Legend of the Sun God
Welcome back to another installment of my little hobby. As promised this chapter will be 10k words long. Finally I have received some word on pairings thank you Drcaus for your phenomenal suggestion. I feel like it's something I could actually have fun writing. You may notice that Leighton is turning prideful. Negative impact of sunshine and I'm not reversing it. (Can't disrespect the og Escanor.) Rudeus is also more confident than his canon counterpart. This is due to him knowing his brother is from another world and still holds respect for him. This will obviously lead to more changes within the story.
A/N: I don't think I mentioned this in the first chapter but Leighton's skin color is a mix between Paul and Ghislaine so he's not white like Paul but then again he's not dark skinned like Ghislaine. Pretty much just a light skin kind of color. Well I think I'm dragging this a bit so without further ado, let's get started!

Chapter 3: Making Friends in Times of Peace
It's been about a month and half since Roxy left. The atmosphere after she left was pretty bad. That's simply because nobody knows how to talk to me besides Rudy. Even though I'm not mad or sad about what Paul said 2 and a half years ago, the whole family still feels as though it's been a little rift in our relationship. Everytime Paul talks to me he avoids looking me in the eyes as if he's ashamed.
"Happy Birthday Lei!" Everyone shouted.
"Thank you all very much." I said with a deep bow of gratitude.
"Oh come on kid, don't go bowing on your birthday. It's your day so enjoy it to the fullest." Paul informed me while rubbing my head.
"I'll take you up on that, LETS EAT." I announced with passion causing laughter throughout the house.
Zenith and LIlia seemed to have made a lot of food. More than Rudy's birthday. There's a reason for that. I can eat forever. Usually due to the family's budget I never actually get to eat until I'm full. Being a beastman means needing more sustenance to support my body's needs. So today I'm gonna go in.
"Lei before you start eating, I beg of you please save some for us." Rudy laughed.
"The early bird gets the worm." I simply retorted. When I said this Rudy smirked while Lilia, Zenith, and Paul all wore a confused expression. Seems using sayings from another world would do that. If I'm not careful I may end up becoming this world's greatest philosopher.
After that we started eating. Within the first minute I was already getting second helpings.
"The food is not going anywhere, Lei. We made enough to normally last us 3 days. Take your time." Zenith ordered with a soft smile.
I for one knew that the food wasn't going anywhere but that didn't stop myself from fully letting my animalistic instincts take over when it came to filling my stomach.
"I know Lady Zenith but It's kind of how I am." I shyly responded.
"Just like your mother I see. Both of you have cute responses as well." Zenith teased.
To this I blushed and went back to eating only at a slower pace.
After about a good 30 minutes I had downed 9 helpings and for the first time in this life, was completely full. It was a good feeling but one I knew I wouldn't experience much while I was here. After eating everyone went upstairs. I didn't know why but it hit me after a minute of thinking. My presents. I wondered what everyone got me.
As they all returned it was pretty apparent what they had gotten me. Paul got me a sword. It was different from the one Rudy got though. It had a black hilt with silver engravings up the handle. Zenith got me a book but it was only filled with spells on healing magic. Lilia made me a hair tie. It was black with gold accents which is a pretty opposite from my blonde hair with silver highlights. Surprisingly Rudy also came down with a present of his own. He was holding a stone figurine of our master Roxy.
"Kid here you go. I know how much you expressed wanting to walk the path of the sword. This path is not an easy one. It takes twice the work to master the sword then it does with magic. However I believe in your potential, my son and I know you will make it work." Paul clearly announced.
Paul seemed to enjoy giving speeches though they usually weren't bad so I don't mind. I doubted that it actually took twice as long and that Paul was mostly talking out of his ass but I played along.
"Thank you so mu-"
"Oh sweetie I got you a book filled with healing magic just like you wanted." Zenith cut me off.
Seems she was too excited to simply stay quiet any longer though I can't blame her.
"Thank you, lady Zenith. Thank you so much father. These are exactly the tools I need to get stronger!" I was bursting with excitement. With this I would finally get one step closer to accomplishing my short term goal. Becoming a sword saint and master wordless healing before age 10.
"Master Leighton, I made you a hair tie. I know you refuse to cut your hair so you should at least tie it." Lilia said with an unusual soft smile.
"Thank you Lilia. I don't mind tying it but nobody cuts my hair off." I asserted to which Lilia nodded.
"Seems like I'm last." Rudy was also wearing an unusual smile. One with a slight tinge of red in it. He was embarrassed.
"Lei I uh… I made this.. For you. IT HAS OUR MASTERS DIVINE BODY FOR ALL TO SEE. THE CLOTHES ARE EVEN REMOVABLE." Rudy roared.
To say I was surprised was an understatement. I thought he was worried about something but turns out his pervy smile just looks a bit more innocent now. Everyone deadpanned.
"Thanks Rudy, I can tell you put a lot of time into it so I'll treasure it." I promised. I wasn't lying. This was the first gift Rudy ever granted me besides wordless magic. Not to mention It's a perfect model of my master. I would definitely treasure it forever.
With all the gifts out of the way everyone went to their rooms. The sound of Zenith and Paul going at it reverberated through the house. Rudy, like always, was listening through the wall and trying his best to picture them. I was lying on my bed trying my best to sleep but even I couldn't help but blush at this. Paul seemed to be scum however when it came to bed I guess his worth was another story. I put those thoughts to rest as best as I could and fell asleep.
1 week later
Rudy and I had been going outside and exploring the village for almost 2 months now. Usually we would just sit next to a tree on a hill while we chucked water balls to see who could blast them the farthest. I always lose.
"Get out of our village you damned demon."
Rudy and I both got up immediately and looked down the hill for the source. It was a group of three boys throwing mud balls at someone. I looked surprised for a few moments before starting the dash towards this group, Rudy right behind me.
As we closed in the bullies noticed us.
"Hey what the-" He started but was violently interrupted when I punched him square in his solar plexus followed by a swift kick to his cheek. He went down. Unmoving. The other bullies slowly backed away then ran away like the cowards they are. Rudy is holding up water balls but looks disappointed.
"Couldn't you give me one?" Rudy jokes
"I don't like bullies, never have." I stated with an unusually cold tone.
"I agree with you there." Rudy replied with a saddened look.
The person being bullied slowly started to get up and turn towards us. They had green hair and red eyes. Rudy seemed to be shaking initially but then calmed when they had revealed their forehead.
Flashback
Master Roxy, Rudy and I were all sitting outside on the grass. The sun was shining bright. She was giving stories on her past adventuring days before she remembered something she had forgotten to tell us.
