Author's Note: For those who've been following my fic closely from the start, I've changed Fey's siblings from brothers to sisters so that I could use images of Baby Tooth from Rise of the Guardian in future chapters (if need be). For those of you who are joining the fun right now, welcome ! :P This doesn't concern you but I'm still happy to have you around ^^

After everything that had happened over the weekend, Tenya and Fey returned to U.A. as if nothing had happened. Nobody knew what they had gone through and that was fine by them. Tenya was still recovering from his hand injury, but he dismissed it to the others as just a careless kitchen accident whenever they would ask about his bandages.

Things changed rapidly for Fey and her family. For once, Fey had been able to go to bed early, as she didn't have to go to work late in the night anymore. She was relieved she could catch up on some much needed sleep, which was going to be crucial if she wanted to score well for the written exams.

The week started with three days of written exams, all of which Fey passed with flying colors. And it was all thanks to Tenya. His diligent tutoring, even through their crisis, had given her the tools she needed to pass the exams. With the written tests done and dusted, it was time for class 1-A's practical exam. There had been rumors that the practical exam would involve fighting the same robots that they had faced in the entrance exam. With that in mind, Fey wasn't too worried about passing her practical test. As she made her way towards the testing area, she was already strategizing ways of dealing with them with Tenya. The pair, like the rest of their class, had put on their hero costumes. Fey looked up at him in his white armor and smiled. She had always thought he looked so heroic in his hero suit, but she preferred it when he didn't have his helmet on. Tenya noticed her staring, which prompted her to look away shyly and start blushing. This made him smile to himself, but his smile quickly faded once they arrived in front of the testing grounds. They were greeted by their teacher, Mr. Aizawa, but also by a host of other teachers, including Midnight, Cimentoss, Thirteen, Snipe, Present Mic, Ectoplasm and Power Loader. Feu was surprised to see them, especially because they hadn't been present for any of their other practical tests before.

"Now then," Aizawa started to speak. "Let's begin the last test. Remember, it's possible to fail this final. If you want to go to camp, don't go making any stupid mistakes."

Fey squeezed Iida's hand tightly, conveying to him that she was a bit nervous. It was her way of controlling her nervous tics when she felt anxious. It helped her stop herself from picking at the feathers around her wrists and neck. Tenya glanced at her for a moment, wanting to calm her with a reassuring smile, but remembering that she couldn't see his face. Despite this, she noticed him looking at her and instantly knew that he was trying to keep her calm. She smiled slightly, loosening her grip slightly as she continued to listen to what their teacher had to say.

"Um, why are all the teachers here?" Kyoka asked from the back of the group.

"I expect many of you have gathered information and believe you have some idea of what you'll be faced with today," Aizawa said to the class.

"We're fighting those big metal robots!" Denki shouted triumphantly.

A voice came from Aizawa's scarf. "Actually, this year's test will be completely different!... for various reasons."

Principal Nezu suddenly popped out of Aizawa's scarf, lifting his small fist towards the sky. Everyone stared at him with shocked expressions, both because of what he said and how he had just appeared from Aizawa's scarf.

"The tests now have a new focus," The principal said as he climbed down to the floor. "There will be hero work, of course, but also teamwork and combat between actual people! So what does that mean for you? Well, you students will be working in pairs and your opponents will be one of our esteemed U.A. teachers! Isn't that fabulous?"

The whole class felt like they had just been punched in the stomach all at the same time. They stared bewildered at the teachers as they tried processing what they had just been told. As Fey's anxiety skyrocketed, she started pulling nervously at the feathers in the back of her neck.

"We're fighting the teachers?!" Ochaco asked anxiously.

"Additionally," Mr. Aizawa continued. "Your partners and your opponents have already been chosen. They were determined at my discretion based on various factors including fighting styles, grades and interpersonal relationships."

Fey's nervousness was now manifesting in her entire body. Tenya could feel her trembling next to him and he turned his attention momentarily to grab her arm gently with his free hand, forcing her to stop picking at her neck. Fey was startled by him grabbing her out of the blue, but thanked him with a glance for stopping her feather picking. He squeezed her against him with his arm around her shoulders, hoping that his presence would help her calm down.

