The next few days went a lot smoother for Fey. With the initial awkwardness virtually gone, her classmates were slowly warming up to her. Even Iida stepped up as class rep' to help her feel more welcome in class. The atmosphere was a lot more bearable, enjoyable even, and Fey had to admit that she was enjoying all of the positive attention she was getting.

Of course, there were still a few people that weren't quite over the fact that they had seen her practically naked a few days earlier. The biggest offender being Mineta, of course. His persistent staring and vulgar comments were annoying to say the least, but Fey was used to that kind of attention. Mineta hadn't been the worst offender she had encountered, but the fact that she was plagued by it at school made things more uncomfortable. At the Lush, it was "expected" in a way...

Some days after her big debut at U. A., their teacher announced that the class would be getting their hero costumes. Plus, they'd be going into one of the training grounds with the one and only All-Might. Everyone, including Fey, was pumped. Although Fey didn't know who most of the pro heroes from Japan were, she did know one hero in particular: All-Might. Not only were they going to be taught by the number one hero, he was also going to have them do a battle trial so that they could test out their costumes. After being given briefcases containing each student's costume, they all made their way to the changing rooms to put them on. They would then assemble in one of the training areas around the campus for their next test.

One by one, everyone stepped through the door wearing their costumes. Fey was one of the last ones to enter, having stopped outside to take a breath before entering. She was nervous. She had never worn anything like this before and wearing her suit made her a bit emotional. She really wished her father could have seen her wearing it. After taking a few moments to calm herself down, she crossed the doors leading into the training area, where her classmates were waiting. Immediately, everyone turned their gazes towards her and many went to meet her.

"Oh wow Fey! Your costume is amazing!" cheered Mina as she approached.

"Yeah seriously Fey! You look like a fairy!" Ochako chimed in. "But a badass fairy."

Fey laughed as she scratched her neck in embarrassment.

"Aww thanks you guys," she replied.

"You look quite striking Fey," a voice came from behind the two girls.

A tall man clad in white armor from head to toe approached them calmly. From his voice and his stature, Fey guessed that it was Iida.

"Oh wow Iida," she said, looking at him up and down in admiration. "Your costume is really incredible!"

He laughed behind his helmet, placing his hands on his hips in a confident pose.

"Thank you," he said simply. "It's modeled after my brother's."

"Yeah Iida's brother is Ingenium!" Uraraka clarified.

Fey felt a bit embarrassed not knowing who that was. She picked at the feathers in the back of her neck nervously, turning her eyes away bashfully.

"Aah I don't actually know who that is... sorry," she apologized.

She thought for sure she had offended Tenya by not knowing who the person he clearly looked up to even was, but Iida was all too happy to tell her all about him. Ochako even pulled up a video of Ingenium on her phone and Fey clearly understood why Tenya had such pride in his brother. He had more than 60 side-kicks helping him and he had saved countless lives. A worthy role-model indeed.

"Your brother's quite impressive Iida," she said, smiling up at him.

"He is," he agreed. "I aspire to be just as heroic as him. One day, I'll become a pro just like him."

Even though she couldn't see his face, Fey knew that Tenya was absolutely beaming with pride. This made her smile even more. She could relate to him aspiring to be like a member of his family.

Their chatter was interrupted when Midoriya finally joined the class. He was wearing what seemed like a hand-made costume, not something the school would have produced. The overall design wasn't bad, but the hood was really what made it... special. But Izuku seemed really proud of it and ultimately, that's all that mattered in the end. Shortly after, they were interrupted again by the main attraction arriving: All-Might himself. Fey had only seen him on TV, and as expected, he was way bigger in person. She stared in awe as he gave a short speech and explained the ins and outs of their next trial.

"You'll be separated into teams of two," he began explaining. "Only two teams will face each other at a time. One will be heroes, the other will have to play the role of villains."

The whole class seemed surprised by the last part, including Fey. She wasn't expecting having to play the role of a villain in hero school of all things, but it made sense. If she was going to fight bad guys in the future, she would have to know how they thought in order to better predict their movements.

"The teams have already been assigned randomly," All-Might announced. "I'll have the screen here show you which teams you'll be a part of."

With a press of a button, a holographic screen appeared beside him, showing the different teams. Fey searched for her name on the board and was relieved to see that she had been put in one of the hero teams. She was also glad to see that she had been paired with Midoriya. Even though he didn't grasp his quirk yet, she was still happy to be paired with someone she knew. Unfortunately, she was going to be up against Iida once again... and Bakugou.

Fey turned her head towards Tenya, who had done the same to look at her. If her first test with him had shown her anything, it was that he wasn't the type to hold back. Knowing that, it fired her up even more somehow. She gave him a confident smile and nodded, which Iida reciprocated. She had thrown the figurative gauntlet on the ground and Iida had gladly picked it up.

Of the two, she figured Bakugou would be the more dangerous one. Not that she was underestimating Tenya, but Katsuki was the type to do things with reckless abandon. It didn't help that she had been paired up with his childhood friend Izuku. She had witnessed his bullying on multiple occasions and couldn't understand how Midoriya could consider someone like him a friend. It didn't help either that Bakugou still looked at her like a hungry beast when their paths would cross. Luckily, this time he was too busy fuming at the idea of fighting against her teammate to notice her.

Each team marched out towards their starting points. The villains had a package to guard. It was meant to represent a bomb that would set off if the heroes didn't stop them fast enough. The bomb could be moved by the villains, but as soon as the heroes touched it, it was game over for them. For the villains to win, they had to stop the heroes from reaching the bomb before the timer ran out. Simple enough in theory, but in practice...