"Beware of the Superd. They are a dangerous tribe of demons. They all have emerald green hair and a gem in their forehead. If you see them run as far and fast as you can. If you're not careful they'll kill you and your whole family." Roxy said with a visibly terrified look.
Rudy seemed to also have a slight tinge of fear. I, on the other hand, didn't care. The sun wouldn't allow me to fear such creatures. I didn't know how strong they were and I didn't care. I would be stronger so why fear them? Good Lord Truck kun, this pride isn't doing me any favors.
End Flashback
Once they completely turned I realized that they were actually a girl. A beautiful one at that and she looked our age too. This is my chance. My one shot. THE CHILDHOOD FRIEND TROPE MY TIME HAS COME OH IT'S A GOOD DAY TRUCK KUN. However before I could say or do anything Rudy had moved forward.
"Come here for a sec." Rudy ordered, to which the green haired girl hesitantly followed. Once she was close enough Rudy grabbed her shirt with his right hand and made a large amount of water with his left. This put the girl on guard and she tried to run away to no avail.
"Calm down. I'm only washing the mud out of your hair." Rudy explained. As he did the girl began to calm down. Rudy released warm water from his hands and washed the girls hair.
After washing her hair for about a good 30 seconds, Rudy began to dry it.
"So why were they bullying you?" I asked with a positive tone trying my best to avoid upsetting her.
I failed. I failed miserably.
"They say it's because I'm a demon… It's because I have green hair." she stuttered but quickly started to explain herself.
"I'M NOT A DEMON." tears were streaming down her face as she continued.
"My mothers human. My dad's half elf. But my hair… It's not the same color as either of my parents.
Racism. You know when I died and came to another world I didn't expect all my old world's problems to carry over, but I would have hoped to avoid seeing this particular controversial issue. Worst part about this whole thing is their calling her a demon but they don't even have their facts straight. I feel bad.
"It's okay, don't worry. We know you're not a demon. If you want, would you wanna be our friend?" Rudy voiced. The look of pain on the little girl's face seemed to be melting away just by being in our presence. Poor little thing. She's probably been alone without any friends all her life.
"Are you sure that's okay? Those boys won't want to play with you." the green haired child questioned with slight hesitancy in her voice.
"Of course any guys who would gang up on a defenseless person are scum in my books." Rudeus replied with a bit of frustration.
"Worse than scum." I added.
The girl's eyes widened at our words. Tears flowed out but this time they weren't sad tears, but tears of pure joy. Rudy and I both smiled at her display in emotion.
"My name is Rudeus, this is my little brother Leighton. What's your name?"
"I'm Sylph-" she started but was interrupted.
"Oh Sylph. That's pretty cool, you're like a wind spirit." Rudy noted.
"Um…mm, yea." Sylph replied shyly. She seemed like she wanted to say something else but inevitably gave up.
I looked between the two and realized something was weird about how Rudy has been treating Sylph this whole time. Rudy is a huge pervert so a young girl like this should surely have…..
Then I figured it out. He thinks she's a boy, doesn't he. How the hell do you think that? I could tell she was a girl from the damn hill we were sitting on but he can't figure it out. I get that I'm a beastman and I can smell better than others, but even without my enhanced smell I would have been able to tell that Sylph is definitely a she.
"Well since we're all friends now what do you guys want to do?" I asked.
"I dunno never had a friend before." Sylph answered
"Tag?" Rudy questioned with a huge smirk.
"I mean we could, but Rudy you sure you want to play tag with me here?" I queried mockingly.
"Yeah you're right, nevermind." Rudy deflated.
I'm happy he understands. When It comes to physical activity Rudy sucks. On the contrary, that's my strongest area. A game of tag would be just like a turtle chasing a hare. Probably would end the same now that I think about it with my sudden confidence spike.
After a few minutes of thinking Rudy spoke up again.
"We could play water tag with magic."
Smart man. Taking advantage of his greatest strength
"I'm down with that but Sylph probably doesn't know magic." I was informed.
"Magic." Sylph asked.
"See." I shrugged.
"It's what I used to wash your hair and dry it." Rudy educated.
"Can I use it?" Sylph questioned with a slight frown.
"Doesn't hurt to try and teach you." Rudy sighed.
Rudy spent the next 3 hours of the day explaining magic theory to Sylph and a few incantations. She was quite the fast learner though it was obvious her head didn't quite wrap itself around some of what was said. Rudy to his credit was a good teacher himself. That part of him caused me to wonder what kind of job he had. Was he a university student? These questions piled up in my brain until Sylph finally managed to cast beginner level magic.
"I did it. I DID IT." Sylph cheered.
"You got that quicker than both of us." Rudy started. "If you keep this up you'll surpass Lei in no time."
"Ha you're hilarious." I said while rolling my eyes.
"Wait, I just realized something. Sylph started and both Rudy and I waited for her to continue. "You never use incantations when you use magic."
"Ah, so you have recognized my genius. Yes that's true we don't use incantations. It's called wordless spell casting. We're pretty much just built different." Rudy explained.
"Could I skip the incantations as well?" Sylph queried.
"I actually don't know. Our master couldn't learn it no matter how hard we tried to teach her but you may also be built different." I answered this time.
Sylph's eyes widened with excitement. Before quickly turning back into serious learning mode.
"Teach me." Sylph demanded.
Damn we've been friends for 3 and a half hours and she's already making demands. You love to see it. Rudy looked even more surprised that the shy Sylph we've known would be ready to demand help.
"Alright I'll help you with this. First you're gonna wanna feel the mana in your body then picture the spell you wanna cast. After that, bring the mana to your hands and release it. It's harder than you'd think and It takes a lot of concentration." Rudy explained.
"Okay I'm gonna give it a try." Sylph vocalized her determination.
A few moments passed of struggling. Rudy and I both watched closely. I would honestly be surprised if she got it with how long it took me. Rudy on the other hand was changing his facial expression from neutral to happy then to annoyed. I couldn't really pinpoint his thoughts but I assumed he wanted Sylph to fail. Unfortunate. Truck kun isn't a kind benevolent god, instead he's a god that kills for his own amusement. The moral here is he isn't gonna give us something simply because we want it. Not unless we offer him a sacrifice or something. My suspicions were confirmed when a waterball emerged from Sylph's hand.
"I DID IT." Sylph cheered. Rudy dropped his head in sadness and I clapped.
"Got it 2 weeks faster than me, that's worth celebrating. You truly are amazing." I informed her.
