CHAPTER ONE: ABIOGENESIS

I can touch the sky, I know I'm alive.

HER EYES FLUTTERED OPENED, for a light shimmering across her face, radiating warmth onto her cheek. She waited until her vision adjusted itself before opening her emerald eyes. "W-Where am I?" asked a soft voice. That was all she could ask herself as she noticed that she was in a forest instead of where she previously was. "Am I dead? If not... then how come I'm still alive?" she questioned, looking at her body that was covered in scars and bruises. She knew she wasn't in the same spot where she blacked out. From what she could tell, she still felt weak from the blood loss. The vines that surrounded her body, their thorns pricking and digging at her creamy skin bound above her head her hands. She carefully tugged one of her wrists out of the vines, not wanting to cause the thorns to open up a minor wound effectively. A grunt left her lips as she tore her hands out of the vines. Moka sat up to take in all her surroundings.

"H-How did I get here? A few moments ago... I was in Tsukune's arms and then..." her recalling only allowed itself to trail into pure silence. Moka only stared forward as she tried to recollect the recent memories of the last time with Tsukune before passing out into the darkness. All she remembered was being pierced in her body by many tentacles along with her loved one and then...

In an instant, a hand flew its way to her head. A groan made its way out of her lungs as an excruciating pain made its presence known. As the severe throbbing continued, a series of visions of herself, Tsukune being impaled, and a hand drop lifelessly flashed themselves in her mind. Her eyes opened in realization. "What is this? D-Does this mean... that I was…" she questioned to herself. "No…I can't be." No matter how much she wanted to remember what happened, she just couldn't...

Moka didn't know if she had the strength to move or not. She felt light-headed. As of right now, she didn't wish to move a single inch at all. She just wanted to lay there for the rest of her life and...probably die, if she wanted to or not. But the only thing she could do was at least try to see the results. She carefully and gently pushed herself off the ground. Finally, standing up on her feet, she carefully examined herself. Blood was painted on her bare body from the wounds she received from the one who killed her. They didn't appear to be in good shape at all and looked like they could get even worse if she didn't get them treated soon enough. "I...have to find somewhere to stay. I can't stay out here, that's for sure."

She steadily walked, trying to avoid the pain that was surging through her body from her wounds, still there and lying on the hard ground. Ignoring the pain, she continued in the forest.

Starting, exploring, and wandering through the forest, she quickly ran and looked for shelter as quiet raindrops shed softly from above and onto the ground, landing lightly, dripping, from the hardwood on the rough branches connected to the trees. A gasp made its way out of her lips when she tripped on a limb and saw her entire world spin around. She went tumbling down a muddy hill, a few sharp ends of tree branches piercing through her. She grunted in pain as she felt herself on the ground again. Moka tried to push herself up, only to flinch when she felt the pain shoot through her lower abdomen.

"It hurts..." she muttered, trying to sit up. Deciding that trying to do so was futile, she just gave up and lay there. She let the small drops of water rain down on her from the sky, causing a burning reaction to her skin. A hiss left her mouth, trying to endure the painful sensation. She didn't seem to care that she was being drenched and soaked by the rain that was falling from the skies. The loss of consciousness took its toll, her eyes almost forcing themselves closed. 'It's okay. At least I tried staying strong...' she said in her head. 'I guess it's okay, then. It was worth a try, wasn't it?' The warmth of her liquid drained its way out of her fragile body. She felt utterly frigid and weak. The cold was taking over her body, making it to where she could barely move. Her eyes allowed themselves to close, hoping that the heavens would take her away from this world that didn't seem to want her in it.

When she felt her life gradually slipping away from her, she smiled sadly.

However, she could not feel the pair of strong arms gently wrapping themselves around her body, lifting her and holding her against a soft chest. The quiet words that were being whispered to her went unheard, but when she peeled open her eyes, shivering violently, she could see the hopeful, yet half-smile of the boy that held her so softly as she had never been held before.

A faint smile made its way to her lips as his pink hair reminded her of something she had hoped never to see again. "Oh... Tsu...kune..." she murmured weakly before allowing the darkness to consume her vision.

The pink-haired man stared at the girl in his arms. Pulling his eyes away from her frame and focusing again on the road in front of him, he frowned. He needed to get her help; she was gravely injured. If he'd gotten here sooner, she'd probably be in a better state than she already is.

Her long, pink hair was soft, and it spread out on his arm as he walked fast toward where his friends were. One of his friends can help her.

The girl groaned and turned her head to the side; she was moving, and that was a good thing. When he found her, blood was splattered on her bare pale skin. She looked awful, and to top it off, her skin was cold as ice. Even now, with his giant arms wrapped around her petite frame, she was still shivering violently, her hands pressed against his chest, shaking hard.

Even though the wounds and the blood, she still looked like an angel to him. She looked fragile... and he decided that from the moment he had laid eyes on her, that he wanted to protect her from anything or anyone harmful that would dare try to hurt her.

"Tsuku…ne. Until I met you…I had nothing… Every day was as empty as the one before… But you…changed that. You lit up my days. You gave me a reason to live…"

"I love you, Moka. I love you so, so much… I can never imagine a day, without you..."

