It was another very early morning for class 1-A. This time, though, they weren't going on a leisurely bus ride. Today, the real training began…

The class met up in front of the training camp facility where they were staying. Many rubbed their eyes tiredly, while others were stretching out the last remnants of sleep out of their bodies. Fey fell into the first category while Tenya fell into the latter. Once she spotted him, she groggily fluttered her way towards him, before landing on his back as she wrapped him with her arms.

"Mmmh good morning babe…" she said to him in a tired voice.

"My, you're looking quite tired this morning," he chuckled slightly, continuing his morning workout despite Fey clinging to him like a monkey.

"I'll be fine, don't worry…"

Not long after, Aizawa showed up looking like his usual tired self. Unlike them, this was just how he usually looked on a daily basis.

"Good morning, class," he greeted as he made his way in front of them. "Today, we begin the training camp that will increase your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially so that each of you earns a provisional license. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness… Proceed carefully."

He then turned his attention over to Bakugou, throwing a fist-sized ball at him.

"Look alive Bakugou!"

Katsuki caught the ball in his hand nonchalantly.

"Try throwing that for me," his teacher asked.

"Yeah, sure," Bakugou replied. "Like in the fitness test."

"That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you've improved…"

Bakugou stepped away from the rest of the class, tossing the ball a few feet in the air before catching it again. He then started spinning his throwing arm a few times to warm himself up. Meanwhile, everyone was paying close attention to him. Fey had gotten down from Tenya's back once Aizawa had appeared and was nonchalantly looking in Bakugou's direction. She was expecting him to knock it completely out of the park, as it usually went when Bakugou demonstrated his quirk.

"GO TO HELL!" he shouted as he launched the ball using his quirk.

Fey watched as the ball was flung far out into the forest. She thought to herself that he had thrown it quite far out, probably further than what he had initially scored during the preliminary fitness tests in the very beginning of the semester. The results, though, spoke very differently…

"709.6 meters?!" Sero exclaimed as Aizawa held up his phone to show them the results. "That's it? Kind of disappointing…"

Bakugou stared in shock at the number on Aizawa's screen. Even Fey was surprised by how little Bakugou had improved.

"You've had a single semester at U.A.," Aizawa began to speak. "And due to your various experiences, all of you have definitely improved. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental prowess and technical skill, with a slight increase in stamina thrown in along the way…" He stared at the class intently. "As you can see, your quirks themselves have not improved much on a fundamental level. That's why we're now going to focus on improving your powers."

He flashed a sadistic smile which sent chills down Fey's back, making her feathers stand on end.

"This'll be so hard, you'll feel like you're dying," Aizawa proclaimed. "Let's hope you all survive…"

Their teacher then got them working on personalized training regiments specifically created for their quirks. While most of the students would be working out on their own, some of the students had been paired up so that they could improve the use of their quirks together.

"Iida, Salvador," Aizawa called for the pair of them as he finished giving instructions to the other students. "You two will be training together for the next week."

Fey was ecstatic. Not only was she going to be finally working on improving her quirk, but she would also be training with Tenya again. The two of them exchanged a look, smiling at each other, before nodding at their teacher.

"I've seen how you two can push yourselves to exceed your limitations," Aizawa continued. "That's why… I've decided to put you through a little game of tag."

The two students stared at him with surprised faces, not fully understanding what he meant by that. He then took out a headband from his jacket and handed it off to Fey.

"Your training is simple: one of you is going to be wearing this headband. While that's the case, the other will try to take that headband away from you. If they succeed, your job will then be to recover that headband from them, and so on and so forth. The objective is to increase your speed and your stamina, while also increasing your reflexes by training in the woods so that you guys have obstacles to move around. Understood?"

"Yes Mr. Aizawa!" Tenya yelled as he suddenly straightened up like a board in front of him. "We'll do our best, sir!"

"Good… I'm counting on you to really push yourselves. No distractions… I want you focused on your training at all times."

"Yes sir!" Fey answered with a determined look in her eye.

As he dismissed them, Fey looked down at the bandana in her hand. She started walking towards the woods with Tenya, thinking about how they would go about their training together.

"I'll admit, this isn't exactly what I was expecting when they announced that we would be attending training camp this summer," she confessed as she tied the headband to her forehead. "But it makes perfect sense."

