Prologue: the introduction
\Hello everyone welcome to my first ever story, this is a special Genshin Impact AU. In this there will be a few changes: for one the main character is not either traveler but instead is a boy who can travel to different universes. The story will remain the same(mostly) with some altercations such as dialogue or a few plot elements added and/or removed here or there. Also I don't exactly remember every little detail of the game and its dialogue, so I'm going to be changing the dialogue but still get the point of conversations across. And please don't mind any spelling mistakes, I'm not that good at writing. Any way please enjoy!/
I find myself surrounded by white as far as I could see, then all of a sudden I'm standing in the clouds watching a mysterious staircase that lead to a platform and more importantly some giant door. At the top of the staircase I see two figures arrive at the top, these two figures are a boy and a girl who look to be younger than me, well physically of course, I'm pretty sure they're older than they look. These two figures look almost identical so I assumed they are twins. Once these twins got to the top of the staircase a third figure appeared out of thin air. "Who are you?!" The girl asks, "The sustainer of heavenly principles" the figure replies, this figure seems to give off some dark, yet divine aura, so I came to the conclusion she's some sort of god. "What do you want from us?" The boy asks, "The irrigation of mankind begins now!" This unknown god response was a strange one for sure. The unknown god the attacked the pair, creating some sort of cube underneath them. The duo immediately jump away and summoned wings and a sword each out of thin air, the a small battle begins, the pair attack the god but their attacks keep getting blocked by cubes, then as the go in for a strike from two sides, they get trapped via cubes surrounding their swords. The boy let's go of his sword and tries to attack the god. The boy's attack was unsuccessful due to the god using her power to turn the boy's weapon around and sent it flying towards him, killing him instantly. I would have tried to help but I already knew I couldn't move. "AETHER!!!" The girl called, "Lu...mi...ne" the mutters out before going into a rapid descent to who knows where, the girl apparently called Lumine looked at the unknown god with rage and sadness in her eyes. Unfortunately for Lumine the god simply surrounded her with cubes and seemed to teleport her away. Then as the girl vanished everything went black, then I woke up.
I shot up from my seat, 'I had that dream again' I thought, this was the fourth time in a row that I had that dream, just what could it mean? Right now I was in the multiverse library a seemingly endless library at the center of the multiverse, this library constantly magically records the history of everything in the multiverse, and gets new information each passing second. Oh! Wait! Where are my manners I forgot to introduce myself! Hi I'm Colton the Elementalist, I'm 18 years old physically but I've been alive for 21 years making me actually 21, how does that work you ask? To put it simply for the 6 years I've been going universe to universe, my body's aging process slowed down to... uh, I don't know I've never paid attention. I have curly brown hair and brown eyes, I have light skin, and I have a slight bit of muscle on me, mainly due to the fact I'm always moving and just laze around. Some important things you need to know is that I'm traveling around universes because mine was destroyed by the literal embodiment of darkness, I won't bore you with the details on that guy, just know he's a true immortal meaning he can not and will never just not exist, he is literally darkness itself, that has to exist and can't not exist and same with him. Back on topic, I have a few powers: I can create portals between universes and dimensions, I can also create any non-living object I want out of thin air except food, for some reason, oh and my best ability: the ability to create copies of abilities and/or attributes/traits of others. That last ability allowed me to gain even more power to use, such as my friend Silver the Hedgehog's psychokinesis. I don't have to worry about having too many powers because I'm able to store an endless amount of energy within myself. Lastly I have the power to control the 7 elements of the multiverse: Fire, Electricity, Earth, Wind, Water, Ice, and Light. I can control these elements because of the 7 special artifacts I have obtained in my adventures, these are the seven elemental orbs, mythical artifacts that grant their users complete and absolute control over their respective elements. I wear them on the elemental pendant, a white circlular object with 7 indents to fit the orbs, this pendant is connected to a kind of special chain that I use to keep it on me like a necklace. Why do I have these orbs? Simple I read that if one person gathers them all a miracle occurs, I at first thought they meant I could revive my dead universe, but I was wrong, instead gathering them all made me the elementalist that I am now. I can use the orbs to transform into elemental forms of their elements, as well as multi-element forms, my best form so far is my elementalist form, which is all 7 at once. That form isn't my strongest overall, but it is as powerful as I can go for now. Anyway that's all you need to know for now, let's get on with my story. "Hmm... Tevat, such an interesting place" I said looking at the book I'm reading, "I should go there, I know that's the universe connected to that recurring dream of mine". I got up, closed the book and opened a portal right next to me, "welp, it's time to explore a new world" I said as I walked into the portal.
\Thats it for the prologue, as I said there will be differences, such as the fact I killed Aether right off the bat, and Yes Lumine is still princess of the abyss, she's just more determined to reach her goal because of her brother's death. There will be a ship but I'm not going to reveal it until the hints start dropping. I hope you all enjoyed the story so far and will continue reading it as more characters come out.
