This is my version of what I believe should've happened at the end of S1E14, Broken, with Kate and Lucy a.k.a. Kacy.

Set sometime between 1x11 but before the hug and apology in 1x17. Kate is out enjoying her day off and gets pulled into an undercover mission Lucy is working on. To their mutual discomfort, they have to pretend to be a couple - FOR THE MISSION. That's right, y'all. It's a fake dating AU.

Kate Whistler's past life and secrets come back to haunt her and her worlds collide in all the ways she's tried to avoid. If they can overcome the day, can she and Lucy overcome their obstacles? Kacy goodness with sprinkles of Tenstler friendship goals for good measure.

"Lucy finds out that Whistler turned down a promotion in D.C." They had to know that would be a fanfic prompt for everyone, right? Here is my take on what could happen in 1x20, even though I know it will be completely wrong. Kacy Reconciliation!

I was pondering what it would take to get Lucy and Kate back together post 1x14 Broken, and this is what I came up with. Kacy all the way. Set some indeterminate time in the future.

Lucy and Kate aren't exactly on the best of terms. Kate is trying to figure out how to deal with that, while also dealing with memories of her brother, and a certain group of friends arriving for a visit. Kacy Endgame with a bit of angst, sprinkle of drama, and helpings of fluff when it matters.
