Kimi outside felt it, the bond that connected her son with hers. She knew he was at one of the temples that were built to worship her. that was fine, however, something was wrong.

She went to the pond, bent on her knees, and took a look. She could see Sesshomaru meditating. She looks outside the temple to see Inuyasha and his friend unconscious. A couple of talismans were put around the building by monks.

" I need to warn him", he says getting up

A voice stops her " you were told to stay Kimi, you are no longer part of their lives"

Sesshomaru's mother frowned " yes I understand but his part of me, his my son. Do I not have the right to at least warn him, grandfather"

" You are forgetting yourself, Kimiko, the time you spent there is no more. Don't consume your time on something that won't be yours, especially a failure"

" you broke a rule with our lord before, don't you remember what happened, your son became a victim of black magic"

Kim gasped " what do you mean?"

Her grandfather sighs " you created him for that our lord punished you through him. He sent dark Miko after your son"

Kimi not comprehending says " that can't be right, Toga enemy did this to our son"

Kimi's grandfather shook his head " you ruined the balance, so a trade for a trade."

Turning away, while her back facing her grandfather, she buckled her first. " he was an innocent child"

" Yes, he was, but our Lord has seen what he will become in the future. He will be a havoc to us all"

Kimi growls " he will not, mainly with my guidance"

" KIMI!" He warns " stop whatever foolishness you have planned, primarily looking for a cure to bring back his abilities."

"How did you know?"

" There is nothing I don't know, you have been warned "he finished before walking away.

Kimi bit her lower lip until blood came out. She looks at the pond again to see Sesshomaru still meditating. She suddenly got an idea. Sitting down, she shut her eyes to begin.

Elsewhere

Sesshomaru was surprised to see his mother. He hadn't seen her since he was a cub. Her image was just like he remembered. " Mother?"

" my son, you are aging beautifully"

Sesshomaru continues to watch her, still in shock. She walked to him and hugged him. Sesshomaru felt his heart melt when she did that. His wall starts to crumble just a bit. " You haven't seen me for many years, or tried to visit me, so why are you here now?" He says bitterly

Sesshomaru couldn't accept his mother being here with him. After all, she left him and not once tried to contact him. He could feel his mother tense at his cold tone.

She moved away from him and looked at him again " like I said I have much to tell you, but my time is limited, I can't stay long"

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes, he wasn't surprised she wouldn't stay. He had been miserable without her. Her leaving left an empty vacancy in his heart. He had filled it with loath and bitterness. That was not gonna change anytime soon, even if he had missed her.

" then tell me mother, what has caused you to make an Appearance now"

Kimi's power was starting to weaken. She could hear a voice. panicking, she told him that the temple is surrounded by monks. They have put talismans inside and outside of the temple to purify you. Sesshomaru was good at reading body language and mood. He had practiced that for many years.

Looking away from his mom, he walked to the door opening to depart, his mother shouted for him not to go, but it was too late. She watched as he was shocked and thrown back. This provoked his demon to resurface for a quick second.

His mother helplessly glances at him. She had to do something, anything, but her time was up. She felt herself disappearing " SESSHOMARU!" She cries out

Before disappearing entirely, she saw the monks using holy power outside the temple.

Meanwhile

Kagome waited for her teacher by the gate. While waiting, she felt pain in her midsection. Rubbing it to soothe it, She caught sight of Riku with his Biker gang glancing at her whistling like she was some call girl. When he noticed she wasn't paying attention, he walked to her with his squad and yanked her hand. She tried jerking it away, but he wouldn't let go. His comrades even tried hoisting her skirt. Furious, she hits him with her other hand. This prompts him to lift his hand to strike her.

She closed her eyes at this, but when nothing occurred she open her eyes to see her teacher taking pictures " if you keep harassing Mrs. Higurashi, I will have to make your mother see how her son respects women, Mr.Takashi, I'm sure your mother and father wouldn't like that" she says nonchalantly

Snaring, Riku let go of her hand and glared at the teacher before looking at Kagome. " this isn't over" he admitted, before taking off.

Kagome sighing gave an appreciative look to her teacher. She told Kagome not to worry, she asked if he had been picking on her for a while, and Kagome nodded. She told her ever since freshman year. Her teacher shook her head before giving Kagome a book.

" I'm sure you will learn and benefit from this, as I have"

Kagome glimpsed, reading the first book " the seven heavens" similarly she turned to the next " The legendary Savior" she glanced at her teacher and thanked her before turning to leave.

"Kagome?" Her teacher calls " are you ok?"

" Y…yea just feeling a little pain, cramps," she says

Her teacher told her to take some painkillers that should help her, and Kagome thanked her again before leaving. When she got home she decided to take a bath. She grabbed her things and headed to the bathroom and filled up her tub after she put some soap on and got in. She felt a bit relaxed, and the pain she was feeling subsided a little.

Looking at the ceiling, she recalled the book that was given to her. She saw it on top of the toilet seat and decided to grab it, and while reaching she felt a very painful contraction. It was so unbearable that she fell on the floor and blackout.
