After a tragic accident kills his best friend, Merlin leaves Ealdor to see more of the world. Returning 15 years later, he finds that Ealdor isn't the place it was 15 years ago, and the attractive blonde man certainly wasn't there.

Sequel of sorts to 'Dear Arthur'. Merlin has almost given up hope on Arthur ever returning, in fact he has pretty much given up hope in everything. But then Arthur returns, and things can only get better... Can't they? Rated 'T' for mentions of self-harm, attempted suicide, and possible violence.

This story is based on the picture of Merlin in a hollow tree, and on the myths, where Merlin is imprisoned in a tree. / After Arthur has died, Merlin doesn't know what to do. So he waits.

My take on what could happen next, after the end of Season 5. This includes action in the original time frame, then it moves forward to the 20th century, to the 1940s. This is a WIP, so posting will be irregular.

Sequel to Forgotten Lives. Six months have passed by and life is anything but normal despite Arthur wishing it were. Uther had his own plans for how his life should go and god help anyone who happened to get in his way. Plenty of friendship, adventure, angst and romance with a good dose of humor where needed. Lot's of favorite Merlin characters involved.
