Whoop, Percy is amazing-like, utterly badass, but also- poor Percy is very upset.

Undeath9087: I mean, it's Set, he's always trouble lol. And evil laughter is fun.
Ryan Fowler: Set would soon become Percy's apprentice.
Guest: Only Percy and Sadie had the power to use it and they both had to forget it. The others sort of knew the words but they didn't have any power because they weren't told by Nephthys. And yeah Set knows who Percy's dad is- and I'd say there's a good feat coming up.
Percy was staring out of the window when she saw the magician in the sunroof aiming his staff- not an easy task in a high speed car chase, and a glowing white javelin shot from the tip, hurtling toward us like a homing missile.
"DUCK!" Percy screamed the word and lunched at Sadie, knocking her down onto the seats-and there was that pain again, flaring up from all the stupid cuts- and she saw Zia out of the corner of her eye, pressing Carter down against the seats as she leaned over him protectively.
The javelin broke the rear window and flew straight through the windshield. If Bes had been normal height, he would have gotten a free head piercing. As it was, the projectile missed him completely.
"I'm a dwarf," hmbled. "I don't duck!"
He swerved to the right. Behind them, a storefront exploded. Looking back, Percy saw the entire wall dissolve into a pile of living snakes. their pursuers were still closing.
"Bes, get us out of here!" Sadie yelled.
"I'm trying, kid. Egyptian Bridge is coming up. It was originally built in the eighteen hundreds, but—"
"I don't care! Just drive!"
And soon enough they were racing towards a bridge-and Percy could see black stone sphinxes on either side- lady sphinxes with gilded pharaoh crows. And Percy let out a desperate relieved laugh as Bes barked something in Egypt. At the top of the bridge blue light flashed and a swirling sand vortex appeared.
"What did Set mean? About Percy-"
"Brace yourselves. And Percy, listen, you need to focus because-" BANG! The Mercedes careened sideways. They spun across the ice and flipped, sliding up-side down into the vortext.
Percy screamed as Sadie grabbed her and they flew into the roof of the car, Percy's head cracking against it, she blacked out for maybe a second but by the time she came too she could hear water trickling through the javelin shattered glass and the roof of the Mercedes crumpling like an aluminium can.
And Percy could feel it- they were surrounded by water, and she could see- or- not see but almost sense Bes in the front of the Mercedes, and the water was pooling around Percy's head- and of course it was they went in upside down- and she could already feel the familiar soothing sensation, the flood of warmth as it started to heal her. "Bes!" her voice was croaky, "Bes-"
"I'm here." he was crawling awkwardly into the back, "Can you get us out of here."
"I-I don't-" Percy swallowed hard- she'd never done anything quite like this before. But her family needed her didn't they? She took a deep breath before nodding. "Grab Carter and Zia- and Sadie if you can and hold onto them okay?"
"Right." Bes nodded, grabbing Sadie's unconscious form and hauling her to Carter and Zia- and then once he had a grip on all of them Percy focused, and a second later the roof of the Mercedes was ripped away and water flooded into the car-but Percy clenched her fists tightly, a bubble of air forming around Bes, Sadie, Carter and Zia.
"Holy Ra you did it kid." Bes burst out, his voice proud as the car drifted away downwards beneath them and they floated in the water, Percy outside of the air bubble. "Can you move it?"
"I think so." Percy nodded, and she focused on the water around the air bubble, using her powers to manipulate the currents, pushing it upwards, and she followed it- and after what felt like a lifetime they breeched the surface, and the bubble popped as Percy grabbed Sadie from Bes, who was holding Carter and Zia still.
"You did real good kid." they were treading water, but- well, they were alive. That was a lot better than it could have been if she hadn't been there.
"I did?" Percy's voice shook slightly as the current gently pushed them towards the shore, and now that the shock was wearing off she felt shaky- by the time they reached the shore she was trembling again, leaving the water- ironically enough, left her feeling cold and drained- a part of her wanted to dive back in and never leave- a voice in her mind whispered that it was her home, it was a part of here, where she belonged.
Of course she'd always sort of felt that when she went swimming in the sea- but it had never felt this strong before. But then, she'd never felt this lost and scared and alone before.
She wondered if she'd be able to find her father down there- her birth father. He had to be down there somewhere right?
But- Percy pushed away those thoughts. Persephone Ariadne Kane hadn't been raised to be a coward or to run away when things got hard. She shifted her grip on Sadie, turning her head to look at Bes. "What now?" she asked after a moment, "We can't carry all three of them. And we don't have anywhere to go." she looked around- the beach they'd landed on was gorgeous- stunning golden sand trees and buildings in the distance- but that didn't actually help them now, as Bes dragged Carter and Zia onto the sand.