"Agreed," Tenya acknowledged. "This almost seems a bit juvenile when you think about it."

Fey chuckled softly. "Just think of it as another test, like when you were chasing me through that building during the Battle Trial, remember?"

"You mean… when I had to play the part of a villain?"

"Exactly. Think of it as you retrieving the item I stole from that encounter…" She flashed him a cheeky smile. "What will you do now, Mr. Evil Genius?"

She started hovering slowly, challenging Tenya with her devilish expression. Tenya's eyes began to glow with excitement as the two of them bolted towards the forest at an incredible speed. For the purpose of their training, Fey was going to avoid going up in the air since it would not only severely put Tenya at a disadvantage, but she also wouldn't be needing to push herself too hard. She needed to challenge herself, and right now, her biggest challenge was traversing the forest at high speeds without running into any trees. In terms of mobility, she probably had Tenya beat on that front, but that also meant that she had less time to react whenever she would encounter an obstacle. Not to mention that him running after her was incredibly distracting since she had to both avoid running into things as well as look out for him flanking her.

A few moments after they had started chasing each other, Fey noticed that Tenya had suddenly disappeared. She stopped to look around to see where Tenya had gone, but could only see trees and shrubbery everywhere she looked. He was probably trying to flank her, so she started flying straight ahead again. Unfortunately, that was also the direction in which Tenya had gone, as he waited for her to pass near him. Activating his quirk, he blasted off towards her, flanking her and snatching the bandana from her head. The force of his movement sent her flying straight into a tree, splitting her bottom lip. Fey tumbled to the ground, a bit dizzy from the impact, as she turned to face Tenya.

"Hahaha! You thought you had escaped me, Hero, but I've outsmarted you yet again!"

Like during the Battle Trial, Tenya was really leaning into his role as the villain, even changing his voice to sound more like a comical, mustache-twirling villain as he tied the headband to his head. Fey chuckled softly, wiping the small amount of blood that bled from her split lip.

"Is that so?" she asked in an amused tone. "Well see about th-... HEY!"

Tenya didn't even wait for her to finish her sentence before taking off into the woods. Fey growled as she started flying after him, catching up to him in no time.

"Come back here with that!" she shouted at him.

"Muahahaha! Just try and catch me, Hero! I dare you…" she yelled back

This is what she had been afraid of. While she held the upper hand when it came to raw mobility, Tenya had a lot more maneuverability on foot. Everytime he made a sharp turn, Fey would always overshoot it by going way too fast. This pissed her off since every time this happened, Tenya would get further and further away from her. Not to mention that, since she was flying at such a high speed, everything around her was just a blur, so when she lost sight of Tenya, she couldn't even tell in which direction he had disappeared to.

She cursed loudly, mad at herself for being so overly confident in the beginning. She knew she had to find him or else she would fail in her exercise. This was also part of her training. Tracking down villains was also part of a hero's job. She looked around carefully, trying to find any trace left by Tenya or his quirk. Finally, she caught the smell of exhaust fumes and bolted straight towards the direction the smell was coming from. Surely enough, she could see Tenya's silhouette running up ahead. She then started building up momentum in her wings, slowly accelerating as the wind picked up speed behind her. After a few seconds of buildup, she released the pressure and spun around herself to create a spiraling current around her, pushing her forward towards Tenya. Her Cyclone Drill was exactly what she needed to close the gap between them, whizzing past him as she grabbed the bandana from his head. The winds she had generated pushed him to the ground as she slowed down up ahead, landing on a fallen tree truck and twirling the headband around her finger triumphantly.

"Haha! Wasn't expecting that were you, Mr. Evil Genius?" she snickered as she placed the headband back onto her head.

"That's… Doctor Evil Genius… to you!" Tenya said as he got up from the ground and dusted the dirt off his uniform.

"Oh pardon me, I had no idea I was dealing with such an intellectual…"

Tenya glared at her for a moment, before blasting off towards her. He tried to snatch the headband from her head, but Fey had anticipated his move and flew just above him, making him fall back down on the ground.

"Missed me! I'd say that you'd have to kiss me now but… I doubt you'd even be able to do that without catching me first!"