Aizawa started announcing each of their teams and who each of them were going to be facing during the practical exam. All-Might ended up joining in as they announced that Midoriya and Bakugou were going to be facing him together. Fey couldn't possibly think of a worse pairing than those two, but she figured that was the whole point, and since Deku had a quirk similar to All-Might's it made sense that they would be facing him. Then her name was called out along with Toru's and Aizawa announced that they would be facing off against Snipe. Her heart dropped to her stomach. She knew Snipe was almost a direct counter to her quirk since he could perfectly target anything within 600 meters that he could see. Hagakure would be at an advantage against him, though, since she was completely invisible. She turned towards Tenya, who had been assigned to a different team and the two of them exchanged a long, wordless look, regretting being split apart for the test. They exchanged some encouraging glances before shaking each other's hands and separating to join with their teammates.

"Alright Fey!" Toru said excitedly. "Looks like we'll be doing this test together!"

"It would seem so," Fey replied with dwindling excitement.

"I'm kind of worried about Snipe's quirk," Toru admitted. "Especially in regards to yours."

"Don't remind me…" Fey complained. "But we'll see what the terrain looks like before jumping to conclusions."

"Right on!"

Each team had two options when it came to passing the test: they could either try and handcuff their opponent with a pair of cuffs they were given at the start of their trial, or they could reach the exit gates, representing them fleeing their opponent to get backup. It was hard to determine which one they would go for since they didn't know what the terrain would look like until it was their turn to do the exam. During the exams, the teachers would be wearing special weights that would handicap them to give their students a better chance at defeating them. Each team would have 30 minutes to complete the exam and would fail automatically if the timer ran out.

Fey revised every aspect of the exam with her teammate as they both made their way towards the observation room that had been set up for the exam. Once they arrived, they were surprised to see that Midoriya and Ochaco were already there.

"Hey you guys!" Toru cheerfully said as she ran over to them. Fey fluttered towards them to catch up.

"Hey you two!" Ochaco greeted them happily. "You've also come to watch the others?"

"Fey wanted to see her man in action," Hagakure snickered.

Fey started to blush profusely.

"I just figured I'd be supportive, you know?" she bashfully admitted.

"You two are honestly so cute together," Ochaco said with a smile.

The first series of battles began with Rikido and Kirishima fighting Cimentoss. Although their quirks worked well together, the two of them didn't have the stamina nor the foresight to stand up against Cimentoss' onslaught and were quickly eliminated. Fey gritted her teeth, seeing how their teachers weren't holding back on them. Then, it was Tokoyami and Asui's turn to pass their exams. Together, then managed to handcuff Ectoplasm's leg thanks to their cunning plan and quirks, which gave Fey a bit of hope. Next was Tenya's practical exam, which she paid close attention to. He had been paired with Ojiro and was on terrain that put them at a disadvantage against Power Loader. While the topography was mostly flat, there were traps everywhere that limited their movements. Fey clutched her hands together, staring anxiously at the screen as she mumbled encouraging words to her boyfriend from the observation room.

"Come on Tenya… you can do it!"

His team seemed to struggle at first, but once Tenya had decided that it would be best to flee the area instead of fight, he devised a plan to get them to the exit gates. Fey almost burst out laughing as she saw Ojiro climb up onto his back, then Tenya used his Recipro Burst to outrun the traps that Power Loader had put in place. It seemed like they would be making it to the gates without any resistance, but their opponent had something else in mind. Once they were half-way to the gate, Power Loader emerged from the ground to stop their advance. Tenya quickly jumped into the air, instructing his partner to wrap his tail around his leg. Fey looked at them with an intrigued look on her face, wondering what her boyfriend would do next. He then used another Recipro move, making himself spin in the air to propel Ojiro towards the exit gates. Ojiro then successfully blocked Power Loader's attack and crossed the gates seconds later, making them pass the exam.

"YES!" Fey shouted as she jumped into the air, her wings flapping furiously behind her. "Way to go you guys!"

Her celebration ended quickly as she realized that Tenya was completely stuck underground. She burst out laughing, almost falling to the ground with how hard she was laughing. It took her a few moments to compose herself and she landed back on the ground next to Toru and Ochaco. A few moments later, Ochaco had to leave to prepare for her exam and Tenya entered the observation room.

"Baaabe!" Fey cheerfully yelled as she flew to him, throwing herself into his arms. "You were amazing!"

