again "Kai" and the hand Vanishes, "Nice Genjutsu, Double Layering it was a nice touch, Genjutsu Mistress of Konoha" Zabuza compliments her, "but I prefer Ninjutsu" as he starts Hand Seals, with Kakashi copying.
As they go Through the forty-four Hand Seals and cast "Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu" (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique), the Two Dragons Collide cancelling each other out.
As they go back into Clash, this time they are Even in both Movements and Strength, "Something is Wrong" Zabuza thinks to himself Breaking off. As Kakashi Copies every movement Zabuza is doing, Zabuza thinks to himself "My Movements, He's Completely…" "Reading Them." Kakashi Says out loud.
"What? Did he Read my Mind? Damn! That…"
"Freaky eye Is Pissing me Off! Right?" Kakashi says in a Taughing manner.
"Heh… all You're doing is copying me…"
"You Can't Beat me you Monkey Bastard!" they both say at the same time.
"Me?... That's Not Possible! Is this another Genjutsu?" He thinks to himself, as Kakashi Forms Hand seals and uses "Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu" (Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique). As Zabuza is struck with the Jutsu.
Zabuza hits a Tree as Kurenai Pelts him with Kunai, a Week Zabuza coughs out "How? Can you See The Future?". Kakashi standing in front of him "yeah, you're going to die."
As two Senbon Fly Throw the air and strike him in the next, everyone looks towards the direction of the Senbon and sees someone Dressed as a Kiri Hunter Nin, "Hehe You're Right, He's Dead."
Kakashi checks to see if Zabuza is Dead, and can tell he is, "Thank you Very much. I have been searching for the opportunity to kill zabuza for a long time." the mask individual says. Before taking Zabuza's body and leaving.
Kakashi pulls down his headband. But Naruto is still on Alert. Not trusting that Hunter-Nin if it was one. "Now, we have to get Tazuna-san back home. Let's go." Kakashi says before dropping to a knee.
His Team rushed over to him "Damn, I used up too much chakra." Kakashi says nonchalantly. Naruto walks over to him putting his hand on his back and Transfers some Chakra to him. Kakashi Feels full of Energy "I gave you some of my Chakra, it should help until we get to the Old man's house."
"Naruto-San, where did you learn how to do that and I didnt know we are the same Chakra type?" Kakashi Asks. "im learning Genjutsu, I need to know how to transfer Chakra from one person to another, and I have 'Special Chakra' so it does matter what type you are.'' He says hoping Kakashi can figure it out.
Tazuna's House
When they get to Tazuna's house they are greeted by his Daughter Tsunami, a beautiful Woman with Long Blue hair. They are shown to a few rooms and told they can stay in those, Kurenai asks for a Room for her and her Student says it would be better if they stay together, but she doesn't completely trust them.
They are given a Private room, as they are getting settled Naruto Keeps Looking out the Window, "Naruto What is Wrong?" the red Eyed Woman Asks. "I don't think Zabuza is dead. Senbon Aren't normally used for killing, you taught me that." he says and Kurenai's eyes go wide, "and Hunter Nin Normally Destroy the Bodys on Sight. Not take them way"
