{Miguel/Jaden Training Montage}
Miguel and Jaden get up from their beds. Jaden does some stretching, and Miguel puts on his headphones and put on some rock music. The two get on the floor and do some push-ups. Switch to the dojo and they are still doing it. Miguel has on a chest protector and on the other side of the dojo, there's a baseball machine.
"Ready", asked Johnny.
"Yes, Sensei", answered Miguel.
The first baseball Miguel blocks but hits the wall. The second one hits his arm.
It's Jaden's turn and he has on the chest protector.
"Ready", asked Jaden.
"Let's do this", said Jaden.
The first baseball goes and Jaden hits it away. The second one hits and Jaden hits it as well.
"Come on, is this all you got", asked Jaden, cockily.
"Alright, smartass", replied Johnny. "Miguel, put more baseball in the machine", said Johnny. Miguel reloads the machine.
Johnny turned the speed too fast and multiple baseballs were shooting at Jaden. Jaden had to go to the floor and cover his body. Miguel and Johnny were laughing like crazy.
The second lesson was when your opponent traps you. Johnny had Miguel in a headlock.
"What does a Cobra do? What does a Cobra do", asked Johnny. Miguel was tapping on his arm, asking him to let go. It was Jaden's turn and he was in a headlock.
"What does a Cobra do", asked Johnny.
Jaden flips both of their bodies and he kicked his dad in the balls.
"Ohhhhhhhhh", groaned Johnny.
"Um, sorry", said Jaden.
The third lesson they did was average fighting and blocking. Johnny was training with Jaden. Johnny send a punch to his side and sweep his leg. When it was Miguel's turn, he blocks both his punches and kicked him in the stomach.
Because of this, Miguel and Jaden would take daily runs, practicing their speed and agility. Cutting back to Johnny, kicking Miguel on the shoulder. Johnny charges, but Miguel quickly dodged. Johnny attempts a kick to his abdomen, but Miguel blocks. However, Johnny elbows his face.
When it came to Jaden, Johnny sends a kick to him, which Jaden counters with his arm. Jaden sent two kicks to Johnny, which he easily blocks. Jaden attempts for a punch, but Johnny grabs his arm and slams hit to the ground. Cutting back to Miguel and Jaden running. Then cut back to Johnny sending two punches to Miguel, which he blocks.
Johnny attempts one at his face and another at his abdomen, which Miguel counters. Johnny sends a surprise kick to his stomach.
This time, Jaden is prepared for the baseball machine and is able to hit all the balls on his second try. It's Miguel's turn now and he gets distracted by Johnny. Cutting to Miguel who is doing tons of push-ups, while Jaden is during curl-ups. Cutting to Miguel blocking two baseballs from the machine. Johnny now has Miguel in a headlock again.
"What does a Cobra do", asked Johnny.
This time, Miguel elbows Johnny's side and goes under his arms, while grabbing his arm.
"Slither", answered Miguel.
"Not bad", answered Johnny.
Cutting back to Miguel practicing his punches, while Jaden practicing his kicks.
Miguel and Jaden are now able to master the pitching machining as well as punches and kicks. Miguel is now fighting Johnny and is able to knock him. Miguel smiles and Johnny uses the pitching machine to knock Miguel's ear.
{Miguel/Jaden Training Montage Ends}
"What? What the hell? That wasn't fair", said Miguel.
"Dream on. You can't always think your enemies are gonna play by the rules', answered Johnny.
"Yeah, but my ear", said Miguel tried to explain.
"Yeah, you didn't have to do like that", said Jaden.
"Shut the hell up", said Johnny.
"What if that baseball was your enemy's friend coming at you from behind? You have to be prepared for everything", said Johnny. He then looked at Miguel who still covering his ear. "Let me look."
"Is it bad", asked Jaden.
"No, it's fine, it's fine. Don't just don't be a baby, Diaz", said Johnny.
All of a sudden, some random ladies entered the dojo.
"What the hell", said Jaden.
"Ah, shit", said Johnny.
"Twilight is upon us", said a random lady. She looked high as a kite.
"What's going on", asked Miguel.
"Uh, I had to sublet the, uh, dojo for a few hours. Just till we get more students", said Johnny.
"We need to change the energy in here", said the random lady.
The trio decided to leave the dojo. They didn't need to know what they were doing.
{The next day, Cobra Kai Dojo}
Johnny had some punching bags in his hands. He had Miguel go first.
"What's the second rule of the Way of the Fist", asked Johnny.
"Strike hard", yelled Miguel and Jaden.
"That's right. There's only one reason to hit someone. To inflict pain. Striking hard is about giving your all", said Johnny.
