Season 14 of Criminal Minds gave us a crazy little episode called "Truth or Dare", which Jemily shippers will remember well. A pause in a scene gave me so much hope and then the writers took it elsewhere. This is where I think the episode should have gone and what should have come afterward. This is obviously Jemily, not a slow burn, and a lot more fluff than angst. For once.

"No way as in no one would ever believe it" Emily responded, now moving various pieces of paper around her desk attempting to look focused. The blonde stepped towards the desk and placed both her hands down on the papers.

After a long case, Spencer Reid tries his best to keep being his best. So instead of bed or doing something regrettable, he goes to a bookstore. There the not so unmoveable object meets a force that will not be denied, even if it will get it's way gently.

This story was inspired by the song Self Conclusion by The Spill Canvas. It's a beautiful song. Includes all core characters and will eventually be JJ/Emily. Rated T for now, may change later.
