So this is the kid.
Zeke looked at the teen who was turned to ash from the fire.
This teen wanted to be his made up, Superhero Kid Flash.
He wanted to be from a long line of famous speedsters.
He wanted to go to a top-notch school and not worry about money problems.
He wanted to be on a superhero team and not just any but the best.
Two aliens, one Atlantean and two heroes taken under billionaire wings.
The teen wanted to go on interesting adventures secretly.
He wanted his mentors to have an HQ in space.
Now, normally these things would be impossible to accomplish.
Atlanteans died when their city sunk and can you imagine, meeting two aliens from two different planets before the world does?
If his dream came true, his hero team would be historical.
The world of superheroes would be a lot more fascinating.
Well, Zeke had been commissioned to it and he had a typewriter to accomplish it.
Unfortunately, he had to super describe everything for anything to come true, including where it came from.
So he sat down and wrote a body for the teen, he wrote it in such a way that the teens new freckles were the thing that made him look ordinary and didn't make people pay attention to him.
If the teen put a mask on and hid the freckles, he would probably look like a completely different person.
He finished and made a room for the teen and then he began making the teens new parents and weighted clothes and lighter food with little impact.
The food was important to make the teen think that he had the superspeed hunger and the clothes was to give him an explanation on why he couldn't run.
He had to find a way for the kid to develop Superspeed without the use of something.
Here, Superheros don't develop superpowers they had a device to give them that or a Kwami.
So he was going to have to do a lot of reading on the human body, normal and in super mode.
With how American superheroes don't really hide their identities, there were bound to be some that had been examined by science.
He really spent time making the house and the family and then went to Bed himself.
His alarm woke him up and he saw that the teen was stirring awake.
The teen sat up and look wide-eyed at the room that was clearly not his own.
They both heard a knock on the door and the teen's new mother said. "Wally, rise and shine sleepy head. Isn't this your first day of school?"
He could feel the visible confusion from the teen and it took a bit for the teen to stop pinching himself to get ready and see his changed appearance in the bathroom mirror.
Green eyes, freckles, red hair.
The teen said. "Woah. This guy looks like.."
Wally West.
The teen didn't dare to hope and changed into the typical teenager, yellow shirt under a red short sleeve shirt, pants and jeans.
There was weight and the teen opened up the door and saw his new family below the staircase.
His new dad said. "And there he is. What took you so long sport?"
The teen was hesitant before replying and coming down and quickly enjoyed the massive breakfast cooked for him.
Zeke had to smile when the teen heard that today was his first day at Collège Françoise Dupont and that he should keep his speed on the down-low.
Being naturally gifted superpowers was rare.
The teen promised that he would be unremarkable and forgettable today.
His new dad said. "That's my son"
After breakfast, the teen was driven to the school and dropped off.
Then he walked up the steps and introduced himself as Wally West to the class.
Not rich-looking or hot, he was just okay.
Zeke went to get sleep for two hours and returned at lunchtime.
He saw the teen look at the glamorous group with supermodel Adrien Agreste in the centre, and then shook his head and kept walking.
The kid could say hi, attempt to make friends with all those amazing influential teens but that was the opposite of trying to remain a nobody.
He meanwhile, prepared for tomorrow, where the kid would realise this was real and start asking questions and see if he truly had super speed.
He came up with the great idea of creating super speed clothes and then having the food slowly introduce the power to his body.
He created a false back to the wardrobe where the suit and googles would be.
He was truly preparing for the next day and the next day arrived, again he woke up at the same time as the teen who was understandably shocked that he was still here.
And the teen ran, the clothes kicked in, the teen obviously couldn't control it and smacked into the wall, the sound makes the teen new mom ask if everything was okay.
However, the move proved to make the teen happy because once he stopped hurting, the teen said. "This is real. I'm my story character Wally West."
Then the teen said. "Artemis and the others are real." Before saying. "Wait. My super suit!"
And then he ran around and was out of control again.
He crashed.
The teen said, groaning. "I need to learn to control this or the others will think I'm an imposter. I don't want to get my ass kicked by my fictional hero squad. Especially not my girlfriend, no matter how hot that would be. Thank God, nobody has called yet"
They haven't called because there is nobody there. Zeke thought, does the kid knew the work that goes into making a billionaire's adopted son?
You need an airtight identity for something so high profile.
The teen said. "Would it be strange for Kid Flash to have a social media because this is really cool?"
And then the teen was reminded of breakfast and school.
The teen went to school and sure enough, after school, the teen went looking for the suit and discovered the cool thing about his wardrobe.