Then, the door of the dojo opened and it's someone Jaden never would've expected to be here.
"What the hell? No yoga till 5:00. No matter how bad you need it", said Johnny in a rude matter.
"Aisha, what are you doing here", asked Jaden.
"You know this chick", asked Johnny.
"Yeah, she goes to our school", answered.
"I here for karate. I saw your website. It said that there was supposed to be a session today", said Aisha.
"I appreciate you coming in, but there are no girls in Cobra Kai", said Johnny.
"Why not", asked Aisha.
"Same reason there aren't women in the Army. Doesn't make sense", explained Johnny.
"Really, there are women in the army these days", said Jaden.
"Still doesn't make sense", said Johnny.
Jaden's mind: "I can't believe I'm related to him."
"Hey, Sensei, we need to show you something in the office", said Miguel.
The trio go into the office to talk.
"Don't give me this "sexist" bullshit. All right, I'm just saying, women, aren't meant to fight. They have tiny, hollow bones", explained Johnny.
"Aren't you desperate for new students", asked Miguel.
"Yes. But this isn't a knitting class. This is a dojo", said Johnny.
"The kids at school call her names, make fun of her", said Jaden.
"That's what happens when you eat an entire box of Twinkies every day", answered Johnny.
"Her dad is Isiash Robinson", said Jaden. His dad looked confused.
"Hall of Fame lineman for the Chargers", Miguel said. Still, Johnny didn't understand.
"Her love for Twinkies comes from her dad", asked Johnny. Jaden just shook his head in disbelief.
"No, we're saying her family's loaded! All right, and she's a paying customer. But you don't need the money, right", said Miguel. Johnny was now reconsidering his choice of Aisha joining. Finally, he made his decision and the trio walked out the office.
"Okay, take off your shoes. Hop on the mat. Okay, after further review, I've decided to allow female students", said Johnny.
"But if you want to be in Cobra Kai, you can't act like a girl", explained Johnny.
"What do you mean? How do girls act", asked Aisha?
"Oh, don't give me that you know, all emotional, loud, complain-y, never letting you finish a sentence", said Johnny.
"It sounds you're describing yourself", said Jaden. He and Miguel were laughing. Johnny gave them a death glare, telling them to shut up.
"Well, I know a few guys who act just"...
"QUIET", yelled Johnny.
"My students tells me you've been harassed at school", said Johnny. Aisha looks at Miguel and Jaden and continues.
"Yeah. Mostly online. I get mean texts and emails sent to me. Makes me not want to go", explained Aisha.
"And who sends you these messages", asked Johnny.
"Well, they're mostly anonymous. These kids create fake accounts, and they tell me things like I'm ugly and that I should kill myself", said a upset Aisha.
Jaden was quiet. He didn't know that all this time Aisha was dealing with this. His dad even looked shocked.
"Oh, my God. What a bunch of pussies", said Johnny. It shocked both Aisha and Miguel.
Jaden took back what he said about his dad.
"Back in my day, if you wanted to tease someone, you did it to their face. There was honor, respect. These geeks hiding behind their computers, what a bunch of spineless losers. You're not afraid of these losers, are you", asked Johnny.
"No", answered Aisha.
"Are you gonna take shit from these losers", asked Johnny.
"No", said Aisha again.
"Good, because when I'm done with you, you're gonna be sending a message back, only it's not gonna be with your keyboard. It's gonna be with your fists", said Johnny. Aisha smiles as she wanted to take revenge.
"Okay, let's see what you got, Ms. Robinson. Mr. Diaz, show her everything you've learned", said Johnny. Aisha and Miguel bowed to Johnny and then bow to each other. Miguel hesitated to attack
"Uh, whoa, wait, I don't think this is right, Sensei", said Miguel.
"You don't think what's right", asked Johnny.
"She's a girl, I'm not gonna..."
"And? I thought you said women were equal to men", reasoned Johnny.
"I did say that. I didn't mean it like that. I meant that she..."
"All right, show her women are equal. Give her everything you got" said Johnny.
"Oh, I gotta see this", said an excited Jaden. He went to get a chair, real quick.
"Wait. I just want to remind everyone this is my first day", Aisha tried to explain.
"They prey on weakness.
If you want to beat them, you gotta conquer your fears and jump face first into the fire. Now, are you ready, Ms. Robinson", asked Johnny. Jaden came back with a chair and sat down.
"I guess", answered Aisha.
"And fight", yelled Johnny. Nobody moved.
"Don't just stand there. Fight", yelled Johnny again.
"I'm sorry", said a sorry Miguel.
