Hey everybody! Welcome to my first requested story I've ever done. It took me about a year to figure out what kind of story I should make when doing a Disney fanfic focusing on so many movies and stuff. After time and bit of research, and a bit more inspiration, I've finally found something which I think that retro mania (my requester from last year) should like. Anyway, I like to call this new series of mine: The Disneyverse, and this is the first story I'm attempting to make. However, due to so many Disney-related stuff, I decided to break it down into parts. The first-part you will find in the first chapter after every prologue of each part. Also, to tell you guys ahead of time. Whenever the story focuses outside the Disney movies and stuff, there will be originality while some worlds, depending on what it is that focuses on Disney-related characters, there will also be originality. I hope you like them.
Now, I don't own any of the characters within the Disney universe, those go to their respective owners. As for the main character though, half of the credit goes to retro mania for creating the first name and a small description while the rest I did myself. However, other characters you will see somewhere in the story belong to me.
Enjoy!
Prologue
Have you ever wondered what it is like to see your ordinary life turn upside down? How things simply became normal, then next thing you know...poof, you find out everything you know is not what it seems.
Maybe I should start over and tell you how it all started. First, my name is Tracy Kaden, I'm just an average fifteen-year old girl who's still in high-school. Living in a peaceful quiet town called: Glendale Town. My life is basically simple. Leave the house, go to school, come home, then everything repeats. To tell you the truth, things are a bit too quiet around here, and there's barely anything to do here. In short, the place was boring. I know my dad loves this place, he lived here with my mother before they got engaged and I came into the world. Not to go off topic on that story, maybe it's time I told you how everything changed for me on that single day.
I was in the library, one of my most favorite places to go in school because I love to read. I was searching for a book, hoping there was a new one that just got placed on the shelves. If there wasn't, then I could always read the same ones I already read. While I was searching, I heard something fall to the floor. Looking down, I noticed a very odd book I've never seen before. Picking it up, the book had no title as the whole cover was royal red and at the center it had three circles that formed a mouse head which was weird. I've never seen a book like this before.
"Do you like the book?" An elderly voice said right next to me. I gasped and jumped as I saw an elderly man who wore a gentleman outfit that consisted of a blue suit, blue jeans, and blue dress shoes. He had a blue bowler hat with a white stripe and he had a long grey beard that reached his chest, and he looked...well, intimidating. "Forgive me for startling you, Ms. Tracy Kaden."
I was shocked. "H...How do you know my name?" I asked him.
He gives me a small smile, breaking away from his intimidation as he gives a small chuckle and answers, "I know more than just your name."
Okay, this was really weird. He didn't look like he worked here. So who was he and does he know anything about me? Putting that out of my head, I looked at the book I was holding and back at him. Putting two and two together, I pointed at the book and asked him, "Is this yours?"
"In a way." I offered the book back to him, but he gently pushed it back to me. "I suggest you hold on to it. That book is very special and it will guide you in your journey to come."
I was confused. How is this book special? I mean, it is new, yes, but why is it special? "O-kay…" I said slowly. "I'm just gonna…" I started moving back. "Back away for a bit."
The man seemed to smile as if he wasn't fazed at how weirded out I was. Seriously though, who was this guy?
As I put enough distance between me and this weird old man, I leaned my back against the shelf and opened the book. There was a strange but small gust of wind as I looked around, then it was gone. I looked back at the old man and said, "Sir, did you open…" I was going to finish by saying "a window?" at the end, but the old man was gone. He just...disappeared.
I sighed and nodded as I moved my strand of blonde hair behind my ear. This day just couldn't get any weirder than this…
I was wrong, it just got weirder.
The page I was looking at was empty. Turning to another page, it was also empty. What's going on here, is this some kind of joke from that old man? I gasped as the pages moved on their own, then stopped at a page as words appeared as it said:
To the temporary caretaker of this book
You are about to enter the multiverse
Your journey is about to begin and I will be your guide
Until you return me to my original owner
"Multiverse?" I muttered while confused. "What's that?"
I didn't know what happened next, but the pages glowed and everything around me glowed white. I couldn't feel anything solid as I fell to what looked like a blue tunnel filled with swirling streaks of white while I screamed. There was a flash of light and I hit something hard and blacked out.
Little would I realize the moment I woke up...everything was about to change for me.