"My Star!" Tenya said, surprised by her sudden embrace. "I didn't know you'd be watching…"

"I saw everything! That move you pulled off with Ojiro was incredible! You looked so heroic while doing it."

"My my, such praise." he said while blushing.

Fey surprised him with a sudden kiss, as he had removed his helmet after completing his practical exam. Tenya gasped slightly in surprise, but leaned into the kiss seconds later. He then placed her back on the ground, resting his hands on her waist.

"Your exam is coming very soon, no?" he asked her inquisitively.

"Uumm… yeah you're right," Fey answered as her smile faded from her lips.

Tenya could see that she was still nervous, so he lifted her chin up so that she could look into his eyes. He then smiled at her reassuringly.

"You'll be alright, my love," he said to her. "I have faith that you will succeed in this test as well."

She looked deep into his eyes, smiling after a few seconds as she felt her worries dissipating. She wanted to kiss him again so badly, but she remembered that they weren't alone and that they were still at school. While she wasn't against PDA, she didn't want to bother the others or embarrass Tenya by being overly affectionate during class. They both came up to the screen to watch the others battle it out with the teachers. With Tenya by her side, Fey could rest easy knowing that he believed in her. After a few battles, though, she and Toru had to leave the observation room to get ready for their test. After exchanging one last kiss with Tenya, Fey made her way to the exam area they had been assigned to.

The area in which she would conduct her practical exam could not have been anymore disadvantageous for her. Not only was it indoors, but it was also relatively open with only a few concrete pillars dotting the room. At least the ceilings were high, but that only meant that she would be even more exposed to Snipe's quirk if she decided to fly up. Fey wondered why she had been assigned with Hagakure, of all people, since their quirks didn't align together at all. Maybe that was her challenge to overcome. She would have to find a way to make this situation work for her somehow.

The two girls entered the test area, unsure of where Snipe was hiding. As the bell rang to indicate the start of the practical exam, Fey looked around to try and spot him.

"I wonder where he could be," Toru asked, her voice reverberating through the entire room.

Fey's eyes widened as she realized how echo-y the room was. She heard a loud bang coming from the other side of the test area and Fey pushed Hagakure to the floor using her wings to accelerate herself. The bullet that came flying at them hit her directly in the wing, sending her crashing against the pillar behind them and making her cry out in pain.

"Fey!" Toru shouted as she went to check if she was alright.

Her wing hadn't been damaged too much since Snipe was using blanks against them, but it had been badly bruised and was painful to use. Fey quickly rushed with Toru behind the pillar, still reeling from the pain of Snipe's shot.

"I'm okay," she reassured her. "It just… hurts a lot."

She tried looking around the corner to see where he was, but got peppered with bullets. She hid behind the pillar to avoid getting hit.

"Oh my god, what are we going to do?!" Toru yelled anxiously.

The room fell quite again once the shooting had stopped, followed by the steady sounds of steps coming their way. They knew it was Snipe coming for them, but he didn't seem to be in a hurry to get to them. Probably because he was expecting Fey to take off and try to rush him, but with her busted wing, she wouldn't be able to fly as well as usual. Not to mention that if she did take off, she would be out in the open where Snipe could shoot at her again.

"Toru," Fey said as she turned towards her. "We're not going to be able to fight this guy head on… but with your quirk, you could win this for us. You just have to take off all of your clothes and run to the gate. Since he can't see you, he won't be able to target you with his quirk."

"Are you sure this is the best way, Fey?" Toru seemed unsure.

"It's worth a try. Now get undressed."

"It's really embarrassing when you say it like that…"

Fey continued to listen while Toru got undressed. Once she was completely invisible, she started running towards the exit gates that were located on the other side of the room. Fey felt bad for making her do all of the work, but she couldn't see any other way for them to pass the test. Then, suddenly, she heard Toru scream in the distance. Without hesitating, Fey flew straight towards where she had run off to, narrowly escaping Snipe's quirk as she hugged the pillars to avoid his bullets.

"Toru!" she yelled, as she saw her trapped in a net on the ground.