Miguel then kicks Aisha hard in the stomach. She falls down on the mat.
"Oh, my God, Aisha, are you okay? I'm so sorry", Miguel tried to explain.
Aisha then got up, grabbed Miguel's whole body and slam him on the mat. Then she slams her knee on his ribs
"Dammmmnnnnnnnn", yelled a excited Jaden.
Girl's a natural Cobra" said Johnny. We then heard yelling noises outside.
Students, wait here. Son, you're in charge.
{Cobra Kai Enterance}
{Jaden's POV}
Miguel said he was going home. I was going to stay with dad for something. Before I went, Aisha wanted to talk with me.
"Hey, Jaden, I'm sorry about the last time we talked", said Aisha.
"No, it's fine, you had a reason to be angry, anyways", said Jaden.
"I know, but still, it doesn't excuse what I did", explained Aisha.
"Thank you. So does that mean we can restart our friendship", Jaden asked putting out his hand.
"Ok", said a happy Aisha, shaking his hand.
"Oh, um, I have to meet up with dad for something, so I have to go", said Jaden.
"Ok, see you", said Aisha leaving.
{Jaden's POV Ends}
"Hey dad, why are we going to the pawn shop", asked Jaden.
"To sell some things. The rent went up", explained Johnny.
{Pawn Shop}
Johnny and Jaden were at the pawnshop trying to sell something stuff.
"Yeah. This is all pretty much trash", said Johnny looking through the stuff.
"You want to throw it away here or take it home and toss it", said the man sarcastically.
"This is a classic swimsuit edition. Elle MacPherson in her prime", said Johnny.
"Yeah, if it were mint, I'd throw you 5 bucks, but this is, uh, let's just say, well-loved", said the pawn man.
"All right, what about the Nintendo", asked Johnny.
"It's an Atari. Normally, I'd offer you 20 bucks and flip it to some douchebag hipster who wanders in, but my rent just went up, so I'll give you a ten-spot if it helps you out", said the man.
"All right. I didn't want to have to do this. I know gold's been going up. And I don't want to sell 'em all. Just tell me how many I need to part with to get 1,200 bucks", asked Johnny.
"Okay. Let's see. How many you got? Six. 12. Okay, yeah. If you happen to have 60,000 more of these lying around somewhere, I think we can work something out", said the pawn man. Jaden couldn't help, but lightly chuckle.
"What? This is solid gold", said a confused Johnny.
"Gold-plated. Got a certificate of authenticity. Ooh. Mm, that's a nice one. They even put an eagle on there and everything", said the man, sarcastically.
"All right, you know what? You just lost an opportunity of a lifetime", said Johnny. They both left and Johnny felt embarrassed.
{Random Place Outside}
It's nighttime and Jaden is listening to some music on his phone. His phone ringed and Jaden was shock at who was calling. Sam was calling him. He thought about it, then he answered.
"Hello", asked an uninterested Jaden.
"Hey Jaden, could we please talk", asked Sam.
"No", said Jaden. He was about to hang up.
"Wait', replied Sam. Jaden could hear on the other end of the phone, she was crying.
"What's wrong", asked Jaden, only caring a little bit.
"Have you heard the rumor about me and Kyler", asked Sam.
"Yeah, you gave him head. I know it's not true. But, why are you calling me about this", asked Jaden?
"Nobody believes me. I try to tell them, but Kyler and Matthew keep spreading their lies. Those assholes", said a now furious Sam.
"Where are you", asked Jaden.
"At home, why", asked Sam.
"Meet me at the abandoned warehouse near the Chuck E Cheese."
"That place", asked Sam. She didn't like the smell of the warehouse.
"Trust me", said Jaden.
"Ok, I'll see you in 20 minutes", said Sam.
"Alright, see you", replied Jaden.
Jaden hung up the phone and walk to the place.
{The Abandoned Warehouse}
It took 25 minutes to reach since he was walking on foot. When he got there, he saw Sam's white car.
"Hey", said Jaden.
"Hey", answered Sam.
They both hug Jaden. After that, they went inside the warehouse. It still smells like shit, but they have been doing this for years. It was the only place that both of them can hang out without their parents knowing.
"How about a fight", asked Sam.
"Sure", said Jaden.
"How about the first person to get one point, has to buy the other person ice cream", asked Sam.
Jaden put out his hand and Sam shook it.
"Deal", said Jaden.
The two got into fighting stances. They both bow to each other.
"Ready", said Sam.
"And fight", replied Jaden.
Jaden learned from his training fight with Miguel, he knew to think smarter. Jaden sent two punches, which Sam blocked. Sam attempts a knee kick, but Jaden counters with his arm. Sam sent a kick to his face, which almost hits, but Jaden sees this and knocks her down on her other leg.
