A series of drabbles set in verse on my RP blog where the sheer act of coming back to life was killing Sarah Shepard, so Cerberus used the DNA sequencing of a long extinct race rumored to have enhanced regenerative abilities. It worked, and she recovered in a fraction of the time. She was, however, changed slowly, not showing symptoms until her incarceration on Earth.

When an old enemy suddenly resurfaces, Commander Selena Shepard finds herself thrown into a world she would rather forget, with a woman she thought was dead. Once again, it's up to her to save the galaxy...if she could just keep it together.

The mission is clear: Rescue scientists and their research from Cerberus. A simple distraction from all the death and despair going on in the universe. That Shepard and Tali discover something about Garrus he never wanted them to know is a nice side-effect.

The Normandy crashed on an unknown jungle planet, and Shepard is presumed dead. But she came back from the dead once, and Kaidan refuses to sit around not knowing for sure. But the mass effect relays are broken, Edi isn't running the Normandy, and no one knows for sure if the Reapers are dead. Set right after the end of the game, if Shepard destroyed the Reapers. Strong language.

Kaidan Alenko knew he'd lost the woman he once loved, she'd moved on and he was happy for her. All he needed to do was tell her. Chapter 2: As Liara confesses that she was responsible for him being with Cerberus, Shepard cannot forgive or forget the asari's betrayal. Chapter 3: Miranda finally makes her peace with Shepard.
