Moments entre Yuuri et Viktor.

One-shot companion to my medical AU fic "heal thyself" from Otabek's point of view born out of a handful of missing scenes and backstory that never made it into "heal thyself" that only took me four years to get around to finishing. Unfortunately, you really do need to read that first for this fic to make sense.

Yuuri Katsuki is the CEO and owner of the most secretive animal sanctuary on Earth, a place where multiple companies and free lance journalists tried to get into, whether by invitation or force. Viktor is hired to be the first one to shed light on what's going on inside of the place, no matter what.

Eight months of work brings Yuuri to the silver medal podium. It is not the work which he remembers, though; it's how cold the space beside him used to be.
