Amun-Ra knew that he was screwed. The secret was out, the jig was up, the confidential information was released. Damn it Sekhmet, he would have to get those polaroids of Set back since she failed at the one job she had, making sure that no one bothered him as he spoiled his new daughter. Ma'at's stare only intensified as Amun-Ra felt a bead of sweat form on his forehead. Even with his position as King and as Ma'at's Father, the young goddess was quite scary. Oh how he missed the days when she could barely walk without tripping over her feet.

"Ma'at! Hathor! What are you two doing here?" Amun-Ra took a small step to the left as Ma'at tried looking around him, using his larger body to block her view. She tried looking in the opposite direction, but a quick-step allowed Amun-Ra to block her view once more. He was truly a wise and intelligent king.

"You missed breakfast, which we agreed was the one meal that all of us were going to share since I've been busy with my new job." Ma'at said, her eyes still glaring daggers at him. Hathor on the other hand, or paw, or claw, seemed rather tired with her big cute cow eyes. Amun-Ra had the prettiest daughters. "Hathor said you were busy with a new pet."

"I'm not a pet you stupid bird!" Khepri shouted suddenly from behind the king of the Land of the Living. Ma'at's eyes widened slowly as the wings on her back twitched ever so slightly. Oh no, this wasn't good.

"I can explain!" Amun-Ra held his hands up defensively as he finally took a step to the side, no longer blocking his daughters view of Khepri, who was struggling to free herself from the children seat he had brought in. Walking behind the young goddess and placing a hand on her shoulder, Amun-Ra took a deep breath.

"Ma'at, Hathor, meet your sister, Khepri, the goddess of the morning sun, creation, and the renewal of life." Amun-Ra flashed them the best grin he could manage while Khepri threw his hand off of his shoulder.

"She's…" Ma'at choked on her sentence as she took a step back, while Hathor eyes seemed to light up with excitement, her body practically vibrating.

"SO ADORABLE!" Hathor shouted as she threw herself at the wide eyed Khepri who held her arms out to stop the larger girl. She failed miserably as Amun-Ra's cow headed daughter wrapped her into a tight embrace. Ah good, at least Khepri got along with both of his favorite daughters.

"Truth." Ma'at said simply as she quickly darted to Khepri's side. Amun-Ra beamed proudly, for he was a genius of geniuses, or was that genii? "She is quite cute."

Khepri's glare only grew, like sharp khopesh slicing through a ripe pomegranate.

"Fuck you!"

"Hathor, bring me a bar of soap. This cutie needs her mouth cleaned." Ma'at flashed the younger goddess a rather creepy looking grin. Well, at least they were getting along.

Amun-Ra's job here was done.

These people were really weird in my opinion. Eagleman Amun-Ra told me to call him 'Daddy' for some reason, and now I apparently had two older sisters, whatever sister meant. As weird as having a new 'family' was, their appearances were even weirder. Hathor continued the tradition of having the head of an animal, something called a cow according to Ma'at, who had a 'normal' face like myself and Isis, albeit with large wings on her back. They seemed nice enough, for now that is.

"That's the gaming room where Father likes to have game nights every third Saturday of the month." Ma'at said as she walked ahead of me down one of the palace's many hallways. Hathor was holding my hand, refusing to let go no matter how hard I struggled. A weird monster followed us, growling softly at any servant that scurried past us. Apparently its name was Ammit, and she enjoyed eating the hearts of sinners. "Osiris, Isis and Set usually come for that to play cards with Father."

Now that sounded fun, the eating of hearts not cards. Amun-Ra ditched after these two older girls showed up, the stupid loser said he had to go to work. I didn't get a good night's sleep due to that stuff Isis did to me when I got here. I still felt a pain in the back of my head if I didn't blink often.

"Sounds fun." I scratched the back of my neck. This dress felt weird, and it made me feel a bit itchy. Everything here was so foreign, and that was with me not having any memories other than a few flashes!

"Not really. One time we had to put the palace on lockdown when Sekhmet almost kidnapped Set. We found him tied up in a closet-" Ma'at closed Hathor's mouth with her hand.

"Anyways, we shall be your guides today. Ammit and I have to go to work in a little bit, but we can stick around for a while." Ma'at struggled to keep her hand over Hathor's mouth as the two started grappling each other.

"Ouch!"

"YOU JUST WANNA SEE THOTH!" Hathor shouted after she freed herself, biting Ma'at's hand in the process.

"No I don't, and you know I'm not a liar." Ma'at rubbed her injured hand. Ammit started growling at that last word, which was pretty cute in a terrifying sort of way.

"If you say so Ma." Hathor winked as I stood there awkwardly with Ammit grumbling next to me. The two sisters started bickering soon after.

I just wanted to get some sleep.

IM ALIVE, but I have an excuse! I lost interest in Worm for a while, and I wrote my first non-Worm story in years. Schnee: Hero or Huntress is my RWBY/MHA crossover and it also happened to be my longest story period. I wrote about 100k words in three months.

I also published Not an Egg, my Sonic/Worm crossover which features a JimCarrey!Robotnik!Taylor. It helped me get back into writing Worm stories.

Both can be found on my profile!

Now I just need to keep my inspiration alive.
