A month has flown by since the gathering on, first beach and not much has happened, it's been rather nice to tell you the honest truth! Today we have our first proper family meal, with Paul and Embry, without other pack or council members, and I decided to throw them an English roast dinner with all the trimmings! I ordered a few things online a few weeks ago when the idea popped into my head! I had one once, with Renee and one of her boyfriends, at a pub in New York a few years back, and been dreaming of it ever since.
Sam's also convinced there's more than one baby cooking in my belly, and I hear a: there is from my husband, who's stuffing the chicken, as he hears my thoughts through our telepathic link. We will see, on Monday I tell him, placing my hand over my little bump, as I decided I needed something sweet. I also noticed Kim hadn't been around Jared as much and wondered what was going on there. We'd all figured out they were never truly mates, which is why he never told her about us all being wolves, it was all beginning to make sense. Sam and I had worked that one out pretty quickly.
"Hey! Can we pop to Forks, to grab some last-minute items? I don't think we have enough food for the four of us!" I ask my husband out loud who comes over after he finished the chicken.
"Sure thing, baby! I was thinking that too, shall we go now? They aren't due for another four hours, and it's now just past eleven o'clock on a Sunday morning, so I'm pretty sure they'd be open now." He said, coming behind me, spinning me around and kissing my lips, which led to other things, as he took me from behind as I stared out of the kitchen window, and into the forest. I could have sworn I saw something love through the trees and Sam instantly stopped still inside of me, pulling my top down and bringing me up close to his chest, having seen what he saw through my eyes.
Stay very still, baby.
I did as he instructed, following his lead as we reluctantly separated, both of us feeling the loss, instantly. Sam turned me around and lifted me up in his arms, we kissed briefly, as he carried me upstairs to our room.
"Phone Paul baby, and get Embry to stay with you, whilst Paul, Jared and I search the area! They moved too fast to be human, love." I took hold of his face and kissed him with everything I felt.

Always, baby. I won't leave you unprotected, I won't go out until the boys get here. Thankfully our room is fairly big enough for me to phase don't move from the bed baby. I wouldn't forgive myself if I accidentally hurt you.

He placed me on the bed and handed me his phone, which I quickly unlocked and found Embry's number as Sam phased and howled, the calling howl. Embry texted me back instantly, saying they are on their way. I quickly changed into a forest green bodysuit, and leggings, as Sam chucked some shorts on. I stood in front of our mirror and noticed our baby showing some more.
"Am I seeing things, hubby?" I asked him, as he walks up behind me and placed both hands on my belly. Kissing the bite mark on my neck.
"I swear it's grown since we were downstairs."
"I sensed more than once in the oven baby when I phased, he noticed and accepted the pups as his." I placed my hands over his and we shared a kiss.
That's all the confirmation I need.

My Queen, my wife, my life, the mother of my pups, my love. A knock on the door broke us out of our little bubble, and Sam took hold of my hand.
Let's see how long it takes them to notice.
Though if we all have to phase, then the cat is out the bag, as I won't be able to stop thinking about them or you! I'm not sure I'll be able to keep that private.

We went outside, and Sam held me close, wrapping his arm around our babies, to protect them from view. We weren't ready yet and liked having a secret to ourselves.
"Everything okay, boss?" Jared asked.
"We saw movement in the forest opposite our kitchen window, and when they noticed Bella had sensed them, it was gone too quickly to be human. I want Embry to stay with Bella, whilst the three of us search the forest, but not too far from the house."
"Well, why don't I go to just before the treaty line, and you two circle the inner area? It's no secret Kim and I aren't together anymore! She's already told half, if not the whole of La Push and Forks by now, between her and her mother!" He grumbled, cringing.
"Why did you stay with her for so long?" I asked him, to be nosy for my own food, sometimes.
"Familiarity, normality and being first mates, I had nothing really to compare it to, so I just went with what the elders described, as it felt the same between me and Kim like it always had since we were fourteen/fifteen."
Nobody said anything after that, Sam kissed me, then he, Paul and Jared drifted into the forest as Embry and I walked inside the house. I made a beeline for the kettle, I'm so thankful I can hear Sam's thoughts. I'd be a nervous wreck if it wasn't for our telepathic link.
Embry and I didn't say anything to each other for a while! We've never asked him, Paul, or Jared and Kim if they have a special connection with one another like me and Sam do as we didn't want to, plus we also didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
It was only when he let rip a loud wet fart, and unfortunately, an eggy fart did things change, as I rushed to the sink and threw up! Thankfully my husband had washed up as I finished with the food. Embry blesses him, didn't know what to do, as he hovered.
"Fuck Bella! I didn't know my farts were that bad."
"It's fine, there's more than two of us now," I tell him, wondering how long it would take for the penny to drop. "Did you have an egg by any chance this morning?" I ask him, holding my babies and rubbing my belly to try and calm myself and my stomach down.
"Yes… wait!" He said, as stared at me with his jaw dropped, as my words I used sunk in.
"Seriously?" He asked.
"More than one, according to Sam. He phased to call you and his wolf picked up on them!" I say.
"So no eggs from now on?" He asked.
"No, it would appear not. Today is the first day I've reacted to a bad smell. It probably wouldn't have been half as bad, if our noses were normal human noses."
"How long?" He asked as I gave him instructions on what to do after he asked if there's anything he could do to help. I asked him to do more vegetables, whilst I did the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. I know it wasn't a thing to put with chicken, but I didn't give a shit.
"We think two months maybe a bit longer, I've lost track of time to tell you the honest truth! So much has happened and changed, that even with my new improved wolf memory, my human side is struggling to keep up with everything. If it wasn't for my husband, I'd be a complete mess right now. If I was the old me, still."
"I guess my eggy fart ruined the surprise! You know I won't be able to keep this from Paul when we phase."
"I know, we were going to tell you all when we knew more about it ourselves. They are starting to show, at this stage, but we don't want to go to Sue either."
"I can understand that!" He said.
"We've heard there's new staff she's trained up, to take over when she decides to retire in the next year or two, so we are thinking of using them. Old Quil is the only other person who knew."
"Really?" Embry said in shock. The front door slammed open, and I didn't jump half as much as Embry did. I see my husband first, who makes a beeline for myself and wraps his arms around me, moving to place his hand over our babies, and kisses me hard on the lips.
"Oooo, who's the snack!" Embry said, causing Paul to growl at him. Embry throws his hands up!
"You said we can still look at arses and boobies, but not touch them, only each other."
"I don't share, you know that."
"Obviously!"
"Do I need to put the kettle on?" I ask my husband after we stop snogging.
"Not for this fucker! We might need to do a DNA test after all. This jerk said he's Terrence's son!" I gasped in fake shock, having known all of this already, through Sam's eyes and turned around to see a man almost identical to Paul as he and Jared held him, by his arms.
"I'm not lying to you, assholes. I'm not a threat either, I have come looking for answers and to kick that fuckers ass for ditching my mother and I. He mentioned La Push a couple of times, so I decided to venture down this way. I heard you two fucking, it's the first house I came across, so stilled to see if he'd been around."
"Oh shit!" Embry said.
"Don't say shit, dummies. The elders are coming around!"
"I guess the family dinners turned into a gathering," I say feeling slightly disappointed.
"I know babe, next time baby!" Sam kisses my lips.