Sylph's face lit up a tinge of red but nonetheless she was smiling.
After that Rudy seemed to get out of his downcast state and decided to take initiative. He threw a water ball at the back of my head and before saying "You're it."
Sylph quickly followed Rudy. I decided to give them a good 10 second head start. After all, they were going to need it.
After a good 4 hours of playing we walked Sylph home and said our goodbyes before turning around and heading back to our house. We spent most of the time going back and forth about who dominated the game. It was quite the stalemate. Sylph was just there but the game was mainly between Rudy and I. Rudy couldn't tag me without putting in a lot of effort due to my evasive 4 limb movements. Although I was in the same position. His mana pool is insanely huge and he would make rapid attacks. I would have to use most of my stamina evading instead of focusing on getting away. Just goes to show how close in skill we actually are.
As we arrived home our father was waiting for us at the door. Was this Paul being a worried father and waiting for his kids' safe return? Not a chance. Paul being a good father is harder to believe than Truck kun actually being the god of this world.
"Hey father sorry we're late we made a new fr-" Rudy started but was cut off.
"Do you have any idea why out here?" Paul asked sternly
"Lemme guess the poor little baby went crying to his mommy." I mocked.
"Lei, that's enough of the jokes, this is serious I'm really mad at the both of you. Ganging up on little Somal like that." Paul announced. He was completely livid.
"Ganged? We didn-" Once again Rudy was cut off.
"You're supposed to apologize before you try explaining yourself." Paul rudely interrupted once more.
No matter what we say nothings gonna get through to him unless we apologize. I looked over at Rudy who was clenching his fist in anger. I could tell he was preparing himself to do something rash. Rudy's relationship with Paul was to this point perfect. I didn't want him to go and throw that away so I spoke up first.
"What a father you are." I coughed.
"What was that?" Paul asked, his head was literally steaming.
"I said I bet you feel strong flexing your superiority over two 5 year olds. You won't even let us explain our side of the story. Now I understand why mother le- I was interrupted but this time not by Paul's voice but by his fist.
"LEI! Rudy shouted and ran over to help me up.
Paul stood there frozen lookin at his hand which had a bit of blood on it. It was a pretty good hit even I had to admit it. Definitely felt like it at least.
"Father. We didn't gang up on Somal. He and a group of his friends were bullying our new friend Sylph, so we ran over and helped chase them off." Rudy explained with evident sadness.
Paul looked at Rudeus with wide eyes before locking eyes with me. His persona had completely changed. He went from anger to fear. Fear of what I couldn't tell you but fear nonetheless.
"Lei." Paul started. "I'm..sorry."
Our relationship wasn't that good in the first place and this little event wasn't doing any favors. I wasn't exactly mad at him. I might have gone a little too far bringing up my mother.
"It's fine." I began. "I went too far as well. I just wanted you to understand that we should be able to speak for ourselves before apologizing for something we don't truly feel sorry for."
"Rudy head inside. I want to talk to your little brother." Paul ordered.
Rudy looked between Paul and myself a few times before helping me up then walking inside the house.
"Son, I realize I haven't been the best father to you." Paul started. I decided to let him continue. "I've said some terrible things regarding you and your mother. It's true that when I took advantage of your mother, I hadn't expected her to get pregnant, and It's also true that when she told me I was devastated." But…son you need to know. When I first saw you. All of that changed. Your little hands wrapped around my finger and I realized just how defenseless you are. I swore to protect you even If it's not what Zenith, Ghislaine and I agreed to. Originally your mother was gonna take you with her immediately after recovering and leave, but that night I convinced them to let you stay with us. I couldn't send my son out into the world. To this day I do not regret that decision. You, and Rudy are my pride. My legacy. My everything."
Paul was sincerely apologizing to me. Tears were threatening to leave his eyes. Before I could say anything he hugged me and held me tight and said
"I don't want to lose you son. Not now, not ever so please. Please forgive your foolish father."
I couldn't see his face but by his shaking and sobs I could tell that he's crying. I didn't have hate towards my father, but I guess he believes I still do. I appreciate him being honest with me about everything though, because of that I'm gonna give him my honest thoughts as well. Tears started rolling down my eyes. That's right this is my second chance at a good relationship with my father and I damn sure wouldn't waste it.
"I love you father. I don't want us to fight ever again." I cried while pushing my head into my father's chest. We sat there for a long while. In each other's embrace before we walked back inside the house together.

3 months later
I was training with Paul while Rudy and Sylph were out training magic. At least that's what we usually do while I'm there so I assumed they were. Within the last 3 months I've grown quite a bit. Not by any means tall, but I had a fair bit of muscle on my bones and I'm about two inches taller than Rudy now, excluding the hair and ears. My physique isn't the only thing that's changed. The sun's influence on my strength has also increased. The sun has been steadily increasing my strength for the last 5 years and I feel like It will continue to do so as I grow older. No changes when it comes to my little nighttime nerf though unfortunately.
Another notable piece of info is Rudy hasn't learned Sylph is a girl yet. Everytime he talks to me about Sylph he says stuff like "He's gonna be a real looker, or I hope he'll send some of the girls my way." I've decided to let him figure it out on his own. I'm not gonna go ahead and tell him and let him mess up how he treats Sylph. Nope we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
"Kid, you're growing fast. Keep this up and by your 8th birthday you might actually accomplish that sword saint goal." Paul praised.
Paul had also been improving. He had gone from advance in all 3 to a sword saint in Sword god style and North god style. Having a competent sparring partner will do that to you.
"Yea It's thanks to you father that I was able to even improve at all so thank you." I said with a bit of a grin.
My relationship with Paul is better than ever. He finally seemed as if he wasn't afraid to talk to me or look me in the eyes and would often joke with me. It's not as good as his and Rudy's but It's a start.
A loud rumbling started to echo throughout the village.
"Seems like it's gonna rain. We should head inside." Paul suggested.
"Alright we were just about done anyways." I agreed.
As Paul and I went inside I took one last look at the sun before it was covered by clouds.

A couple hours later Rudy and Sylph came running into the house completely soaked. I was sitting at the dinner table in the next room.
"Master Rudeus, I have drawn you a bat- oh it seems you brought a little guest." Lilia greeted.
"Yeah hey Lilia this is Sylph. Thanks for drawing my bath. You're so good to me." Rudy thanked Lilia before grabbing Sylph's hand and running upstairs.