"But…I'm…just a fake…" Tsukune only looked down at Moka with love-filled eyes through his tears. "Eheh… It almost feels like I could come back to life… I'm so glad…"

Through her blurry vision, she watched the person she loved slowly lean in towards her face and gently press his mouth to hers. Moka allowed her eyes to slowly fall closed and tearfully returned the kiss. Both of them cared little of the blood that soiled their lips. They cared little about what was taking place worldwide. This very moment was what mattered to them the most.

"I love you too. Ever since the first moment I met you, I've loved you. I don't want to disappear...I want to stay here. By your side...forever...and ever..."

Tsukune gently embraced the vampiress to his chest. "It's okay...We'll always be together. Forever and ever..."

Her eyes shot open as the memories of her very last moments with Tsukune flooded through her mind. When she woke up, she found herself in a place that seemed to be in a medical room or more precisely, a resting room. She turned her head slightly as she heard cheering, yelling, and chattering from outside the infirmary. Moka didn't fail to notice that she was the only one in the room, no one else.

She pulled the covers off, wanting to leave as soon as possible, only to stop to examine herself. Someone had bandaged her torso, but because of having a body that heals rapidly, she only saw a small amount of blood seeping through them. 'Who…who helped me?'

Her head snapped its way towards the door when she heard the knob shake a bit. She could only sit and wonder who would come here to check on her. Maybe the one who saved her.

"Do you know who the girl is, Master? You know we must ask her a few questions once she's awake." sounded a soft, feminine voice.

"I'm not certain, but we will find out what happened to her." answered an old man's voice. She watched the door open to reveal a rather beautiful lady with wavy white locks and a tiny older man that adorned a mustache. The older man's face slightly lit up when he finally noticed that she had awoken. "Ah, I see that you are awake." the old man said in a stern, yet reassuring voice.

Moka hugged the sheets closer to her chest. "Where... where am I? How did I get here?" she questioned, sounding a little shakier than she intended.

"You don't exactly know where you are?" Makarov asked, surprised she didn't know where she was.

She shook her head hesitantly. "U-Um… No...I don't." she hesitantly answered. Moka broke her gaze from the two to remember where she once was at the time of her "death".

"Greetings, everyone. We will be landing shortly. For your safety, please return to your posts." announced the intercome, making Moka stand up in confusion.

"What…? Landing where?" she questioned Akua with curiosity. She looked out the flying blimp's window and saw that they were still 4,000 meters above japan. "We're still way up in the air..."

Akua merely chuckled, catching Moka's attention. She waited for this moment for her dear sister to become interested in the place where they were to land soon. "You'll see in a minute. You're going to be so surprised!" she said with confidence.

A grunt only left Moka's throat in response. Her half-sister's answer didn't seem to help her nerves either. Much to her anxiety and frustration, she was currently being kidnapped to an unknown place away from her friends. Moka said nothing and went back to staring out the window. Her eyes widen in shock as a large building buried deep in the clouds came into view. "W...W-What the...?"

"We call it..."

"The Floating Garden," she uttered slowly to herself. "All I remember is being held captive in this place called "Floating Garden" before passing out and finding myself here. I don't know exactly where I am."

"Floating Garden?" both the elderly man alongside the girl repeated, slightly confused about what it meant.

"What exactly is Floating Garden?" the woman asked.

"Yes. It's a floating fortress; to be more specific, it's a base that's located far above Japan in the Human World," she explained, hugging the sheets to her chest. "H-Hold on… Is…that where I am?"

"Hmm?" questioned the old man, tilting his head to the side in confusion. "Japan?"

"Yes." Moka turned to look at both of them and asked. "Is that where I still am? It's a country that's in the human world. I was there before passing out."

"Human World?" the short elderly master reiterated. "Japan?"

Both the older adult and the woman exchanged confused expressions. Everything this girl was telling them was very much new and unexpected to them. They had never seen or heard of such a country named "Japan". Neither a world titled the "Human World".

The master cleared his throat and spoke up. "I must apologize, my dear, but I'm afraid we do not know any place nor country you call Japan."

The pinkette's face faltered as what they said to her was false. "Well, do you at least know where I am and how I got here in the first place? Do, please explain."

The man nodded to the girl beside him, who nodded in return. "I know that we said that we don't know of this country, Japan, but we'll try to explain it to you, nice and easy." the white-haired woman explained. "You're in Fiore."

The pinkette tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Fiore?"

"Yes. You're here in a town called Magnolia, and right now, you're in the infirmary of the wizard guild, Fairy Tail." the woman explained.

"F-Fairy Tale?" she nearly stammered in fear. It wasn't in the exact words that the pair meant. Her words were referring to a different subject. A dangerous subject. "So…you're with them?!" she slightly snapped, backing away from the people, who might not be as nice as she thought.

"Them?" the man repeated, taken aback by her change of attitude. "What do you mean, child?"