As she got close to her teammate, Fey realized that the room had been completely boobytrapped. Making their ways towards the exit wouldn't be as simple as she had thought. Plus, Snipe was not making his way towards them, since he could hear them thanks to the reverb. Fey quickly grabbed hold of the net that Toru was trapped in and lifted her towards another part of the test area to hide, but the sound her wings made gave away their position and Snipe started immediately shooting at them. Fey received another bullet, this time to her ribs, making her scream out in pain as she almost dropped Toru. They both came crashing down behind a pillar, safe from Snipe's shots for now.

"Oh my god, Fey! Are you okay?!" Toru asked as she tried to free herself from the net.

Fey gripped at her ribs painfully, trying to catch her breath. She eventually was able to move again and crawled towards her teammate to help her out. After struggling for a moment, she managed to break the net and free her classmate. They both leaned against the pillar they were hiding behind as Snipe caught up to them and started shooting furiously at the concrete pillar.

"What do we do now?!" Toru asked, panic settling in her voice. "The room is completely boobytrapped! How are we supposed to get to the exit gates with him shooting at us?!"

Fey shushed her as she was being so loud that Snipe could hear every word. She motioned for her to keep her voice down as she leaned closer to her.

"He's probably using the echoes to keep track of our location," she whispered to her. "We need to keep quiet if we want to outmaneuver him."

Fey heard the pillar behind them starting to crack and she quickly grabbed Toru to fly her out of the way before the pillar came crashing down on them. With her wing still hurt, she couldn't fly very far with her in her arms, but at least she got them away from the crashing column.

"Alright, I think I have a plan," she continued to whisper to her.

"I'm all ears," Toru replied in a low voice.

"I'm pretty certain Snipe's the one who put all the traps down, which means he knows exactly where to step so that he doesn't get caught by his own traps. So, to get past the traps, you'll have to follow him towards the exit gates."

"Yeah but how are we going to make him lead us to the gate?"

"There aren't any traps up near the ceiling, so I'll be able to fly and bait him towards the gate. He'll want to stop me, so he'll most likely follow me. While he does that, you'll follow behind him."

"What if he hears me though?"

"He won't. I'll cover the sounds of your footsteps with my wings."

"That's brilliant, Fey!" Toru shouted a bit too loudly.

"Oh crap…"

Snipe heard them and started shooting at them once more. Fey came out of her hiding spot and started flying towards the exit gates. As she had predicted, Snipe immediately gave chase, shooting at her from afar. She used the columns to her advantage, hiding behind them as much as possible to block his projectiles, but even then, he still managed to get a few more hits on her. Eventually, Fey came crashing down again, her wings too battered to support her anymore.

"If you think you can just rush your way towards the exit gates, you're dead wrong…" Snipe said as he approached her.

Fey got up from the ground, turning towards the teacher. She stared at him with eyes filled with determination. Bruises were starting to appear on her body from where Snipe's rubber bullets had hit her. She lifted her hands up in front of her, as if she was surrendering herself to him.

"Heh… Aren't you giving up a little too easily for a hero?" he asked in a sarcastic tone.

Fey snickered. "Who said anything about giving up?"

She slammed her hands down on the ground, making her wings beat furiously as they buzzed loudly behind her. The reverb in the room amplified the sound they produced, creating a loud droning sound that was almost too much to bear. Even Snipe was caught off guard by how loud they were, but this didn't stagger him for long. He threw a bolas at them to immobilize them, which made Fey wince in pain.

"Looks like your friend has left you high and dry," he said with a cocky smile.

"That's what you think," Fey growled as she looked up at him.

Her cocky smile told him everything he needed to know. He thought that because he couldn't hear her and because none of his traps had been triggered, that Toru had been hiding all this time, waiting for Fey to reach the gates when in fact, she had been the one sneaking towards the exit. Before he had time to train his gun towards the gate, the bell rang, indicating that someone had crossed it. Fey breathed a sigh of relief as her gambit had been successful.

"Fey and Toru have passed the practical exam!" a voice yelled in the speakers.

Spine approached Fey to untie her wings.

"You two did well," he complimented. "Even though you were in a highly disadvantuous area, you still managed to make it work in your favor."

"Thank you, sir," Fey said, folding her wings over her shoulders to massage where she had been hit.

The two of them exited the area as Fey was suddenly assaulted by an invisible force hugging her.

"That was amazing Fey!" She recognized Toru's voice. "The way you made the whole room shake with your wings was so awesome!"