Lilia looked confused. I was pretty confused as well. Why did Rudy just take Sylph with him. No. He isn't planning on bathing with her is he? No he must just be letting her go in first he can't be that dense. I decided to have faith in my older brother. Although within minutes it was obvious I had made a huge mistake. Sylph's cry was heard throughout the house. Zenith went upstairs to see what was going on while Lilia and I waited downstairs. A few seconds later Zenith came down with Sylph. Her clothes were still soaked, and so were her eyes. She was crying into Zenith's shirt. I didn't bother asking, I already could assume what had happened. Rudy must have forced her to reveal that she is in fact a she.
After a few minutes Sylph stopped crying and was looking at me. She was still sad but she seemed to have another look in those eyes. Fear. Just what the hell did Rudy do… Did he push the act when he found out he was a girl. Did he try to play it off like he saw nothing. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised. Though Sylph looking at me like that kinda hurt. I'd grown to care deeply about her so the thought she'd fear me shook me to my core.
Paul and Rudy came down the stairs about 10 minutes later. Rudy's eyes never leaving the floor.
"Say it Rudy." Paul ordered.
"Sylph…Sylphiette. I'm so sorry I did what I did. I thought you were a boy. Once I realized you weren't I got too excited and didn't recognize that you were feeling uncomfortable. I'm so sorry. Rudy finished and was bowing at a perfect 90 degrees.
SO HE DID DO SOMETHING AFTER HE FOUND OUT. I can't believe I trusted him. It didn't feel right leaving things they were and I felt bad knowing I could have prevented this.
"Sylph. I mean Sylphiette. I started which caused everyone to turn to me. "I must also apologize. I knew you were a girl since we met and also knew that Rudy wasn't aware. I wanted him to avoid knowing because Rudy's a pervert and I thought that if he found out you're a girl he would treat you differently. I too am sorry." I finished with a bow on all fours which was a really big deal for someone as prideful as me.
Sylphy started crying again into Zenith's arms.
"Both of my sons are complete idiots. I'm sorry Sylphiette for raising such incompetent boys." Paul also bowed.
"Like father, like son." Rudy whispered before whistling when Paul turned to him.
It took a good bit of effort and time before Sylphy trusted us again. The day it happened was about a week after. Rudy and I were training in swordplay against Paul. Until Sylphy showed up. Paul pushed us towards her. All of our eyes were glued to the dirt.
"I-It's g-good to s-see your b-b-b-beautiful face Sylphiette." Rudy complimented though it seemed more like he was held at gunpoint.
"Sylphy I'm sorry. I should have told Rudy. I miss the time us 3 spent together. Can't we just go back to normal?" I apologized then asked. Rudy looked at me in surprise for a bit before nodding. Sylphy hesitated but then spoke up.
"I'd like that."
After that we went to our hill and practiced magic all day. All was well. It would take some time but sooner or later everything would be back to normal. Life was looking good. That is until later that night when Rudy and I were in bed. Separate beds. We still shared a room though. Our parents offered to give one of us the guest room that Roxy had stayed in but we refused. We enjoyed each other's company. Rudy asked me a question that I didn't expect to hear from him. "Hey uh Lei. Do you like Sylphy?" I couldn't see him due to the darkness of the room but I could tell he was uncomfortable asking that. I thought about his question for a few seconds before answering
"No I don't. She's not my type bro. She seems a little too quiet. I need a girl with a little bit of fire you know?" I responded honestly.
Rudy remained quiet for a bit before speaking
"I'm happy to hear that. I really didn't want to fight over her. Just happy we're on the same page."
"Yea I'd rather avoid that outcome as well." I agreed.
With that out of the way Rudy and I both drifted into sleep but not before offering a prayer to my almighty lord.

6 months later
Time flew by and not a lot changed. Rudy and I had reached a plateau in magic growth. However we both seemed to grow in the sword. Though my growth was a bit more exciting. I had finally done it. I broke the barrier. I had become Advanced in Sword God Style! The rest were still Intermediate but this was huge! Sure I lacked experience but I could sure enough make up for that in the 3 S words. Strength, Speed, and Skill. I had plenty of those.
My hair had gotten even longer and at its max length it was about at my thighs, but recently I cut it. It only took a sentence from Rudy to make me cut it.
"You're starting to look like a girl." That's all it took. That's all it took for me to decide to chop my whole life's worth of hair off.
I didn't wanna just cut it randomly so I asked Lilia to do it. I had seen her trimming Zenith's hair before so I felt like she knew what she was doing. Boy was I right. She cut the sides and back as much as she could to around half an inch. Then she cut the top of my hair to about ear length. After that she combed my hair and parted it in the middle (Think Levi Ackerman and that's kinda how it looks). It came out looking great. The blonde hair with silver highlights popped the most with shorter hair. The ears also took nothing away from the look. Not to mention my heterochromic eyes stand out more.
When Lilia presented me to our family they all were shocked. They had forgotten what my whole face looked since it was always covered by hair.
"You look just like your mother." Zenith complimented…I think.
"Yeah, that's my boy looking just as handsome as your father." Paul added.
"I absolutely refuse any further contact with Sylphy." Rudy joked.
"Thanks everyone." I bowed.
It's the first time I had been complimented on my appearance without being called "cute."
"Oh you're so adorable. Oh right I just remembered I have something very important to tell you all. I'll explain it over dinner. Come now." Zenith finished.
I spoke too soon. Gotta note to avoid that now. Although I'm interested in what's so important.
A few minutes later we all had a share of food on our plates but before anyone could dig in Zenith grabbed Paul's hand and spoke up.
"I'M FINALLY PREGNANT!" To say we were surprised is a huge understatement. It had been around 6 years since our birth and we hadn't even heard a word about another child.
"Congrats Mother!" Rudy was still very stunned.
"Congrats,Lady Zenith!" I added.
There was a very noticeable silence coming from Lilia but Zenith was the only one that seemed to notice. Paul picked up on it and couldn't help but sweat profusely.
"I'm so happy now Zenith, we've tried for years. Finally our little families are gonna be a little bigger!" Paul cheered with a bit of sweat still on his forehead.
"I'm not gonna lie I didn't think I'd ever get pregnant again but here we are and I'm so happy." Zenith informed.
After Paul had finished rubbing Zenith's belly everyone was about to dig in and enjoy the good news and food simultaneously. That was short lived.
"Forgive me I'm afraid I'm pregnant." Lilia apologetically announced.
There it is. Silence followed that declaration. Lilia is almost always in the house unless she's doing laundry. Which means there's only one man who can be the father. Everyone looked over at Paul to see him sweating more than post training.
"I'm sorry. It's probably mine." Paul admitted.