The teen gawked when it opened up revealing the yellow and orange Kid Flash suit with the lightning googles on a stand.
The teen of course quickly tried it on and looked great.
Zeke tried not to laugh as the teen struck Heroic poses in the bathroom mirror for half an hour.
The suit came with an embedded voice changer and super suit.
And then the teen found the hidden-phone that unlocked with his finger and there was an empty social media account with Wally West superhero face on.
Yes, he was going to allow this.
The teen let out a shout of job.
Zeke then continued writing while Wally was trying to control his speed.
The next day, he had a surprise for the teen.
It was a full family dinner, which included the Flash, Uncle Barry Allen and his grandpa, the original Flash, Jay Garrick with his wife.
The teen couldn't hide his smile.
It wasn't every day that you get to have dinner with your superhero family and they were so casual about using their powers around you.
Once, the teen got his speed under control, he started to VBlog where he used his speed to go to various places in the world.
The embedded stuff really helped.
But man was it entertaining to see the teen encounter superheroes from around the world.
And word got around fast about this speedster.
And of course, the teen encountered supervillains and thugs too and almost died.
It was good experience for him since he wouldn't be so green behind the ears when he did some actual superheroing.
Some superheroes pretended to stumble onto him when it was obvious they had been stalking him.
Thankfully, the teen was smart enough to not make it obvious where he lived.
By the time, he visited Paris publicly in his suit, he had almost 1M followers and the city was in an uproar.
Ladybug and Cat Noir came to say Hello and take pictures.
They weren't the only ones as his Vblog had quickly become a place to see superheroes around the world for a lot of people.
Zeke smiled when he saw Wally having fun.
Who could say, they were doing this right now?
It was almost a slap in the face when the teen went to class the next morning as a nobody and the people who wanted to meet him just hours before, now didn't even look his way.
The price of a secret identity.
Now Zeke had arranged a surprise for Wally, a visit from the easiest team member he could make, the leader.
Kaldur'ham, Kaldur for short, who was Aqualad.
He realised he didn't have to make the whole of Athlatia, just a place for the teen to stay and make sure his body could survive it.
The guy was black with shaved yellow hair, deep black eyebrows and the most beautiful crystal grey eyes you had ever seen, add that to his sharp chin and plump lips, the guy was gorgeous.
Easily turning heads worthy.
Well, it would be a huge disappointment if a person who was supposed to be from an underwater advanced civilisation showed up with normal looks.
First impressions matter.
Wally was surprised to see the guy in his home drinking tea with his mother when he came home, but once he saw his looks he didn't complain.
Aqualad turned to him and said, formally. "Sorry to drop in on you but Kid Flash can I talk to you?"
And Wally was shaken that somebody knew his identity but then he saw the gills and realised who he was, and said. "U-Ur, sure. Aqualad"
And then they went to his room.
Aqualad said once they had privacy. "I've come to inform you that the Hall of Heroes will be opening up to the public soon. The world will soon have access to the history of Heroes. For the hall safety, it will be done digitally. It's much too dangerous for the location to fall into public hands."
The teen straightened up while thinking about how cool this was.
Aqualad then handed him something high-tech looking and said. "Batman wants you to inform the public through your connection with them. On this, is the location of the hall. Do not show anybody this and when your mission is complete, it will cease to exist. The hall's location must be as guarded as possible."
And the teen said. "It's in the right hands. I won't fail you"
Cool stuff was happening!
Aqualad said. "Good. When things have stabilised with the Hall. You'll be asked to Rendezvous at the hideout. Well, be in touch"
And the guy was about to leave when Wally said. "Ur, wait."
Aqualad stopped and turned around.
Wally said, embarrassingly. "Can I do something with you for social media?"
The other stared before said. "I don't see why not"
Wally tried not to cheer as he went to change into his costume.
And then while recording, Wally fired off the cheesiest jokes under the voice changer they had ever heard and Aqualad went from normal to WTF to 'im leaving now' and left.
Wally titled it 'Told cheesy jokes to my team leader. He didn't seem to appreciate it.
Before advertising the hall.
As he did this, Wally had the biggest smile on his face.
He had met Aqualad.
Zeke was happy to see a vital part of the team had been brought to life.
And neither of them realised it yet, but they had done something they probably shouldn't have.
Black guys rarely look good in this universe, for some reason, most look awful, so it was a blessing when you find somebody looking decent.
So what happens when the world sees a black guy breaks the ugly curse?
They were about to find out.