"Outch! Not so hard Toru…" Fey winced as her wings were being crushed by her invisible teammate.

"Oh sorry!"

The two girls went back to the observation room where Fey met up with Tenya once again. He had been joined by Yaoyorozu in the meantime, but went up to Fey when she entered the room.

"That was incredible, my love!" he excitedly cheered as he lifted her up into his arms and spun her around.

"Aaah! Watch the wings, Tenya…" Fey complained. "They're a bit sore…"

"Oh, sorry!" he replied as he set her back down.

"I knew two would pull through!" Momo said excitedly. "There's no one better at stealth ops than you, Hagakure!"

"Awww shucks! Thanks Yaomomo!"

"And good job to you as well, Fey! It was really brave of you to face Mr. Snipe head on like that in the end."

"Yeah I just wished he had hit me with fewer bullets..." Fey groaned painfully.

"Let me help with that," said Recovery Girl as she walked up to give her a biiiiiiiig kiss on the forehead.

Fey could immediately feel her bruises dissipating rapidly. She sighed contentedly, feeling a lot better than when she had first left the exam room.

"Thank you, Recovery Girl," she said thankfully.

"It's no problem, dear," the old woman replied.

Fey cuddled up next to Tenya to watch the rest of the matches with him. Once all the tests were over and done with, they returned to class to hear Mr. Aizawa's final verdict regarding who would go to the training camp or not.

"Unfortunately, there are a few of you who did not pass your final exams," he declared in a flat voice.

There was a long pause in which all of the students who failed lowered their heads in defeat.

"So when it comes to the training camp in the woods… Everyone is going!" Aizawa announced suddenly in a weirdly excited tone.

"We get to go to camp?!" Kirishima happily asked.

"Yeah."

"Seriously?!" Mina added.

"The good news is no one bombed the written exams. 5 failed the practical, badly. Two teams of course and Sero failed as well…"

"Aww I knew it!" Sero whined. "Mineta made it to the gate but I didn't do nearly enough to pass…"

"Those of you who failed need to attend the training camp the most," the teacher continued. "So we were never going to separate you." A weird smile crept onto his face. "That was just a logical deception we used."

Fey could see Tenya freaking out at his desk as he came to the realization that their teacher had deceived them once again.

"He tricked us all!" he exclaimed to himself. "I should have expected this."

He then suddenly shot up from his desk with his hand raised in the air.

"Mr. Aizawa this is the second time you've lied to us! Aren't you afraid we'll lose faith in you?!"

"Uuh… A little blunt there, Tenya," said Ochaco sitting behind him.

"... That's a good point," Aizawa agreed. "I'll consider it… but I wasn't lying to you about everything. Failure is… failure."

His eyes darted towards the students that had failed the practical exam.

"We've prepared extra lessons for the five of you," he declared. "Frankly they'll be far tougher than what you'd face in summer school."

And with that, the bell rang, ending the last day of the semester. Everyone was handed a Training Camp Guide before leaving. The students stayed in class even after Aizawa had left to talk about the upcoming summer vacation.

"This is going to be awesome!" Ojiro mused. "I'm so glad we're all going to the training camp together!"

"Looks like we'll be at the training camp for a whole week!" Tenya exclaimed as he read through the guide.

"I've got to find a bigger suitcase," Midoriya chimed in.

"Yeah I haven't even got a bathing suit," Kaminari explained. "I guess I'll have to go and buy one."

"Guys! Since we're off tomorrow and we're officially done with exams, I have the best idea!" Toru cheerfully said to the entire class. "Why don't we all go shopping together?!"

"Hey yeah!" Denki answered excitedly. "That's a great idea, Hagakure!"

"Hear that Bakugou?" Eijirou said as he turned towards him. "You'll be coming with us right?"

"I can't think of anything more annoying," Katsuki grumbled.

"Are you going to come, Todoroki?" Izuku asked him with hopeful eyes.

"I visit my mom on days off," Shoto replied.

Fey watched them all excitedly plan for their big outing with a smile on her face. For once, she was also going to be able to kick back and relax, now that she didn't need to focus all her time and attention on keeping her family safe. She looked towards Tenya, their eyes meeting as they smiled at each other. This would also be the first time they would be going out as a couple, which made her stomach flutter. The next day couldn't come soon enough…