Zenith got up and stood above Paul with a look that shook my core before hitting him right on the top of the head and walking out of the room.
Paul was going to get up and follow but I decided to hop in.
"Father. I know I'm just a kid and understand nothing, but you really should leave Lady Zenith alone right now. Let her return to herself only then will she be ready to talk."
"Yeah, Father Lei's right, just give it some time. I'm sure we can work through this as a family but we have to be smart." Rudy added.
Paul sat back down before putting his head on the table. This situation is bad. Zenith forgave Paul once in the past but forgiveness can only be given when newfound trust is applied. Cheating on your wife once is bad, but doing it again after she forgives you..The future of our family doesn't look too good.
Lilia looked on the verge of tears. This is the most emotional I've seen her show. I can't even blame her. I honestly feel bad for her. She had to live in a house, with for what it's worth, a very handsome man. When I put myself in her situation, I would do the same thing.
"I think I should go talk to Lady Zenith." Lilia finally spoke.
"Lilia, please trust me. It's a terrible idea." I informed her.
She looked back down at the table, this time tears escaping her eyes as she wiped at them to stop. We sat there for about 2 hours in complete silence. Only then did Zenith return.
"Rudy, Lei, Paul." Get out. Zenith demanded putting extra spite in the last name she called.
The three of us didn't hesitate for even a second. We all walked out of the room with our chairs and sat against the opposite side of the wall. The silence was deafening.
"I'm tired of being betrayed." Zenith started. "I'm done with this. I can't keep staying as faithful as I am and getting treated like dirt in return."
Rudeus and I were peeking into the room and we could see Lilia was back to crying. I don't know much about the details, but I'm sure when Paul cheated on Zenith the first time it was Lilia who comforted her. Now she's the one causing so much pain to her mistress and friend.
"I know it doesn't mean much my Lady, but I'm terribly sorry." Lilia could barely even finish her sentence before she started sobbing.
This action caused an equal reaction from Zenith who started tearing up again.
"So what will you do?" Zenith asked.
"I plan to return to my hometown after assisting you with childbirth." Lilia answered after wiping her tears.
"That's a month's ride south isn't it? Zenith questioned again. You'll be in no condition to make that trip."
Lilia remained quiet for what seemed like minutes. Then she spoke up again.
"That is true, however I'm afraid I have nowhere else to turn."
Zenith was having an internal conflict. She couldn't keep the person who betrayed her in the house, even if they were her friend, however if she kicked Lilia out the chances the baby would survive would be slim at best. That's not even including Lilia. If Lilia goes down, the baby is done for.
"Surely you cou-"
"YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" Paul started but was swiftly shut down by Zenith.
Paul slumped back into his chair.
Rudy seemed like he was contemplating also going out. I honestly didn't know what to do so I decided to leave it to him. If he needed backup I would provide it but I trust Rudy's judgment.
"Mother?" Rudy started. "Why is everyone upset? I thought having another sibling would be a good thing?"
So he's playing innocent huh. Smart I definitely wouldn't have thought about it. If it was me I would have just offered to aid Lilia on her trip to her hometown but this is a far better option.
"It's because It means your father and Lilia did something very very bad." Zenith answered, hiding her face in her hands.
"The way I see it, it's not like Lilia could say no right?" Rudy started.
Zenith turned to Rudy with a confused expression as did Paul and Lilia. I could tell regardless this isn't going to end well.
"A couple of weeks ago I heard my father and Lilia talking. Father said something like "Spread your legs if you don't want to get out."
"Rudy what are yo-
"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO STAY OUT OF THIS." Paul tried to speak but was once again shut down.
Zenith was shocked.
"Lilia, is this true?" Zenith questioned.
"No my lady, surely master Rudeus must be mistaken." Lilia answered.
"No, don't worry he must have you under his thumb. I understand Lilia." Zenith said, understanding her son's lie.
"Mother, Lila's going to have a kid. Regardless, those kids are gonna be my little brother or sister. Don't you think I should be able to bond with my little siblings. If Lei had been sent away I don't know how I would have lived with myself. So please mother…Please don't Lilia send away. I'll miss her." Rudy finished with a few sobs before looking my way.
I guess it's my time to shine.
"Lady Zenith. This is gonna be my little brother or sister too. I thank you for the kindness you showed my mother and I, so I feel bad for asking this selfish request but please, please Lady Zenith don't send Lila away. She won't make it." I begged.
The job was as good as done. I threw in some kitten eyes a few purrs with my sobs and drooped my tail and ears. Nobody, not even Truck-Kun, could resist such cuteness. As Zenith looked away we both turned to Lilia and gave a little thumbs up before Zenith returned her gaze to us and smiled.
"Oh I can't go against my boys." Zenith said while hugging Rudy, and petting my head.
"Lilia, you will stay here and continue working as our maid. I'm not gonna send my friend and her child to your deaths." Zenith announced before walking out. She stopped at Paul and stared daggers at him.
"We'll talk later." She informed me but it sounded more like a threat.
Lilia looked at Rudy and I and we both smiled at her. She quickly started tearing up. Those tears turned into a flood. She was sobbing loudly. Rudy and I decided to give her a moment and walked out of the room. Only to be met by Paul. He stared down at Rudy with the eyes of a demon. Then walked really close to Rudy before placing a hand on his shoulder and whispering something in his ears. This shook Rudy. I couldn't hear what he said but It must have been bad. I decided I would question it as Rudy and I went up to bed. The rest of the night was silent and all that was exchanged between Rudy and I was a nod and a smile before drifting off to sleep.

9 months later
Rudy and Paul had a pretty rocky relationship leading up to the birth of our siblings but around the 3rd month of Lilia and Zenith's pregnancy they seemed to work it out. My everyday life consisted of waking up and running around the village with Sylphy and Rudeus then later in the morning training with Paul and Rudy in swordsmanship in the morning, training healing magic with Rudy, Zenith, and Sylphy in the afternoon, and playing with Rudy and Sylphy in the evening. At night I would practice running around the village on all fours with the sword I received from Paul at my hip. Just in case I run into monsters.
After all this time we progressed immensely. I reached advanced rank in all three sword styles. Rudy had reached intermediate in sword god style. However he wasn't confident in his physical abilities which is the main reason we decided to train in the morning. Sylphy simply didn't want to be left behind. It was also around this time where I noticed my body was starting to get bigger in the sunlight. Hiding this power from anyone would soon become impossible. However it wasn't all bad. I grew a little taller sure but the main plus was the huge increase in my strength everytime I grew bigger. Sword saint is closer than I had thought. Rudy, Sylphy, and I also learned to use wordless incantations on beginner level healing spells. Doesn't sound like much but it's a huge plus.
