It turns out that John has a daughter, but he doesn't know that because Moriarty made him forget. His daughter Adelaide Watson has been in Moriarty's care for two years and John is the only family she has left after Moriarty kills her Mother and sister. She has to make John remember, but Moriarty just wants Sherlock to play the game. Will Sherlock realize before it's too late?

Eighteen months. That's how long it's been since Sherlock left. Since John gave up on life. Still, Sherlock isn't expecting it when he gets the call saying that his blogger is gone... To survive life after his death, Sherlock remembers John. When he returns to London, John has changed, but so has Sherlock. In comforting John, Sherlock finds something that he never realized he needed.

John has grown up with parents who won't divorce and a sister who lashes out. It wasn't even a surprise when she started drinking. He's busted up his shoulder so he's off rugby and meeting Sherlock provides the perfect distraction from life in general. Teen!lock. John meets Sherlock during high school. AU. Eventual friends to lovers.

Lestrade walks into a supposedly empty room at Bart's and finds something he did not expect. Even more surprising is his own reaction. Slash, John/Sherlock, future John/Sherlock/Lestrade, super smutty, rated M for a reason.

Short Story - briefer than I usually do but I felt I wanted to do this after such a long time in putting up another story. I enjoyed this too and liked the outcome of the events as they unfolded. It's gentle and sweet and I am happy with it. As the title says it's a text which has been long in coming and when it does it shocks the recipient.

Between the cries of "Sherlock, eat something" and "John, put that test tube down, its filled with nitro", life at 221B Baker Street is far from average. It's a miracle John can put up with it. Of course, sometimes he doesn't . . . Friendship, however stressed. Rated over K for safety, might jump around arches a bit.

As John sits in his usual spot at the clinic, scrolling down the numerous texts from Mary, he wonders when did this life become so boring and simply not enough. He suspects it happened sometime between Sherlock Holmes' dramatic return, his proposal of marriage and John's stubborn refusal.

One-shot. Every year, the Government holds an annual tea party. There is cake, and tea, but mostly cake. It is a secretive and un-official affair, but when a certain detective attempts to get one up on his brother, the Government Tea-Party might not be as private as Mycroft hoped.
