When the psychosomatic tremble in John's left hand returns Sherlock is determined to find out why. There may be something more sinister that Sherlock has disregarded in his mad preoccupation with John. Will be Johnlock, perhaps some mystrade.

Newly appointed Detective Sergeant Gregory Lestrade is investigating his first solo case, the suicide of a lonely librarian. But something feels wrong to the detective so he keeps digging. Along the way he meets an eccentric former chemistry student by the name of Sherlock Holmes.

When Molly is assaulted by a stranger in the morgue Sherlock intervenes just a plot bunny I've had injected into my skull I believe this is classified as fluff :P least it is to me. K for violence obviously

Sherlock thinking about John. This story is not specifically for those who ship Johnlock or for those who do not. I feel the story is up for interpretation and that it does not contain any specifically Johnlock content. Sherlock finds himself feeling lonely now that John has married Mary Moristan, and as a result he finds himself making a new acquaintance, one that not only replaces his blogger, but fills a new piece of him he had long ago forgotten. After Sherlock fell, John is broken. Life has no meaning anymore and he doesn't know what to do. He writes a letter as an outlet to what he's feeling. (Possible future fanfiction in the works as a follow-up to the letter.)

While in the army, John had grown accustomed to the heavy patrol pack he had carried everywhere. Now a civilian taking part in a different war, he finds himself burdened once more. (The second of two in a series entitled 'Brothers In Arms.')
