Chapter 14: The Thunder Mage Sister
(At the Heavenly Hall of the Jambastion Fortress)
Kirby, Ash, Sonic, Giovanni, Eggman, Daroach, Magolor, and Taranza arrived this long dark hallway.
Giovanni- This is getting very annoying! This is the third time we've spit up and divided after regrouping!
Eggman- I agree, this is starting to get tedious with all the running around we've been doing.
Sonic- Probably to stall us for time. But I bet I can dash right through to the end.
Ash- If you do that, you'll be leaving us behind since we can't keep up with your speed, Sonic.
Magolor- And from what Kyrin told us about what awaits for us, it might be best to not fight it alone.
Ho-Oh- This must be the Heavenly Halls of the fortress.
Ash- Ho-Oh, I thought Kyrin said Prince Calmly left you at his castle to recover during Void Termina's invasion.
Pikachu- Pika.
Ho-Oh- I paid attention to the stories Master Calmly told others after he returned to his castle.
Giovanni- Such a waste of potential…
Then Ho-Oh pressed his face up to Giovanni's face.
Ho-Oh- For the last time, I'm not interested in your Team Rocket bullshit! My loyalty is to my current master, which is Ash. And both him and Master Calmly are far better masters than you or that fool, Wolfgang, could ever be!
Giovanni- We'll see in time…once I eventually strip you away from Ash…
Daroach- That giant phoenix is that valuable or something?
Taranza- I don't know much about these Poke'mon creatures, but they are a formidable force to be reckoned with. Sectonia tried to reclaim Floralia poisoning this one region and blackmailing two legendary Poke'mon to do her bidding. From what I can tell, that Ho-Oh is far stronger than most ordinary Poke'mon and is apparently capable of living for a long time since he's the same Ho-Oh that worked with the Poke'mon Trainer from the original team 1,000 years ago. So I guess to humans that live in one of those Poke'mon regions on Earth, a legendary Poke'mon might be.
Suddenly, they all heard a faint giggling from the background. When Kirby and the others looked towards where it was coming from and they saw a mage in yellow sitting on a throne while holding a Jamba Heart in one hand. She was wearing a robe similar to Francisca and Flamberge, only her outfit was yellow. Her hair was short and blond, but she was definitely similar to the other two mages. She got up from the throne she was sitting on and quickly dashed up to them, like she had lightning-fast reflexes. Then she bowed to them in the same way Francesca did.
Mage in yellow- Bonjam.
Kirby- I take it you're the last Mage Sister that stands in our way?
Mage in yellow- Correct. I am Zan Partizanne, the eldest of the three generals of magic. My element is lighting as you can see by my speed. And at first, I thought of you to just be simpletons with a knack for annoyance.
Eggman- Believe me, they are.
Zan Partizanne- Hmph! But now it's clear that you are interfering interlopers! But I'm afraid your unwanted wandering end here.
Ash- Says who?
Zan Partizanne- By the will of our beloved liege, Lord Hyness, Officiant of Doom…
Then Zan Partizanne pulls out a spear with electrical sparks coming from it.
Zan Partizanne- I shall destroy you here and now!
Taranza attempted to attach her spider webs to her, but she quickly avoided them while leaving a trail of electricity behind her.
Zan Partizanne- You'll need to strike faster than that! I happen to be lighting fast!
Daroach tried to claw at her from behind, but she dodged that with her speed like she did with Taranza's attack.
Daroach- Wow! She really can move as fast as lighting!
Then Zan Partizanne got behind Sonic and attempted to skewer him. However, Sonic instantly vanished before her spear would stab at Sonic.
Zan Partizanne- What the…
Then Sonic appeared right behind her.
Sonic- You might be lighting fast…but not Sonic fast!
Before Zan Partizanne could react, Sonic kicked her in the face and knocked her to the ground.
Ash- Pikachu, thunderbolt!
Pikachu- Pika…CHUUUUUUU!
Pikachu launched a bolt of lightning at Zan Partizanne, but she blocked with a bolt of lightning from her own magic.
Giovanni- Persian, night slash…
Suddenly, Zan Partizanne felt a clawing pain in her chest as she saw Giovanni's Persian with its claw in her chest like it was trying to gut her. She tried to swipe at Persian with her spear, but Persian jumped out of the way.
Giovanni- Now power gem towards the ceiling.
Persian- (Meow)
Then Persian shot its attack towards the ceiling and caused it to crumble and fall towards Zan. Zan Partizanne spun her electric spear over her head like a propeller and block the ruble from the ceiling.
Ash- Ho-Oh, hyper beam!
Then a blast of energy shot from Ho-Oh blew Zan Partizanne against the wall.
Zan Partizanne- This is starting to get annoying! I refuse to fail like my sisters did!
Then she made this large metal wheel with three drums attached to it appear on her back. Once she stroked the drums with her spear, several balls of electricity were launched from the three drums.
Ash- Ho-Oh, protect!
Then Ho-Oh created a barrier that shielded Ash, Pikachu, Giovanni, and Persian. But then Eggman shot Zan Partizanne was hit with a freeze ray gun and she was frozen solid. Before she could break free, Wheel Kirby rammed into her and knocked her to the ground.
Wheel Kirby- Thanks for the boost to turn into Wheel Kirby, Sonic!
Sonic- No problem, Kirby. But I also have to say, that Giovanni is much more competent than those other three idiots.
Ash- Speaking of them, how come they didn't come to Popstar with you?
Giovanni- Trust me, you do not want to know what they're going through right now. They needed to be punished for their failure during Bowser's attempt to perform the Immortal Wedding Ritual.
Zan Partizanne- Ugh…Jam…blasted…
Everyone returned their attention towards Zan Partizanne as she was getting back up.
Zan Partizanne- Bah! How could there be such oppositions on a measly remote planet like this?!
Sonic- Actually, not all of us are from Popstar.
Then Zan Partizanne dashed back to the throne where the Jamba Heart was placed and grabbed it.
Zan Partizanne- Well, it matters not! This Jamba Heart piece is already within my grasp! Listen here you annoying heroes! For all I care…
Then Zan Partizanne pulled out her electric spear again and pointed it at this core or something.
Zan Partizanne- You and this Jambastion can rot in ruin forever!
Then she plunges the spear into the core and it starts leaking out lava as the entire fortress begins to tremble.
Zan Partizanne- Baaahahahaha! Jambuhbye!
Then she flew away while the Jambastion Fortress was falling apart.
Magolor- This is bad!
Daroach- Then let's make like that blue hedgehog and run out of here!