Fey waited outside the building next to Izuku, who seemed nervous. She tried comforting him by placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, no sweat Deku," she said calmly. "We've got this!"

She nodded, expecting him to nod back at her. He only responded with a slight head movement, before All-Might called for the beginning of the trial. As soon as he gave the signal, Fey followed Midoriya into the building. They started looking for "the villains", but were quickly intercepted by Bakugou, who came out swinging from the right.

"Watch out!"

A huge explosion blew out the wall that had been behind them before they dodged. The shock sent the whole building shaking, which prompted someone to start speaking into Katsuki's ear. Fey figured it must have been Iida talking to him over comms.

"Shut the fuck up and defend the payload!" Bakugou barked agressively, before planting his murderous gaze on Izuku once again.

He seemed distracted by Midoriya, completely ignoring her. She figured she could use this to her advantage. If Deku could keep him occupied while she went looking for the bomb, maybe she could take on Tenya on her own and win them the battle. Divide and conquer, as they say.

Without warning, Fey bolted out of there in a split second. She trusted Midoriya to understand the strategy and to know what to do with Bakugou. He just needed to keep him busy for now. As she zipped furiously through the building, she kept looking out for any sign of the bomb, but in her distraction, she failed to see Iida coming from one of the room on the top floor at great speed. He flanked her right side, sending her flying against a wall hard. The initial shock completely knocked the air out of her lungs for a second as she fell to the ground on her feet. Before she could make another move though, Tenya had already pinned her against the wall.

"Hahaha! Look what we have here," Tenya said in an unusual tone. "An insect caught in a trap."

There was something about the way he was speaking now that made Fey shiver. She wasn't sure if it was out of fear, disgust or... something else, but what was certain was that Iida was really getting into his villain role.

"Well well... If it isn't the devious villain Iida," Fey leaned into the game.

Tenya let out a big, sinister laugh once again.

"I didn't think you'd fall into my trap so easily, hero," he continued. "But it seems as though you were no match for my cunning intellect!"

"Oh really?" Fey arched her brow. "That's funny... 'cause I don't recall you having any capture tape..."

While he was monologuing, she had gotten the capture tape from her utility belt and was now trying to wrap it around his waist. In the split second where he had to readjust his position so as to not get tied up by the tape, Fey slipped under him, grabbing both legs before pushing against the wall with her feet. The force successfully pushed her underneath Tenya and flipped him at the same time, sending him crashing onto the floor. She figured she shouldn't bother with the capture tape since he'd probably recover from the fall too quickly. Instead, she bolted out of there like a rocket to continue her search.

"Arrgh! You won't get away that easily, hero!"

Tenya was in hot pursuit of her, his speed matching hers in an instant. Fey quickly started to make sharp turns in hopes of losing him, but Iida was a lot quicker than she anticipated.

"Haha! Try and catch me if you can!" she taunted him.

Although this was a test and she had an objective to reach, Fey was amused by the situation. The fact that they were so into their roles made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. But she couldn't linger too long. Midoriya was up against Bakugou after all, and she had no idea how long he could hold him off before getting injured. Unfortunately, Fey made the mistake of turning into a dead end, almost running straight into the wall as she reached the end of the hallway. She turned to see if she could turn back, but Iida was already blocking her exit. His tall figure stood contrasted by the window behind him. She couldn't see any of his features, only his large shadow approaching her menacingly.

"Muahahahahahaha!" he laughed diabolically. "Looks like it's the end of the line for you, hero!"

"Oh noooo..." Fey said sarcastically. "It looks like I'll never escape this dead end."

Tenya laughed once more. "I'm counting on it... There's no way you'll get to the bomb hidden on this floor! You're mine!"

Fey eyes flashed with excitement. Iida had just given her exactly what she wanted to know. Now that she knew for sure that the bomb was on this particular floor, she tried to recall where she hadn't searched before and it hit her. The room from which Tenya had emerged to attack her must have been the room where they were keeping the bomb. Iida must have sensed the realization in Fey's eyes, because as soon as he did, his previously triumphant demeanor quickly dissipated as he lunged at her to pin her against the wall again. Fey predicted his attack this time though, and flew right over his head. Now it was Tenya's turn to eat the wall as he couldn't slow down before reaching the end of the hall. Fey darted towards her objective, but Iida swiftly caught up to her once more. She was starting to find him kind of annoying by this point, and she could also feel her energy reserves depleting. If she lost any amount of speed, Tenya would surely catch up to her and grab her.

Fortunately, a stroke of luck was going to help her out very soon. She could hear Bakugou and Deku fighting underneath where she would pass. Moreover, she could hear Midoriya preparing an attack. Once she made it past them, a gigantic shockwave sent the floors and the walls from multiple floors flying upward, cutting off Tenya from her. A chasm separated them now, giving Fey the legroom she desperately needed to reach her goal. Taken aback by the explosion, Tenya stopped his advance. This spelled out his doom though, as now, Fey was well in range of the bomb. She quickly grabbed the payload and celebrated her victory loudly.

"I GOT IT!" she yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.

Tenya eventually reached the room where she was at, staring at her in shock as she held the bomb in her hands.

"Well, Mr. Evil Genius," she said amusingly. "Looks like I've foiled your plans."

She shot a cocky smile at him as she approached. Once she reached him, she put a hand on his shoulder and leaned towards his ear.

"Now we're even," she declared smugly, before walking away with her prize, leaving poor Iida to wallow in his defeat.
