He was invincible. It wasn't a matter of overconfidence or arrogance, it was just a fact. Many Huntsmen and Huntresses from all over Remnant had tried to prove him wrong, that he wasn't the strongest in the world, not a single one of them had succeeded. And so when he enrolled to Beacon, he did it purely for the school's education... but he had gained so much more than he expected.

The fall of Beacon didn't kill Ozpin after all, instead the secretive headmaster was rescued by his inner circle. Even with his life saved, the fall created new problems and made some of the old return with vengeance. Thankfully there are many hopeful souls to reintroduce stability to the world.

The attack on Beacon effected everyone differently, for Ruby it was her first real look at the life of a Huntress and the responsibilities of that title. Plagued by nightmares she seeks out shelter in the library. Ozpin can't bare to see those silver eyes so dulled and helps Ruby come to terms with the life she has chosen. AU Ozpin lives!

Yang and Jaune both are people who have suffered pain and loss, can two friends help each other to heal the scars of the past? Maybe along the way also find something between them that will lead them to rethinking their relationship as simply friends to something more? Impatient after thousands of years of stalemates between Ozma and Salem, the Brother Gods decide to intervene. A new contest, Ozma's side against Salem's, to decide Remnant's fate. A contest requires combatants however, and what better or fairer than to pit one man against himself – against alternate versions of himself. Jaune Arc against Jaune Arc, for the fate of all worlds.

I teleport Team RWBY, JNPR, SSSN and CFVY to watch the show. I'm hoping this fanfic makes it past volume 3 since no one has gotten that far yet. Will be cross-posted on AO3 under the account GeneralKamil123.