Sam then jumps up quickly and sent a punch, which hit Jaden. Jaden sent a kick that misses. Jaden sent punches, which Sam uses wax on, wax off, to block. Jaden attempts to flip her, but Sam knees his stomach, causing them to both falls on the ground.
Jaden then realizes that he was on top of Sam. They both blush furiously. It then became awkward.
"Shit, um sorry", said Jaden.
"No, no, um, I'm sorry", said Sam.
The look then realizes the whole situation became awkward.
"Well, um, it's getting late, I guess I should leave", said Sam.
'Yeah", said Jaden.
He was about to walk away when Sam asked.
"Hey Jaden, do you have a ride home", asked Sam.
"No, I was going to walk again" replied Jaden.
"I could drive you back home", said Sam.
"Oh, sure thanks", said Jaden.
The two left the warehouse and both went into Sam's car. Sam dropped Jaden off at his apartment.
"See you in school", said Jaden.
"See you", said Sam.
{Reseda Apartments}
Sam left the crappy apartment. She couldn't help but wonder about Jaden. Back when he was on top of her. It felt like sparks were about to happen. Wait, did she like Jaden?
As for Jaden, he felt the same way. He went into his apartment and switch to his PJ's. He was eating pizza, when he heard a knock on the door. Jaden got up and went to answer. He looked in the peephole and saw Miguel. He opened the door.
"Hey Jaden" said Miguel.
"Hey Miggy, what's up", asked Jaden.
"I just wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out", asked Miguel.
"Yeah, sure", replied Jaden. "How about my home this time."
"What about Sensei", asked Miguel.
"He's sleeping. And your parents", asked Jaden.
"They are both sleeping", said Miguel.
"Alright, I got some pizza, if you want some", suggested Jaden.
"Sure", said Miguel.
"Miguel sat down on the couch and Jaden was on the chair. The two ate pizza and drank root beer. They watched Guardians of The Galaxy 2 up until it finished.
"Man, Gamora is so hot", said Miguel.
"Yeah", agreed Jaden.
They looked at the time. It was midnight and they forgot they had school.
"Hey, do you want to spend the night", asked Jaden.
"Um, I mean my mom might kill me because we have school tomorrow", said Miguel.
"It's already tomorrow", said Jaden, making Miguel laugh.
"Come on, stop being a boy scout, break the rules for once", said Jaden. Miguel thought about it before agreeing.
"Ok", said Miguel smiling.
Jaden got the blanket and pillows from his room and put them on the chair. Miguel had quickly gone to his home and got his blankets and pillows.
"Alright", said Jaden.
The two got prepared and went to sleep. Miguel wanted to tell something to Jaden.
"Hey, Jaden", said Miguel.
"Yeah, what's up", asked Jaden.
"You're the best's friend I ever had", said Miguel.
This hit Jaden in the feels. He never loved anyone as a brother in a long time. Him saying that made him shed a few tears.
"Same, you're like a brother to me", said Jaden. Miguel was also about to tear up. He has always been traveling and moving throughout his whole childhood. He never stayed anywhere longer than a year. Being with Jaden has given him a friendship he taught he could never have.
"Well, um, anyway, good night", said Miguel.
"Good night", said Jaden.
{The next day}
Johnny had woken up and saw his two students sleeping.
"WAKE UP", yelled Johnny. Both Miguel and Jaden got up, and shook.
Johnny was laughing hysterically.
"Really, sensei", said Miguel.
"Hey, not my fault", said Johnny, still laughing.
Miguel went back into his home to get ready for school. Jaden got ready as well.
{West Valley High, Cafeteria}
Sam is trying to find a place to sit down. Everyone was looking at her with disgust. Yasmine put her bag down, meaning she was no longer friends with them. She was going to sit where Aisha was until she blocks the seat.
"Oh, don't even think about it", said Aisha.
"Come on, I need a place to sit", pleaded Sam.
"Oh, you can go sit with Kyler. I hear he doesn't mind that you suck", said Aisha. At this, Sam had enough of the bullshit and leaves angrily walking up to Kyler's gang. It seemed like someone new joined the group. Sam tapped on Kyler's shoulder.
"Think it's funny to spread lies about me", said Sam, angrily.
"What're you talking about? We saw a movie, and that's it. Well, maybe I saw a little bit more than you", said Kyler.
There was, "oooooohhhhh", and laughs throughout the lunchroom.
"Yeah, we heard you got pretty choked up", said Matthew. Everybody was laughing and at this, Sam knocked Kyler's tray down.
