This is a story about barbarians. It is meant as something that would show how mean they were behaving. But it has become better with time. It was not meant to be a serious report on them. I tried to make it as authentic as possible. The one that I was really inspired by was from a Jack Palance movie where the king had killed the girl's father.

A young soldier reflects on her career so far. Joining up, Basic Training and first posting. Mostly very minor characters (in some cases unnamed in the book) being revisited It's a story about soldiers so "Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes."
