Clara was dead and her hope for life or closure is left to the one and only consulting detective. While she is invisible to the world she sees it all, by the end she is going to either make Sherlock want to kill her again or laugh and appreciate her. And she was already dead. Sherlock/OC eventually. The goal is murder mystery, light morbid humor, and non-mary-sue love.