As I was training one night I ran into a goblin. It was the first monster I had ever seen. I was completely alone and it was pretty terrifying. My usual pride was gone as was the sun, but I knew I wasn't going to run away from one of the weakest monsters. So I decided to attack. I started by rushing the goblin who was unarmed. Poor fool didn't stand a chance. I cut his head off like I was cutting butter with a steak knife. It was pretty anticlimactic. I carried the body and head back to the house.
"FATHER, RUDY, SYLPHY, LADY ZENITH, LILIA!" I shouted immediately after entering.
Everyone was sitting in the dining room enjoying dinner without me but upon hearing me they all looked at the door and everyone except for Paul spat out their food as I walked in. The goblins' carcass was dripping blood. The head had a look of fear in its lifeless eyes.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Rudy questioned.
Sylphy got up and hid behind Rudy's chair.
"What do you think you're doing bringing that thing in here?" Paul asked the question everyone wanted the answer to.
I actually didn't have an answer just thought they'd think it's cool but I guess I was wrong.
"I wanna drain the blood and hang it up on my wall." I quickly responded with a lie.
Zenith and Lilia, who had become Paul's second wife after the incident, face palms.
"Kid I'm sure you're smart enough to know we don't bring corpses into the house. You are, aren't you?" Paul questioned.
"Maybe I couldn't wait for you all to come outside and got a little impatient." I retorted once again with another lie.
Everyone could tell I was lying. Being a beastman doesn't help. My ears twitch when I lie and my tail moves around slowly.
Paul facepalmed before saying
"I'll help you drain it kid but that's gonna stink up your room."
Rudy instantly shot a fireball at the corpse and the head of the goblin to start cremating it. That would have been cool if we were outside and not in a wooden house. The flames quickly started to spread but Rudy realized his mistake and immediately started putting out the flames. I joined in as did Sylphy. The fire was out within the first 5 seconds. I thought Paul would scold us but instead. He laughed. After he started laughing everyone else followed. That is until Zenith started screaming followed by a splash hitting the ground.
"M-my water broke!" Zenith announced which caused Paul to panic and lead his wife upstairs.
Everyone followed. Except myself and Rudy. We were "too young." Even Sylphy was allowed in by Lilia who said it would be good for her to learn about this. Lilia had become super loving towards Rudeus and myself. So much so that she even told us stories over her past and her relations with Paul. Which only made us lose a little bit more respect for the man.
Rudy and I sat in our room working on stone sculptures of Roxy and Sylphy. That is until we heard the beautiful painful sound of a baby's first cry. We looked at each other for a few moments before sprinting to the door of Paul and Zenith's room. We stopped and knocked. After a few moments Sylphy opened the door and she was smiling. We walked in with her and watched as Zenith held a blonde haired baby. The baby's eyes were closed so I couldn't make out an eye color but my heart melted upon seeing her? I leaned over Zenith's arm just enough to see as did Rudy. Yes, a beautiful baby sister.
"Got a name?" Rudy asked.
"Yes we thought of one already. It's Norn." Zenith answered never taking her eyes off her newborn.
Norn. Finally a younger sibling. I walked over and held her hand between my index finger and thumb. Even with my small hands hers were way smaller. I swore at that moment. I would be the protective older brother as my brother Rudy has been to me.
"Can I name your child Lilia?" Rudeus asked
"Nope no you can not, that's my job kid get your own." Paul voiced.
"I'm sorry Master Rudeus but if that's what My lord wishes then it shall be." Lilia bowed.
"No It's fine I can wait." Rudy said before looking back at Sylphy who started blushing.
Already making moves huh Rudy. That's crazy. After everyone had their turn talking to Norn, Zenith fell asleep so everyone left. Norn's crib was put in the guest room. Rudy, Sylphy, and I returned to our room. Sylphy hadn't planned on spending the night but she told her parents that she'd be staying late. So we shouldn't have to worry there.
As we walked in, Sylphy stopped at the door.
"What's wrong Sylphy?" I asked
"Where do I sleep?" Sylphy asked, her face crimson.
"Oh that's all? You can have my bed if you want. I'll just sleep with Rudy." I explained.
Rudy gave me a death stare. I made a face that said bro you can't be serious. You're not even 7 yet and you already want to sleep with a girl? You gotta be kidding. He rolled his eyes and threw himself on the bed.
I facepalmed before laying on his bed.
"Goodnight Rudy, Goodnight Lei." Sylphy said from my bed.
"Goodnight Sylph." Rudy and I both said.
We all drifted straight to sleep. We woke up at around 4 am in the morning thanks to a certain newborn. Fortunately for me I usually got up around this time to train my body before morning runs at around 6. Anyways, Rudy and Sylphy looked exhausted. I got up and shouted
"I'LL SEE WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER. Loud enough so everyone could hear me. I didn't want Paul or Lilia getting out of bed this early, especially Lilia. So I got up and walked to Norns' room. As I left the room I heard Rudy getting up and moving towards my bed. May Truck-Kun be with Sylphy.
When I reached Norn's room I opened the door and sure enough she was crying her eyes out. I picked her up and took her outside downstairs so her crying would be more quiet. I honestly never understood babies, but I knew they don't cry for no reason. She's too young to want attention so it can't be that. Hopefully it's not hunger. I can't solve that. That leaves. Oh god. I cursed my luck. Why did I decide to take care of her? There's no way I'm gonna have to be changing diapers. I refuse. Regardless of how I feel, inevitably I found myself walking with her to a cabinet where I remember Zenith grabbing diapers when I was a baby. I grabbed a new diaper and some cloth that looked like a handkerchief. I took it then smelt Norn's diaper to see what we were dealing with.
It turned out to be the worst case scenario. Both. I laid her down on a chair and crouched down to one knee. I took off her diaper and was met with a sight my young eyes shouldn't see. I wiped her and put on the new diaper. I realized it wasn't that bad. After I was done, Norns crying watered down into nothing but sound sleeping. This brought a smile to my face. I knew I was going to enjoy having my own child. Although that's quite a ways away and even investing brain cells into those thoughts seems like a waste. I picked her up and carried her back to her crib where I laid her back down. I took a few more seconds to look at her sleep peacefully before I went downstairs and out the door with a wooden sword.
A couple hours later Rudy and Sylphy came outside. Both were blushing profusely. I didn't even bother questioning what the hell happened. I'd ask whenever it was just Rudy and I.
