Kikyou halts " did they think about that when they killed our people," she says bitterly " don't forget Kaede demons are no humans, they have no compassion. They are a brutal, conspiring abomination"

Kaede didn't like what she said, but then again she never encountered a demon before, so she wouldn't be able to relate.

" come we are almost done with the herbs, let's head back," she tells

Kaede beams heartily before pursuing her sister.

Meanwhile

Kagome, stirring, heard a voice in her head. " help him" it says

" Help who?" She inquires but the voice only answers back the same thing.

Opening her eyes she saw a ceiling that looked nothing like hers. She sat up to see a statue of a woman gazing at her. When She discovered she wasn't home, she got up and wandered around. Abruptly, she ceased when she saw someone lifeless in the corner. She caught sight of grey hair and very Familiar fur. " It couldn't be the same demon from before right?" She questioned

walking to Sesshomaru, she tries to turn him around but recognizes she couldn't. " Hey demon, are you ok?"

When there was no reaction she became worried. " What's wrong with him?"

Kagome stops her thoughts when she hears voices coming from outside.

" We have been waiting a long time to get rid of those white hair freaks-, killing two princes will surely weaken the house."

Hearing this Kagome gasped" killing? Is that why he's the way he is. She saw a group of monks by the entrance chanting, and suddenly she saw something which a normal human wouldn't be able to see. It heads straight to the demon causing him to cry out in pain.

Kagome could hear his scream, it unnerved her. His beautiful perfect skin was starting to burn. Even though she didn't know him, she did not want to see him hurt, mainly when he was helpless. " Stop it," she says

For a second, the leader of the monks stopped, but then he shook his head and continued. She heard Sesshomaru cry getting louder, and felt something jerking at her. " enough…please" she shouts

The voice from before appears in her head " Help him"

" H…How can I? I can't do anything, they will exterminate him" she cries.

Kagome, watching, turns to the prince when she hears him say " mother" before blood squirts from his mouth. She didn't like this, she didn't want this, she didn't know what they had against him, but killing him should not be the way to solve the dilemma.

" I said ENOUGH!" She cries out

A swirl of holy wind left her and headed straight for the monks, all while breaking the door. Kagome watches as the monks are knocked out. This astounded her, she didn't know what just occurred. " Did I just do that?" She questions.

" Sesshomaru, Inuyasha," a voice said

Kagome looks up to see a man appearing inside to grab the demon next to her. She could see how much he resembled the young demon. She wondered if they were related. He passed straight through her and picked him up before seizing him. She was ready to follow, but the world started shifting around her. The next thing Kagome realized she was gazing at a very beautiful person " what a gorgeous face" she mutters

" If you are done looking at this person, I suggest you put something decent on human"

Blinking Kagome quickly stood up from the floor " You!" She screams, stunned and yet perplexed on why he was with her when she saw him harmed.

Elsewhere

Kikyou was Jerked to a halt, she felt power that was identical to hers. She was trembling. Kaede asked if she was alright, she had an anxious expression. Suddenly Kikyou saw images playing before her. She saw holy power hitting the monks out cold. But she couldn't see who did it.

Steading her breath, she turns to Kaede, " get the others, the priests are in trouble." She replied in a small voice.

" what about you sister"

" I'll be fine, just hurry"

Not wasting time, both sisters fled in different directions. Kikyou wonders if the demon Miko is on their side or perhaps the gods are safeguarding the demon. She scratched the last part out. " Those monsters somehow got a hold of Miko, we must save her, they most likely brainwash her to help them. If that is the case, I will kill them" she says with an anguished attitude.
