In 2185, the Normandy approached Earth, transporting Commander Shepard to her trial. A strange anomaly resulted in the Normandy's destruction, and her escape pods- carrying most of Commander Shepard's team- were scattered through time. This is a preview, showing a snippet of each character in each time period.

Shepard may have been clean throughout her time in the Alliance, but it doesn't mean that she's forgotten about it. When things get particularly tense, that's when she thinks about it the most.

A little shipment of sand breaks open and Shep has to deal with the exposure and subsequent high. Annd then there's always the comedown that follows.
