DISCLAMER – I DO NOT OWN BLUE BLOODS OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SHOW. I DO OWN THE OC.

Intro – This is my first attempt at a story so please excuse my lack of experience. I am not trying to be an expert with details or police procedures so don't bother pointing them out. I like the idea of Joe having a son that he didn't know about, but my character won't be like the series Joe Hill. He will be a youngster that becomes a part of Erin and Nicki's family to be raised by Erin. He will be a genius whose IQ is off the scale and physically capable well beyond his years. Hopefully he will also be loveable and drive you crazy once in a while. This story will include references to CP and scenes of CP. If you don't like this please don't read and don't comment. Thanks for giving me a chance.

THE BEGINNING:

It was a cold night with a soft gentle snow. This is what NYPD detective 3rd grade Daniel Fitzgerald Reagan saw as he looked out the window of his car. He was still questioning the wisdom of the decision that he and his brother, NYPD officer Joseph Connor Reagan had made. Well it was more Joe than him. His brother had come to him about a friend that had been drugged and robbed at a frat house at a small local college in Brooklyn. He couldn't go to the police because he had no proof, so he had come to Joe, and Joe had talked Danny into backing him up while he scouted out the house and tried to figure out what the set up was.

If their father Frank Regan, the Chief of Police for the NYPD had known what they were doing he would have thrown them in the tombs and then thrown away the key! Then he would have turned them over to their mother who would threaten them with a sever dose of Irish justice if they ever pulled a stunt like this again. Through the years, many of Danny's and Joe's adventures had ended with them across their mother's lap, with her explaining the error of their ways with her trusty hairbrush, bath brush, or wooden spoon. She would always say, "Boys since I can't seem to get through those thick Irish heads of yours, I will try explaining things through a different area, the skin of your backsides"! Danny had to admit it definitely got their attention and they tended to straighten up, for a while anyways. He wished Joe would hurry up, the car was getting colder by the minute, and he had been in there for a half hour already.

When Joe had first walked into the old frat house, he saw that it was a busy night, and the place was full of college kids having a grand old time. They had decided that he would use Joseph Connor for his cover name so it would be easier for him to remember. And since it hadn't been that long since he had graduated from John James and the police academy he could still relate and blend into the college scene.

They actually had an old-time western bar set up in a huge room that looked like it used to be a ball room and Joe had walked up and ordered a drink. There were a couple of older looking men on his right and a young lady to his left that he smiled at and nodded to and she shyly smiled and looked away. Behind the bar there was three guys making drinks and one that was running things. He was also the ringleader who had set up the robbery business they had going.

Luring older men to the house with the promise of setting them up with young college coed's and then spiking their drinks with a special type of psychedelic drug that he had developed that would incapacitate them so that they could be robbed. By the time they would come off the drug they would have been taken to a nearby park or shelter and dumped where someone would find them, or they would just go home. Since they had been on a college campus after girls, they wouldn't be able to go to the police and complain, plus the special drug had an ingredient that made it hard for them to remember short term details.

The boss man looked at one of the bar tenders and nodded toward the older gents beside Joe. The bar tender understood and made up four drinks, two that had been ordered by the older men and two for Joe and the women at the end of the bar thinking that Joe and the young lady were together. After he had the drinks ready to go he reached for the special bottle that had the drug in it. As he started to poor one of the other bartenders came through and asked him a question while accidently bumping him. When his partner bumped him, the drug ended up going into Joe's and the young lady's drink. Not realizing it the bartender turned and gave Joe and the girl their drinks.

"There you go folks that will be 6 bucks sir". The girl quickly spoke up and said, "we aren't together". Joe seeing an opportunity to get some information said, "that's ok I've got it" handing the guy a 10 and telling him to keep the change. He then turned to the girl and said, "hope that's ok".

"Sure thanks, my name is Lizzy." "Joseph Connor here, have you been here long".

"No", "I was supposed to meet a friend here, but she hasn't showed up yet."

So Joe struck up a conversation trying to find out what the girl knew about the frat house. The bar tender gave the two older guys their drinks, and then moved on to other customers. The boss man watched thinking that the two would start showing the affects soon. He started to worry when he didn't see any change in their behavior. He was wondering what had gone wrong when he noticed that both Joe and Lizzy started acting a little funny and seemed to be having a hard time standing up. Quickly he realized what had happened and headed for Joe and Lizzy.

