AU set before season one- five months after the Berrisford mission. Ben was going downhill fast. They had been out for ten years; they didn't have to kill anymore. He was losing his mind, but Zack couldn't stick around 24/7 to watch him. He left to go find someone that might actually be able to help his brother. He just hoped they were still alive.

This story picks up at the end of season 2 of Dark Angel and is my version of season 3. Max is now in charge of the transgenics and she appoints Alec as her second in command. When Max and Alec find out that they have a baby together courtesy of Manticore's meddling will they become the family they always hoped for? This is a Max, Alec and baby fic. Logan bashing. Enjoy!

In this sequel to "The Mix Tape," Max and Logan pursue another doctor whose research can potentially offer a cure for Logan. Despite Max's reservations, they set off on the adventure together. S1 M/L, X5 Family action, possibly a plot. Definite fluff. Back in progress...