"Hey, guys. You know that billboard with a big-ass dick on it? I guess Sam takes after her dad", said Kyler, smugly. Miguel, Jaden, Eli, and Demetri had just got their trays. Miguel and Jaden were tired of Kyler. They put down their trays and walked up to Kyler.
"Hey, Kyler", yelled Jaden.
"Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole", said Miguel.
"Want another beatdown, 'Rhea and Goldy", said Kyler, pushing Miguel and Jaden. "I'm ready for y'all lame-ass karate this time", said Kyler, pushing them again.
"It's not lame-ass karate", said Jaden.
Kyler attempts to throw a punch at Miguel, but he catches it and twists his arm.
"It's Cobra Kai", said Miguel. He then punched Kyler in the nose, causing him to fall back a bit. Kyler gets angry and picks up Miguel and slams him on the table. Jaden sees this and starts Rory. Kyler slams Miguel on another table and puts him in a headlock. Jaden sent a kick to the back of Rory's head. Matthew kicked Jaden on his side. Jaden sent a kick to his stomach, but the new guy kicked Jaden's back. Then he send a roundhouse kick to his face.
Miguel elbows Kyler's side, twists his arm again, and punches his face. He then kicked his back, causing Kyler to hit another table.
"No mercy" yelled Aisha.
Jaden sent an uppercut on the new guy and knocks him down jumping on top of him and pulling his body down. Brucks attempts a punch of Miguel, but he sweeps his leg, causing him to fall down. AJ attempts to grab him, but Miguel hits his stomach, kicked Rory in the stomach, and kicked AJ in face.
Miguel looks around and runs. He flips over the nearest table and grabs a tray. He sees Jaden dealing with Matthew.
"Take this", Miguel said to Jaden.
Jaden catches the tray and hits Matthew's head with it. Jaden goes over to help Miguel. Miguel kicks a chair to Rory and Jaden uses a tray to hit Kyler's head. Miguel hits Brucks with his tray and Jaden hits AJ with his twice. Jaden's knee kicks Brucks's stomach and slams his back with the tray. The two friends saw Kyler getting up and the two got on the table. Miguel send a kick to Kyler's head and the two Cobra Kai students finished the fight off with hitting both of their trays on Kyler's head.
The two look at each other in shock and both stand-up. They saw everyone recording the fight and cheering. Sam smiled at the two of them and both smiled back. Then, Counselor Blatt had to be a party pooper and ruin the mood. The two of them got off the table.
"That was amazing", said Jaden.
"Oh man, you saw the way I slithered", asked Miguel.
"Yeah, and when I flipped Matthew", asked Jaden.
"Yeah, that was the best school day ever", said Miguel.
"Both of you, shut up", said Blatt. They both shut up but were smiling the whole time.
{Cobra Kai Dojo}
"All six of them", asked Johnny.
"Yeah", replied the two.
"Even that big dumb one", asked Johnny. Jaden laughed.
"Yeah, it all happened so fast. Everything just came together. I was blocking", said Miguel.
"I anticipated", interrupted Jaden.
"I slithered", finished Miguel.
"You're mom going to kill all three of us", said Johnny.
"Well, she would if she knew.
"When my school called, my ya-ya answered. Never seen her so proud. She won't talk", said Miguel.
"All right, so let me get this straight. You took all the lessons I taught you guys, and you used them to straight-up beat the shit out of those punks?
"Well, yeah", said Miguel
"Yes", asked a scared Jaden.
"Follow me", said Johnny.
{Cobra Kai Entrance}
Johnny opened his trunk and his two old, but look in good shape gis.
"I wore these when I was training for my first tournament back in '81. I want you two to have them.
"Thank you, dad", said Jaden.
"Are you sure", asked Miguel.
"Hell, yeah. You earned it. It's the best thing I've got", said Johnny.
"Thank you so much, Sensei", said Miguel.
Miguel and Johnny hugged. Then Jaden and Johnny hugged. Miguel and Jaden finally hug. What they didn't know that someone was watching them.
"So, they chose someone to replace me", said Robby. He then left the scene.
{The next day, Cobra Kai dojo entrance}
Johnny and Jaden were in the car. Johnny was talking on the phone.
"Look, you'll get your damn rent. No, I don't have it now. As I'm saying, I'm working on it", said Johnny on the phone.
Both Johnny and Jaden look out the window shocked. There were tons of kids outside the dojo.
They got out of the car and saw the kids were watching the cafeteria fight that happen yesterday. Miguel was there waiting for them
"It seems the video got around", said Jaden.
"Looks like we're in business", said Johnny.