"Are you guys all right he asked?" Joe and Lizzy both looked at him and slowly with a slight slur to their words said that they were feeling lightheaded. The boss man said no problem, "Pete, Curly," he yelled to two of the bartenders, help me out; let's get these folks to a bedroom so they can lie down for a minute. The two bartenders took the two of them and helped them into a bed in the first room they came to and went back to work. Lizzy who seemed a little more with it expressed her fear and confusion to Joe, "what's happening, what's wrong with us?" "It's ok; we will be fine just stay close. Hopefully this will wear off quickly and we can get out of here." Lizzy, being scared and confused slid closer to Joe and snuggled up to him and said, "please hold me Joe". "Sure kid, no problem, just stay close".

Danny couldn't wait any longer, it was cold and Joe should have been out 15 minutes ago. They had agreed on 45 minutes for him to snoop around and see what he could find out and it had been an hour already.

When he got inside, he spent about 10 minutes looking around but saw no signs of Joe anywhere. He finally stopped at the bar and gave a description of Joe and asked if the bartender had seen him. The boss overheard and instead of trying to cover it up he just ran with it and told Danny that Joe had gotten a little tipsy and they had taken him to one of the bedrooms to lay down. He took Danny to the bedroom and opened the door. There was Joe lying on the bed with most of his clothes off sound asleep.

As Danny leaned over to check on his brother his jacket road up and the bottom of his shield popped out. The boss, seeing this, told Danny that he had to get back to the bar and that if he needed anything that he should just come out and ask for him and he would be glad to help out any way he could.

When he got back to the bar, he told his guys to dump any drug they had and that they needed to shut things down and move the operation someplace else. While they would eventually be caught it wouldn't be by Joe and Danny.

"Joe, wake up, come on man we need to go." Danny was getting worried; he couldn't get Joe to wake up and he wasn't sure what to do. He saw some water on a nightstand and splashed a little on Joe's face to get him to come around. Joe started to stir and sputter and finally started to move around and respond to Danny's attentions.

"Danny? Where am I?"

"We're at the frat house remember, under cover, only you weren't supposed to get this under cover! Why are your cloths half off, what the hell have you been doing?"

Huh, what? What are you talking about, Joe mumbled?

"You're in a bedroom with half you're cloths off numb nuts! What do you think I'm talking about?"

Joe slowly looked down and around the bed realizing what Danny was talking about, "Oh", Joe mumbled. He looked up at Danny with glazed eyes and said, "I don't remember".

"Fine, come on just get dressed so we can get out of here before they call the cops on us. Do you remember anything? What's the last thing you can remember?".

"Being at the bar and ordering a drink", Joe said as he was trying to stand up and get dressed.

Danny grabbed a hold of Joe and helped him get stabilized and said, "Be careful don't want you falling over and cracking your scull." "That it? Anything else?"

"Can't remember anything Danny", Joe said.

Danny finally got Joe dressed and was helping him walk out of the room and toward a back door that would lead to their car when Joe stopped.

"What's the matter, you ok? " Danny asked him.

"Lizzy, where's Lizzy?"

"Whose Lizzy" Danny asked.

"The girl that was with me", Joe replied. She got sick too and they threw us in there together."

"Joe there was no girl in the room or any where's close when I came in and the boss didn't mention anything about a girl when I asked him about you."

"I don't know Danny, only there was a girl, and we were together and she was scared but that's all I remember."

"Ok we will worry about that latter Danny replied, I just need to get you home and into bed."

"God if anyone finds out about this we are dead meat, so just make sure you keep your mouth shut Joe, don't tell anyone, your friend, dad, mom, especially Erin and Jamie (their sister and little brother). We will tell your friend we didn't find anything out and if anyone else asks we will just tell them you got sick." You understand Joe?"

Ya, Ya Danny, I got it."

"And next time you get any hair brained ideas about going undercover leave me out of it! Let's go home!" Danny growled at Joe.

Joe did recover in a few days and no one else found out. A few months later the perps did get caught and the robbery ring shut down. Joe and Danny did spend time trying to find out who Lizzy was but they never were able to track her down to find out what happened to her or if she ever existed, eventually Joe came to wonder if she had just been part of his hallucinations and moved on with his life.

Next chapter we will find out what happens with Lizzy!

Let me know what you think! Thanks!
