Episode 2: New Rules, New Insecurities

The Rise of Armpits Village

On the next day at the Hyūga's compound; Hinata was having a spar with her cousin Neji as part of her training, she made a huge progress in the past 3 years due to her pure determination and the mentality of not giving up on her goal to become a strong kunoichi in the future.

"You made a lot of progress this morning, Hinata..", Neji said as he stopped sparing with her.

Hinata was catching breath after 1 hour of training, she smiled brightly upon hearing Neji's words.

"A-Ahh..Thank you.. It's all because of your help, nee-san". Said hinata.

"Sure..okay, i think that's it for today, I have to go and train with Guy sensei and the others. Take care, Hinata..", Neji said as he left the training grounds.

"Don't push yourself", Hinata shouted while waving her arm at Neji. She knows fully what it means to be with Guy's team.

"Hmm.. it's only been a while but I'm already sweating profusely, I can't imagine how tired Nee-san must be to train with her team all day long." said Hinata to herself while watching Neji walk from a distance.

After a while, Hinata realized she was alone at the training grounds, she started to think about other stuff she wants to do for the rest of the day.

"Well, It's time to take a bath i guess..", Hinata thought while the sweat was covering all of her face.

20 minutes has passed and Hinata finished her bath as she was bored already, so she turned on the TV, watching her favorite talk show. but suddenly, the television channel she was watching changed to an impromptu news program automatically, there was an urgent announcement that everyone need to know about it.

Hinata was surprised, because this was a rare thing happened in konoha, she immediately watched it carefully with a little worry about what had just happened.

Shizune then appeared on the news, wearing a short black kimono that reached to her above her knees,

"Good morning, citizens of Konoha. I want to inform you about a new rules that includes the kunoichis specifically on our village and the ones who visit Konoha as will", as shizune greeted, Hinata had her full attention.

"And the new rules was, that every kunoichi had to wear sleeveless tops all the time from now on, and this law would take effect as of this morning", added Shizune.

"E-EHHH ?! W-WAIT..B-BUT WHY?!", Hinata yelled to herself as she really hates to have so much skin exposed since she sweat easly. That's the reason why she's wearing her hoody all the time, even at summer.

"Wearing a sleeveless clothes will help kunoichis to move freely, better, and faster with having much skin exposed. We noticed this effect since most of the sleeveless kunoichi in konoha have a great amount of success rate on mission. For those who disobeying this new rules will be punished on site, so please be aware. Thank you for your attention, stay safe..", Shizune sternly added.

Shizune then fixed her hair by tying it at a ponytail, as she puts her hands behind her head for a good 20 seconds to tie her hair while she's live on TV.

It has been 1 hour since the announcement and Hinata was walking back and forth in her room, she was very nervous and worried about the whole thing.

'I sweat easily by simply just walking or even only doing a simple activities..! that's the reason why I wear this jacket everytime.. I-I can't believe this is happening! I'll be forced to wear sleeveless tops', Yelled Hinata.

'It's getting hot here', Hinata thought as she took off her jacket, as she wore her sleeveless mesh armor beneath it.

Hinata walked at the mirror and raised both of her arms up,

'Oh God.. my armpits are getting sweaty all over again', Hinata complained as she raised her right hand up and checked closely at the mirror.

Meanwhile; Kurenai saw the latest news about the new law and she wasn't concerned about it since she wore sleeveless outfit all the time, she was actually worried a lot about Hinata since she's too shy to wear anything that would expose her body. So she picked up her phone to call her shy student.

Hinata kept her hands up for a while as she kept checking herself and sighing every couple of seconds,

"It's either wearing sleeveless tops for the rest of my life or..I'll be punished by Lady Tsunade !", her thoughts got interrupted by her phone ringing.

Hinata put her arms down, put her clothes back on and picked up her phone as she saw Kurenai calling her.

"H-Hello, Kurenai sensei..", Hinata greeted as she answered the call.

"Hello Hinata, I'm sure you've heard about the new rules right ? How do you feel ?", Kurenai asked.

"K-Kurenai sensei, I uhmm.. i don't like the new rules at all. Y-You know how shy I am about exposing my body to the public, right ? And I'm forced to do it now or Lady Tsunade will punished me..", Hinata answered honestly as she was scared and terrified about things that would happen to her.

"Alright, don't worry, I'm coming over to your place", Kurenai said as she hangout.

"O-Okay..thank you, Kurenai sensei..!", Said hinata nervously.

After 30 minutes; Kurenai arrived at the Hyūga compound as Hinata welcomed her at the main door, Hinata then noticed her sensei carrying bags with her.

"What do you have in these bags?", Hinata asked confused a bit.

"I have some outfits for you to try out", Kurenai answered as she gave Hinata the bags.

"Hinata, i'm sorry but I'm not going to give you an advice: Just think what Naruto would want you to wear", Kurenai added as she smirked at the blushing Hinata.

"I-I never thought about it, and I don't have any feelings for Naruto!", Hinata blushed as Kurenai laughed at her shy student.

"I'll be leaving now, try these outfits and see what suits you the best", Kurenai said while leaving.

After a couple minutes, Hinata looks at the clothes that Kurenai gave. She sighed and placed her hands on top of her head, blushedly thinking,

"Would Naruto-kun be happy to see me wearing sleeveless?"
