Luffy traveled back in time. He actually did it. He was going to save everyone. Hopefully Sabo, Zoro, Torao, and Marco made it back as well. Eh, they definitely did.
He woke up sweating, his clothes sticking everywhere, black hair matted to his forehead. First things first, shower. Then, figure out what year it is. Hmm, nope. Shower, then food.
There was a lot to think about. If he changed too much, he risked ruining the time-line and not knowing what was going to happen next to prevent it if need be. But, if he let things play out as they did, then people would suffer. Thinking always made his head hurt. Thankfully, Marco,Sabo and Torao planned well and could beat it into Zoro and I, Shishshishishi. He scrubbed down and rinsed off the soap. He could think more after he ate.
It was the morning, so he could smell Makino cooking, he quickly put his clothes on and ran down the stairs, rolling down the last few steps after tripping.
"Luffy, what has gotten into you," Makino said as she rubbed his shoulders, Luffy holding onto her for dear life.
"Nothing, I just missed ya," Luffy murmured into her dress. Makino laughed, "Luffy, I just saw you last night. "
Luffy just grinned and ran back upstairs.
Being back was harder than he thought. He almost sobbed seeing Makino again. He wondered how the rest of his crew was doing and Torao. How he missed him. It was a surprise for him when they ended up in a relationship. He had no idea he could feel the things he did when he was with Torao. Torao was special. He only wished he was old enough and strong enough to help him and prevent Cora-san' s death. Hopefully, Torao was enough to stop Mingo's plan. His next plan of action was locating Sabo, being a noble had its perks, including having money to purchase a special den den mushi that couldn't be tapped to call Marco. And hopefully, Law had gotten in contact with Marco, Marco being the only one with immediate access to a snail once they landed in the past.

I know, I know it's a time travel AU which has been done many times over but some of the best ones are unfinished :( so here I am adding my two cents, I will def be inspired by many other AUs I've read in the past but I am here to write my own story so while it may have similar elements I won't be poaching.
