Chapter 1

Shaggy age 4

We see a 4 year old kid, Norville (Shaggy) Rogers crying as he is hugging his mother. His mother, Paula Rogers is comforting him. "It's okay, sweetheart. You're back, you're safe now. I know, this is so shocking for you" she soothed him. Her husband, Colton Rogers is standing by. We see a huge Ant lookingn creature standing by as well. He is taller than your average ant because he is from the underworld! "I can't believe this" Colton started."You took our son, when he was only 15 months old and you're giving him back now! You shouldn't even have taken him in the first place! Now, Norville thinks this is his first time meeting his mother for the first time in his life". The Ant creature gave a face of sympathy for the human child.

"I would have kept him, but I couldn't. Not with everything going on in the underworld right now. I thought it would be best to bring him back here, so he would safe… I'm only trying to be a good parent".

"You're not Norville's father, I am! Now, go before I call an exterminator!" Colton cried, angrilly. Poor Shaggy is still crying his eyes out. The creature looked down with a sad expression on his face, then gave one last look at Shaggy with his mother."I'm sorry, Norville" the ant creature took off, leaving the Rogers."It's okay, baby… the bad creature is gone, you can calm down, now" Paula soothed him. Shaggy finally started to calm down. He looked up at his mother, eyes red from crying.

"Oh, mommy. I'm so glad I'm here with you. Or else I would never have a mommy. I don't know what I would do if he never brought me back" Shaggy sobbed. Paula ran her fingers through her sons hair. Her lips started trembling."I'm glad you're here too, Norville. I love you. I'm sorry that bad creature took you in the first place" she told him. Mother and son cried together. Paula rocked Shaggy to sleep. Colton was still in the room. He gave a sad smile.

"We have to make sure this never happens again. We have to protect him at all costs. He's never allowed to do anything dangerous. Not allowed in the streets alone and we should know where he is at all times. Theirs to many child abductions now a days. I don't wanna take the risk. He's too young for this, Paula" Colton decided. Paula agreed." Yes. He's not going to any sketchy looking places either… even with friends". Colton nodded in agreement."So, it's agreed that Norville is supposed to be protected at all times, so this never happens again".

Present Day

Shaggy is now 18 years old in High School. This is his senior year and he only has a few months left till he's out. The weather is starting to change. The snow is starting to melt away, so spring can come. It's March and Shaggy couldn't have been better. He just got done with solving a mystery with Fred, Daphne, Velma and Scooby. On top of that, he was just so happy that he was gonna graduate High School this year. Then he would have more time to solve mysterious and decide what college to go to. Little did Shaggy know that he was just about to be involved in the most biggest mystery yet.

"Like, I can't believe it Scoob. We got that guy good" The 18 year old, Shaggy Rogers said, happily. Scooby Doo laughed.

"Reah, we caught that guy off guard. He never raw it coming" Scooby said, talking in his broken English.

"Hey, guys" the other 18 year old, Fred Jones started."This calls for a celebration".

"Let's say we get some ice cream" Velma suggested. Shaggy's and Scooby's eyes both lit up as their mouths started watering.

"Yeah, like, I could go for some ice cream right about now" Shaggy agreed."Reah, let's go" Scooby said."Alright, It's settled then. Let's go get some ice cream" Daphne stated. The gang headed off to get some ice cream to celebrate their best mystery yet. After their ice cream, the gang decided to head home for the night.

"Alright, gang… I gotta head home. I'll see ya tomorrow" Fred waved goodbye. Just as he turned to leave, Daphne stopped him."Fred wait" she called as she tapped him on his shoulder. Fred turned to his girlfriend with a smile on his face."Yeah, Daph?". Daphne leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. "I wanted to kiss you goodbye first" she added. Fred blushed."Well, thanks. I'm glad you stopped me. I – I better get going". Fred turned and continued to walk away. He stopped for a second with a smile on his face and sighed happily, before he continued to walk off. He is in love.

Later that night, Shaggy and Scooby went to bed, but Shaggy did not have a pleasant night. It felt like he had sleep paralysis! It happened late that night. Shaggy slowly opened his eyes, but something felt different. Something was just off. He felt like somebody or something was in his room! Like a stranger type of feeling. The 18 year old tried to sit up, but couldn't! He felt liken he was just stuck there! Again, he tried to move, but nothing. His muscles just wouldn't give in. All he could do was just move his eyes, which he did. Shaggy tried to call out for Scooby, but he couldn't open his mouth either. What was going on with him? All of the sudden, the young adult saw it… it was a giant creature in his room! It looked like a giant ant. The creature started to move closer to the boy.

Sweat is now coming down on Shaggy's face… Shaggy is terrified. His heart is pounding, he felt like he was all alone in his room with this creature. Where was Scooby?! The creature is now right next to Shaggy! It raises it's arm up to snatch the teen, but suddenly, growling was heard. The creature turned to see Scooby Doo. Scooby growled some more.

"Get away from my Rhaggy". Scooby started barking which scared the creature away. The ant like creature took one last look at Shaggy before he jumped out the window. After making sure the creature was gone, Scooby jumped on the bed to make sure his boy is okay.

"Are you okay, Rhaggy?". Shaggy tried to talk, but he still couldn't, he still couldn't move either. How long is this going to last?

"Rhaggy?" Scooby tired again, he still didn't' get an answer, which worried him. Another minute or two passed until, Shaggy tried to do anything again."Scooby Doo" Shaggy spoke in a small voice. The great Dane's eyes lit up as he wagged his tail."Rhaggy!" Scooby then, licked his owners face. Shaggy sat up in his bed and pulled his knees up to his chest.

"Like, what was that, Scoob? What happened?"."A monster tried to get you, but I stopped him" Scooby explained."Good boy, Scoob. But, like, why couldn't I move or say anything?" Shaggy asked in a shaky voice.

Authors Note: This is my first chapter of my first Scooby Doo story. Hope you enjoyed so far. Just to let you know that the gang are all one year older in this fic.