"You guys ready?"
"U-UH UM YEA!" Both Rudy and Sylphy were stuttering everywhere.
I looked at them for a few seconds before asking
"You sure you don't need some time to yourselves to work whatever you got going on out." I asked more for teasing purposes. Seeing Sylphy squirm and Rudy stutter was peak comedy in my books.
They stopped trying to explain themselves when Rudy just started running away. Sylphy followed after. I watched them for a little bit and a large smirk defined my lips. Then I ran after them.

2 weeks later.
Rudy and I have spent every night since the day of Norn's birth killing monsters at night with Lilia's, Zenith's and Paul's permission of course. We tried to get Sylphy as well but her parents refused. Quite unfortunate but doesn't change what Rudy and I have to do. Improve. Our original dream doesn't include Sylphy and we would be damned If we'd go back on that dream just because of a girl. We would mostly kill goblins but the occasional wolf monster would show up. We easily dealt with them. We got training and the village got protection. A win win.
When we returned to our house that night we heard crying. Initially we thought it was Norn and didn't think too much of it, that is until we heard someone walking down the stairs. It was Paul holding a calm Norn. The crying didn't stop. Paul seemed like he was about to say something but with me on all fours and Rudy using wind magic we were gone before he could even get a word out.
Upon coming upon entering the master bedroom we saw Zenith humming while holding a red haired baby. Lilia was asleep.
"Oh boy's your back" Zenith greeted.
Rudy walked forward, staying silent. I followed his lead.
"What's her name?" I asked
"Aisha." Zenith responded.
Rudy smiled. It seems he didn't dislike the name.
Rudy rubbed her head. A gentle smile spread across my face. This child. This one I relate to. Our births were under very similar circumstances. Even if we are half siblings I feel like we're closer than that already. I walked away. My future was decided. I would protect them with my life and at the end of the day I would even lay it down for their safety.

1 year later
A whole year has passed since Aisha's birth. Rudy and I are about 7 and a half. A lot has changed and honestly I'm very proud of myself. Starting with my sun boost which I think I'm gonna call Sunshine. I gain a tremendous amount of strength with the sun now. With this strength I've managed to achieve the level of Sword saint in all 3 styles much like my father Paul. Rudy has remained intermediate in all styles. As for magic Rudy has finally left me in the dust. He is now a king class mage. He can also use healing without incantations up to intermediate. I still haven't gotten past being a beginner. Sylphy can also use it at intermediate level. In the end I decided it's probably just due to their stronger focus on magic. However it still gets to me.
Rudy achieved King class by using his own creativity and making a new water attack he calls 'Deadly Waters' It basically makes a dome of water with a vortex that spins a trapped target around within it. Escape is near impossible…I would know. He taught the move to Sylphy making her also a King class mage although she can't use it without the incantation yet. Thank Truck-Kun. We've come a long way from the little babies we were. We're now some of the strongest people in the entire world.
After becoming a King class mage Rudy voiced that he wanted to attend Ranoa Magic Academy with Sylphy and myself. I was hesitant at first. However I really didn't want to be left behind while they continued getting stronger so ultimately I agreed. As it was right now If me and Rudy were to fight I'd give Rudy the win 6/10 times. Simply because of his new spell. The fact he can use it without incantations and its near instant formation there's no real weakness to it besides the fact that the caster is left wide open after casting. That doesn't matter though in a 1v1. If he can't use that move I win 10/10 times. However, that's not fair to say.
Today Sylphy is having breakfast with my family. The mood is good and everyone is happily chatting. That is until Rudy spoke up.
"Father may I ask something a bit unreasonable." Rudy asked
"You may not." Paul swifty answered before flinching in pain. I guess Zenith kicked him, or Lilia, or both?
"Go ahead and ask sweety I'm sure your father can figure something out." Zenith said with a evil smile
"Yes Master Rudeus please continue, I'm sure my lord can prove his worth to you." Lilia added.
So they both kicked him.
"If he's asking for permission to use it then the request is gonna be outrageously unfair. Oh whatever. Speak your mind Rudy."
"I've decided I want to attend Ranoa." Rudy announced.
"Oh I knew this would happen sooner or later." Paul said while holding his chin.
However I do not wish to attend Ranoa without Sylphy or Lei. Lei is part of our family so I'm sure you would pay for him. However Sylphy's family isn't as well off as ours so I was wondering if maybe you could pay for her as well?" Rudy bowed.
"Let me see." Paul started while tapping the table. "Definitely not a chance." Everyone showed a look of disappointment.
"First of all your 7 years old I don't feel like I've prepared you enough for a place like Ranoa. Secondly the cost for you and Lei is already going beyond what we can afford even with you both hunting monsters on the regular, but you also want me to include little Sylphiette. That would ruin us. Finally though you both are very strong especially for your age, you carry my name which means you may have a target on your head if you're careless. I can't trust that you'll go without being attacked at least once." Paul finished. Everyone looked upset but content. Paul had good reasoning afterall
Rudy however was not ready to give up just yet.
"Then If you could, please find me a job so that I may pay for our tuition." Rudy pleaded.
"As if I'm gonna let you work by yourself Rudy." I said standing up.
"Yeah I'll carry my own weight too." Sylphy announced.
Ah Sylphy doesn't want Rudy getting away from her. Makes sense. I nodded as if everything made perfect sense.
"If it's a job you want, I could do that. A job for all three of you thought that'll be a little harder. I'll look into it." Paul promised.
"Thank you so much." All three of us thanked Paul and bowed.
I'm happy we can all stay together. I really didn't want to have to separate from Rudy. Sylphy and I have become as close as siblings as well. I wouldn't want to lose her either.

1 month later
A carriage arrived at our house while Rudy and I were training with Paul. Rudy was on the side with Zenith, Lilia and the babies, while I was sparring with Paul. Though our spar was cut short when a very familiar brown skinned silver haired beastwoman hopped out of the carriage. She had a soft smile on her face. Another person hopped out as well. It was a girl maybe a little older than us. She had red hair and red eyes. Her expression was one that of a snobby rich girl but she honestly barely registered more than a thought from me afterall. My mother had come back.
"Mother?" I asked, still unable to believe my eyes. Tears were flowing and I wasn't doing anything to stop them.
"My little kitten." Ghislaine responded, tears also escaping her eyes. She had a sweet smile.
I sprinted at my full speed towards her arms and deeply embraced her. We stayed like that for a while. Until the red haired girl spoke up.