She snickered deviantly before bolting off into the woods once again. Tenya let out an annoyed grunt, even though deep down, he was enjoying their little game. He started running after her again, trying to keep up with her as she zipped through the trees. The two of them continued this game for the rest of the day, only stopping once the sun had started to set and the students had been called to the camp's facility. They were both completely extenuated from their efforts, but Fey had managed to keep the headband on her head until their first day of training was done. The bandana hung loosely over one eye, partially hiding it. Tenya tried pulling it off her head but was too tired to even pull it off her. He just held on to it lazily, marching sluggishly next to her as they approached camp.

"Remember what we said yesterday?!" Pixie Bob yelled as the class approached the outdoor eating area. "We're not serving your food anymore!"

"If you guys want to eat, you'll have to cook your own meal!" Ragdoll continued. "Starting with curryyyyy!"

The whole of class A and B groaned in pain, only managing to utter a groggy "yes ma'am" before shuffling towards the cooking stations.

"Oh man you guys look completely exhausted!" Ragdoll mocked as she laughed uncontrollably. "But that doesn't mean you guys can just go and make sloppy cat food!"

Tenya suddenly perked up beside her, thinking aloud to himself.

"I see," he started to say. "An important part of saving someone recovering from a disaster is providing for their physical needs as well as spiritual… This is a great opportunity!" He turned towards his classmates. "Let's make the most delicious curry in the world everyone!"

Fey looked up at him with a surprised look on her face as the others merely grunted in response. She started to laugh slightly, feeling a sense of renewed purpose thanks to Tenya's words. Unfortunately for him, he had clearly never made curry before, even though it was one of his favorite dishes. Fey on the other hand was used to cooking for her family and had a lot of experience preparing food. She helped him get a handle on peeling and chopping vegetables while she cooked everything on the stove. As she watched him peeling the potatoes, she thought to herself how nice it was to be preparing a meal together. They had never done it in the past and she wondered what it would be like if they lived together and did this on a daily basis. She started to blush slightly, shaking her head to recenter herself on the task at hand. One everything was cooked, she served them two plates and handed one to Tenya as they sat down to eat.

"There you go, babe!" she said in an excited voice. "Thank you for helping me with dinner."

"It's no problem, my Star!" he said as he clapped his hands together. "Itadakimasu!"

He then started digging into his plate voraciously, barely containing his excitement.

"My God!" he exclaimed. "This is amazing! I had no idea you were such an amazing cook, my love!"

Fey laughed bashfully. "It's nothing, really! Plus you helped me out so technically you're also responsible for the taste."

"Even so! You truly are a gifted cook, my dear. I can barely stop myself from-... MMMH!"

People around them started to stare as Tenya ate his curry with ravenous appetite. Ochaco, who was sitting next to her, leaned over to get a whiff of what they were eating.

"Wooow that smells really good Fey!" she said, slightly drooling. "Can I have a taste?"

"Oh me too Fey!" Toru exclaimed excitedly.

"I want to try some of your cooking as well!" Mina chimed in.

"O-Okay but there's only a little left in the pot guys sooo…"

The girls leapt from their seats, rushing over towards Fey's cooking station to get a taste of her curry. They all managed to get a small portion of the curry she had made, emptying out her pot.

"Oh my GOD, Fey!" Mina moaned. "This is amazing!"

"You're such a good cook Fey!" Hagakure complimented. "Mind cooking for us next time?"

"I don't know guys…" Fey answered with uncertainty. "Aren't we supposed to cook our own food?"

"Yeah but you could show us how you do it!" Ochaco replied cheerfully.

"Yeah! You could give us a cooking lesson for next time!" Mina cheered as she pumped her fist into the air.

"Sure, I guess I could do that."

"You're the best Fey!" The girls answered all at the same time.

It made Tenya smile to see so many of their classmates looking up to her. He couldn't help but feel like he was the luckiest guy in the world to have such an amazing person in his life. She wasn't just determined and strong-willed, she was also kind and caring and that made her all the more beautiful in his eyes. He reached across the table to grab her hand, stroking the top of it with his thumb. Fey turned her attention towards him, smiling as she felt the warmth of his hand on hers. They interlaced their fingers together, finishing their meal before heading off to bed for the day.