"Those bastards who caused all of this," she replied sharply with coldness. "The destruction of Japan, the deaths of innocent people, and…" she paused, her mind drifting back to the time she got pierced through the chest, which resulted in her supposedly "death". "…me being killed." she finished, lowing the covers to show off her bandaged torso. "You brought me here to kill me, didn't you?" she inquired, glaring harshly at the pair before her.

"Bastards, you say?" the master repeated, raising an eyebrow. He was offended that this girl would make such accusations of wrongdoings they wouldn't even dare to commit but remained calm as not to explode and scare her off. "Now, do you honestly believe we're those kinds of people who brought you here to ensure your safety? If we truly held such ill-intentions, you wouldn't have awoken inside our guild hall."

It was then, she realized that they were talking about two different topics.

Fairy Tale.

A terrorist organization injured and nearly killed her friends when they infiltrated Fairy Tale's headquarters to rescue her. She was held hostage with no way to escape for one thing only. The revival of Alucard, the legendary Shinso Vampire, who once attempted to wipe out the human race entirely. After they would succeed in awakening Alucard, her life would no longer have a purpose. She was only an "artificial personality" created to protect the seal. A "fake" made in her "mother's" image.

Fairy Tail.

The two people standing in front of whom they both claimed to be in a wizard guild. From the moment they had walked in to check on her, she received nothing but questions to answer. Details of the Floating Garden and Japan were widely unknown to the pair. Not to mention, if they wanted to end her life, they would've done so from the moment she woke up. Since she answered their questions and still breathing, it proved to her that they were harmless and kind people. However, Moka wasn't going to lower her defenses just yet. She still didn't know where she was and knew nothing about the two.

Moka held her intense gaze with the old man but calmed down a little. "Sorry. It's just when you said Fairy Tail, it reminded me of a group that's called Fairy Tale."

"There was a group called exactly of the same name as our guild?" the master inquired.

"Well...I guess you can put it that way," she answered with uncertainty. "Fairy Tale is a group of assassins I was referring to earlier..." She explained every little detail about Fairy Tale and how they threw harmony into chaos and ruled over the Human World. She started to feel more comfortable while she continued explaining everything to the two who stayed by her side as silent tears began to fall.

As she finished, she let her unwanted tears shed down on her hand. The white-haired lady looked at the pinkette with kind, motherly eyes and pulled her into an embrace. Moka leaned into her hug, loving the warmth that radiated off her. She let the woman stroke her hair in comfort.'I haven't felt like this in so long. It reminds me of my mother when she was alive.' She closed her eyes, her mind flashing back from when her mother was alive and well. She wasn't sure if she even had a mother at all, let alone family. She knew and understood that she was a mere clone of the real Moka's mother...but she didn't know what else to think of herself, seeing that she was still alive with the seal broken. 'What am I, now? Am I just an empty shell, now that the seal is broken and can't be fixed?' She didn't know what to think of herself, but she aimed to find out, sooner or later...

TO BE CONTINUED...

Before I can do anything else with this story, let me just explain a few things. I'm not really a big fan of Fanfiction, so I don't plan on doing anything else with this fic. Why am I here, if I don't like Fanfiction? Because my friends won't stop bugging me about it and convince me to just give a try. In my opinion, I think everyone is a fucking asshole in Fanfiction. Yeah, you can say I'm the fucking asshole. I don't care. I know all of you are going to be an asshole, on why I decided to give the dead outer Moka an after story and not put Inner Moka in the story. Why? Because I wanted to. Before you say that Outer Moka is a fake and a clone of her mother, I'm not a fucking idiot. And besides, who gives a flying shit, if Outer Moka is a fake and a clone of her mother? What is the fucking big deal? I don't care if it's right, or wrong. Inner Moka gets a happy ending, but Outer Moka can't have an happy ending, because she's a fake and a clone of her mother? Yeah, you can take a shit on my story and make my life a hell all you want, because I know the story will get a lot of negative views. To be specifically honest, I don't really give a rat's ass what any of you think of this story. If you don't like the fact that I'm only including Outer Moka, then you can EAT SHIT AND FUCK OFF! Yeah, I'm an asshole, with anger issues, don't care. Some people have the fucking audacity to be fucking, ungrateful bastards to other authors for writing whatever the hell they want on Fanfiction, so why not expect an author to be one in retaliation? I'm not trying to get anyone's fucking respect, and some of you probably don't want my respect. Like I fucking care. People get positive reviews for putting Inner Moka in fanfics and not include Outer Moka, but when someone just wants to put Outer Moka in fanfics, they start asking questions and say that "she's a fake" or "she's a clone" and they get a lot of shit for it. I mean, what the fuck? I understand that people are obsessed with Inner Moka, but they find the outer side of her useless. I don't give a shit whose fake, or not, I like Outer Moka, better than Inner Moka. Why? Because she kind-hearted and innocent, and that's the kind of character I prefer and like. And I'll straight up admit it. I'M NOT AN INNER MOKA FAN. And if you don't respect that I like Outer Moka, in my opinion that makes you an asshole. I know all of you are gonna say, that a fanfic like this won't work, but I don't give a crap. This is my first time and probably my last time ever being here. So be it.