"Ghislaine, This is your son? He looks just like you. He also seems strong like you." The girl had stars in her eyes as she inspected every bit of my body.
"That's right Eris. This is my son Leighton. Please treat him well. From today on he will be working with me as an assistant bodyguard for your family." Ghislaine explained.
"Wait so that's the job you got for us father?" I asked, turning towards Paul.
"Yes. You're gonna be working under Ghislaine while Rudy will be teaching little Eris here magic." Paul explained.
"Who the hell are you calling little. Ghislaine do something about him." Eris demanded.
"Gladly." Ghislaine answered while cracking her fists as she walked forward.
"No you're kidding right? Paul started but after looking into Ghislaine's eyes he realized fast that she was indeed telling the truth. Paul improved sure but he was in no way a match for a sword king. Especially not one that fought as unusually as Ghislaine. "Please have no mercy." Paul said, covering his head. Everyone laughed.
"Wait father you said I'd be a magic teacher and Lei would be a bodyguard, but what about Sylphy." Rudy questioned.
Paul looked at his son and picked up two wooden swords. As he inspected them he asked.
"Rudy. If I were to tell you that you wouldn't be able to see Sylphy for a long time, what would you say?"
"I'd obviously refuse." Rudy answered.
"I thought you'd say that." Paul continued.
"Wait father, what's going on?" Rudy asked
"Nope, don't even. I know if I try to explain it to you, you'll just try and talk your way out of it." Paul stated while throwing Rudy a wooden sword. As Rudy caught it Paul dashed towards him with a downwards slash. Rudy used wind magic to blast himself away from Paul. Paul decided to rush Rudy again; this was a huge mistake. 'DEADLY WATERS' Rudy called out, trapping Paul in his dome of water. The match was over.
"Wow Paul you lost to your own kid. I thought you got stronger." Ghislaine taunted getting laughs from all the ladies present with the exception of the babies.
I ran up to Rudy who was having his own little victory dance as our father was drowning.
"Nice job Rudy. Perfect execution" I complimented.
"Thanks. Rudy responded.
"Want to teach me that move now?" I asked with pleading eyes.
"Not a chance." Rudy shut me down quickly
I put my head down getting more laughs from everyone. As I looked up I noticed that Paul was still in the dome.
"Rudy drop the magic." I demanded.
"Oh yea whoops forgot about that." Rudy childishly knocked his head.
Paul fell straight to the ground and was gasping for air.
"DAMN YOU RUUUUDDYYYY!" Paul shouted.
"Hey father, it's not my fault. You forget you attacked me first?" Rudy asked
Paul realized that Rudy was right. He looked away and rubbed the back of his head before nodding. Everyone deadpanned.
"Ghislaine, you think you could take another person on as the family's bodyguard? This one is a water king just like my son." Paul questioned
"Sure the more the merrier. I don't mind and I doubt my employers will either right Eris?"
Eris wasn't paying attention though, her eyes had never left Rudy since he casted that water magic. She was entranced.
"You, what's your name?" Eris asked.
Rudy hesitated before answering. "My name is Rudeus Greyrat it's a pleas-"
"Teach me that attack." Eris demanded after cutting Rudy off.
Rudy looked annoyed but nodded.
"I would love to, Lady Eris. However to get to this level you will have to learn beginner, intermediate, advanced, and said class magic." Rudy explained.
"Then what are we waiting for? Go get your friend so we can go." Eris demanded once again this time with sparkles in her eyes.
Rudeus nodded and was about to run off but I stopped him.
"It'd be quicker if I went." I told Rudy.
He nodded and I got on all fours before heading towards Sylph's house.

Sylphy's house
I arrived at Sylphy's house and knocked at the door. Within the first few knocks the door was opened by none other than the very girl I was sent to get.
"Oh hey Lei, how are you? Where's Rudeus?" Sylphy politely greeted me.
I decided to skip past the pleasantries and hop right into what mattered.
"Pack your things. My father found us a job. They are currently waiting for us." I informed her to which she started to panic.
She quickly ran into her house and I could hear her explaining the situation to her parents. She had a pretty long goodbye which I didn't mind. After she finished saying goodbye she returned with a small bag. I'm guessing she only packed the essentials.
"Alright hop on." I ordered getting on all fours. Sylphy blushed a bit but eventually hopped on.

Back at the Greyrat House
When I arrived with Sylphy on my back Eris seemed to have gotten extremely impatient and dragged Rudeus into the cart with her to keep her company.
"Get inside the cart I'm gonna say goodbye to my family." I told Sylphy to which she nodded before getting inside the cart with Ghislaine following right behind her.
"Well I guess I'll be going." I said with a bow to my loved ones.
"The next time I see you kid you better be stronger than Ghislaine kid." Paul demanded.
"Right, I will succeed." I replied.
"Take care Master Lei." Aisha and I will be ready to serve you upon your return." Lilia added.
I chuckled before saying. "Don't push yourselves too far. I'll miss you. As I finished saying this I walked up and hugged Lilia and patted Aisha's head.
"We'll miss you Lei. Please come home safe." Zenith said while holding Norn.
I walked up and did the same with Zenith and Norn before saying. Thank you Lady Zenith. For a good portion you've been like a mother to me. Thank you so much for caring so much about me. Zenith pulled me in tighter and squeezed as hard as she could which did well to calm my nerves. After saying goodbye to them I ran up to Paul and hugged him much to his surprise. After I left his embrace and waved at everyone before hopping into the cart.
"Took you long enough." Eris spat.
I smiled at this and laid my head on my mothers lap. She gently rubbed my head and ears. Seeing this Eris decided to stay quiet. Rudy and Sylphy smiled. I slowly drifted off until nothing but relaxing darkness surrounded me.
Chapter End: Thank You so much for reading the chapter. I tried my best writing this chapter and as you have seen it contains a lot. I didn't know if I should take Sylphy with them and I planned on leaving her out but once I got to the fight I realized there was no way Rudy was gonna lose to Paul. So I guess you could say I set myself up with that one. Please let me know what you think. I apologize if I have any typos here. I read it when I was exhausted so I could have missed some stuff. Let me know if you want to see a Rudy x Roxy x Sylphy x Eris and a Lei x Ariel. I think it's a fire idea but I want to see what more people think before I solidify anything. The next chapter will be just as long if not longer so look forward to that but also expect it to drop in about 2 days. Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing from you guys.
Random Question: Who's your Mushoku Tensei best girl? For me its honestly between Sylphy and Eris. Though I'd probably lean more towards Sylphy due to her more loving nature. See yall next time