"We try and wake Zia and Sadie up." Bes spoke firmly, "Carter's got no chance of waking right now but they might. If not we'll have to find a way to carry all three of them, won't be easy but we can do it. And I can get us a hotel room where we can regroup and try and get them help.
"Of course." Percy nodded, laying Sadie down on the sand and dropping to her knees next to her sister- who was soaked through, Percy focused, pulling the water away from Sadie's clothes, from her skin and hair as she shook her. "Sadie. Sadie you need to wake up now please?" her sister had a cut on her head, it was a nasty thing, jagged and deep looking, the skin around it red and sore looking, and it was already starting to bruise.
Percy could only assume that Sadie had got that when she'd crashed into the roof of the car- not good. Very not good. Percy blinked rapidly to try and stop her tears- "Please Sadie. Carter's still super sick and I need you okay I need my big sister." she could hear the waves- the noise of them was getting louder- the gentle lapping of the waves against the sand as the tide slowly came in was getting much louder. "Please don't leave me alone please." her voice was shaking, but Sadie just led there, pale and broken looking. "Please. Please don't leave me alone. Please please Sadie please I need you I need you." she was sobbing- the crashing of the waves getting louder.
"Kid-" Bes' voice was uneasy, "Kid you should calm down, you're getting way too upset right now you're not thinking clearly-"
"Please. Please please Sadie please-" Percy was babbling, shaking Sadie uselessly, "Please don't die please. I can't help Carter and now I can't help you-" she could hear coughing coming from where Bes was with Carter and Zia but she didn't turn her head to look-
"Please. Please just wake up why aren't you waking up-" the sky- which had been fairly clear when they'd reached land was turning dark, clouds were forming in the air- and the wind was picking up- that was weird- but Percy didn't care, all she cared about was that
Sadie wasn't waking up- she had tears pouring down her cheeks as she let out a scream, "WAKE UP! WAKE UP WAKE U-"
Someone smashed into Percy, knocking her away from Sadie- and Percy let out a shocked gasp, staring up at Zia- who looked beyond terrified as she pinned Percy to the sand, her hands gripping Percy's shoulders tightly, so tightly that it was actually painful- the wind was whipping Zia's hair across her face- and the waves were so loud that it was hard to hear the words Zia was trying to scream at her, but she managed to make out, "PERCY! PERCY CALM DOWN LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" and what was Zia talking about- Percy lifted her head slightly, looking around- and- a huge storm seemed to have rolled in.
The waves were pounding on the beach, further and further in shore- it wouldn't be long before they reached the small group, and the wind was blowing a fierce gale- whipping the sand up in a way that reminded Percy of the sandstorm that they'd travelled through trying to get to the Red Pyramid.
"I- I'm not-"
"YOU'LL KILL US ALL PERCY!" and that shocked Percy out of it- because Zia looked genuinely terrified- and Percy screwed her eyes shut- forcing herself to breath- and almost instantly the winds dropped- the waves receded and softened- and Percy dropped her head back onto the sand as Zia loosened her grip on her shoulders- and when she opened her eyes to look up at the sky the daunting black clouds were drifting away, dissolving into nothing.
"Kid-" Bes' voice was almost hesitant, and Percy turned her head to look at him- he was staring at her with a kind of terrified awe. "You okay?"
"I-" Percy swallowed hard, gaze flicking to Sadie. "I-"
"I'll do what I can for her." Zia's hand was on Percy's shoulder then, this time just a comforting squeeze. "You must try to stay calm. Especially here Percy." she looked slightly uneasy too- and- of course she did. Percy didn't even know how she'd done it but she'd summoned up a storm hadn't she? She really could have killed them with the force of those waves and the winds.
"I'm sorry." Percy's voice was small as Zia's hand moved from her shoulder to her hand and she helped her sit up- and as she did Percy felt the world spinning around her- she hadn't felt it before when she'd been laying down but as soon as she sat up it was like she'd been on a high speed roundabout for five hours.
Zia clearly noticed because she gripped Percy's hand tighter. "Woah- woah breath in and out- you look as though you're about to faint-" and Percy felt like it too as Zia started to pull her to her feet- the spinning was getting worse and Percy felt as though she'd ran fifty marathons.
"Careful Zia she's gonna-" Percy didn't hear the end of Bes' sentence because getting to her feet seemed to be that bit too much for her body to take, all of the strength in her legs vanished and she crumpled- she felt Zia's arms trying to soften her fall before the blackness swallowed her.
