" It's been three days now, my son has not come around," Toga says, he thought that if he had the demon powers he would have recovered easily, he thought while watching Eichi cleaning him up. He scolds himself for not being careful, Inuyasha and Koga are awake and healing nicely. He had inquired what happened, and they told him everything.

He wanted to despise those holy people, but if he was to provide what his demon needed, then how will he accomplish his goal to bring back the old alliance, to be in harmony with them. But if he doesn't do something, then more of his family and people will die.

" Lord Toga, from what I saw from his memories it would seem that he was safeguarded by his mother from the castle in the sky."

Toga turns to him " you think his mother Harmed those monks"

Rin gazing at her father figure nods " his mother's shrine was made to protect people in need, that's why her shrine is between the border."

Toga wondered if that was true, he will have a word with her later, but for now, his priority is his firstborn.

Elsewhere

Kikyou relaxing by the lake was meditating. She couldn't help but be distracted. That day when she found the monks, they were inanimate. When one stirred, she asked them what transpired, but they couldn't recollect what they did or why they were there. " Could it be that the demon wiped their memories or yet Miko helped them," she says, opening her eyes.

She remembered her vision, the power she felt, and the familiarity. She wonders what it could mean, what the demons are up to.

" Priestess" the voice lets out

" Miroku"

" What ails you?" He points while sitting down

" move any closer and I will break your hands Monk"

Miroku moved away while swallowing, Kikyou's eye glaring at him looking forward " my vision came back"

" I thought they vanished when you were a kid"

" yeah I thought so too, but that day it came back"

Miroku caressed his chin " well that's interesting"

" That's not all, the demons have a Miko on their side, well I think they do. They abducted one of our own"

" Are you sure it's our people"

Kikyou nods, she recalls that power again and shivers, it was ours, she thought.

Meanwhile

Kagome, still watching him, still didn't realize she was naked. Sesshomaru looked at her with a plain expression wondering how many times he will keep seeing her with no clothes on. Kagome observed him up and down, wondering where his wounds were.

" you are disrespecting this Sesshomaru by showing your unpleasant human body to this one"

Kagome's body turned red with fury, and embarrassment. " why you inconsiderate sympathetic ice prince, I'll let you know that my body is very preferable for my age"

Sesshomaru snarls at this " I would rather endure a feline in my bed than this" he says, whirling his back to her to depart.

Kagome intersects her arm while smirking" then what are you waiting for go ahead "

Sesshomaru stops at her daringness, " I don't take orders from you human"

Stomping her feet, Kagome strode to the door and told him to get out. Sesshomaru glared at her before clearing out. When gone, she begins to fume, " I can't believe I was worried for that Jerk. That won't happen next time, he can die for all I care"

A few minutes later, Kagome walks down to relax and reads the book her teacher told her to read. She saw it on the table but stops when she sees the demon staring at the tv. He was watching the scarlet moon.

" Even my brother fights more than this men. you humans are truly the fragile creature out of us"

" Well sorry that we humans can't become demons like yourself. We weren't born with abilities that can make us powerful."

" I'm glad you understood who is superior"

Kagome picking the book walks to the sofa and sat down "you're missing my point"

" your point is unnecessary to me"

Kagome sighs, she peers at him up and down before inquiring what was worrying her. She asked how he is fine. Sesshomaru told her he had no idea, he was oblivious but ended up in her world. He asked how she knew of his injuries, and she explained what happened.

" So you fell and ended up in my time. If I don't know any better I would say you were right about time traveling while asleep. We are indeed linked together and can only see each other when one of us is unconscious."

" It would make sense, but why of all people?" she mumbled, she heard clothes roughing and perked up to see sesshomaru in front of her. He gazes at her before leaning down. Kagome's surprise leaned further on the sofa. He moved and raised her shirt " I believe this might be our connection" he says glancing at it.

Kagome at first wanted to whack him for hoisting her shirt, and showing her pushup bra, but ceased and glanced at where his eyes lingered. " My Birthmark?" She lets out in turmoil.

Sesshomaru nods " that's not a Birthmark"

" It is, I've had it since I was a baby" she defends

Laying her shirt down, he peers at her very intensely " do you know what this mark is"

" no" she murmurs, all while evading his eyes.

Sesshomaru bends even closer to her, prompting Kagome to feel warm all over. " this is the mark of the moon"

" the mark of the moon?"

" Yes, only people of the moon get this mark, but somehow you were able to and you're not even a demon. Sesshomaru gets off her and turns his back to her "High-class taiyoukai like the royals obtain these marks just like our hair. They are powerful and gifted by the gods. my father isn't one so he doesn't have them, it's a rare case to find one now. And for the females who have this mark, they will be married or mated to one."

He turns back to her furious " so human, how is it you have this mark? Where is your mate" he growls dangerously?

Kagome, taking everything in, didn't know if this was true, but seeing how serious he seems, she decided to think carefully before speaking. To think that her birthmark had a meaning behind it was a joke. She couldn't help but think he had lost it.
